ਓਰੈਕਛੂਨਕਿਨਹੂਕੀਆ॥
(ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਉਰੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨ-ਜੋਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ,
In this world, no one accomplishes anything by himself.
ਨਾਨਕਸਭੁਕਛੁਪ੍ਰਭਤੇਹੂਆ॥੫੧॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ-ਆਕਾਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੫੧॥
O Nanak, everything is done by God. ||51||

ਲੇਖੈਕਤਹਿਨਛੂਟੀਐਖਿਨੁਖਿਨੁਭੂਲਨਹਾਰ॥
ਅਸੀਂ ਜੀਵ ਖਿਨ ਖਿਨ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਭੁੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਾਂ, ਜੇ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਭੁੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੀ ਇਸ ਭਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਰਖ਼ਰੂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ।
Because of the balance due on his account, he can never be released; he makes mistakes each and every moment.
ਬਖਸਨਹਾਰਬਖਸਿਲੈਨਾਨਕਪਾਰਿਉਤਾਰ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿੰਦ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਭੁੱਲਾਂ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼, ਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਡੁਬਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ॥੧॥
O Forgiving Lord, please forgive me, and carry Nanak across. ||1||

ਲੂਣਹਰਾਮੀਗੁਨਹਗਾਰਬੇਗਾਨਾਅਲਪਮਤਿ॥
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾ-ਸ਼ੁਕਰਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਨਹਗਾਰ ਹੈ, ਹੋਛੀ ਮਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਓਪਰਾ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
The sinner is unfaithful to himself; he is ignorant, with shallow understanding.
ਜੀਉਪਿੰਡੁਜਿਨਿਸੁਖਦੀਏਤਾਹਿਨਜਾਨਤਤਤ॥
ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਜਿੰਦ ਤੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਅਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣਦਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
He does not know the essence of all, the One who gave him body, soul and peace.
ਲਾਹਾਮਾਇਆਕਾਰਨੇਦਹਦਿਸਿਢੂਢਨਜਾਇ॥
ਮਾਇਆ ਖੱਟਣ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਦਸੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਭਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਤੁਰਿਆ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
For the sake of personal profit and Maya, he goes out, searching in the ten directions.
ਦੇਵਨਹਾਰਦਾਤਾਰਪ੍ਰਭਨਿਮਖਨਮਨਹਿਬਸਾਇ॥
ਪਰ ਜੇਹੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾਤਾਰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਣ ਜੋਗਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਖ ਦੇ ਫੋਰ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਸਮੇ ਲਈ ਭੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਸਾਂਦਾ।
He does not enshrine the Generous Lord God, the Great Giver, in his mind, even for an instant.
ਲਾਲਚਝੂਠਬਿਕਾਰਮੋਹਇਆਸੰਪੈਮਨਮਾਹਿ॥
ਲਾਲਚ, ਝੂਠ, ਵਿਕਾਰ ਤੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ-ਬੱਸ! ਇਹੀ ਧਨ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਂਭੀ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈ।
Greed, falsehood, corruption and emotional attachment - these are what he collects within his mind.
ਲੰਪਟਚੋਰਨਿੰਦਕਮਹਾਤਿਨਹੂਸੰਗਿਬਿਹਾਇ॥
ਜੋ ਵਿਸ਼ਈ ਹਨ, ਚੋਰ ਹਨ, ਮਹਾ ਨਿੰਦਕ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਥ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਬੀਤਦੀ ਹੈ।
The worst perverts, thieves and slanderers - he passes his time with them.
ਤੁਧੁਭਾਵੈਤਾਬਖਸਿਲੈਹਿਖੋਟੇਸੰਗਿਖਰੇ॥
(ਪਰ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਜੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਖੋਟਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
But if it pleases You, Lord, then You forgive the counterfeit along with the genuine.
ਨਾਨਕਭਾਵੈਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਪਾਹਨਨੀਰਿਤਰੇ॥੫੨॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ (ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਪੱਥਰ-ਦਿਲ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਮ-ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਦੇ ਕੇ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਡੁਬਣੋਂ) ਬਚਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੫੨॥
O Nanak, if it pleases the Supreme Lord God, then even a stone will float on water. ||52||

ਖਾਤਪੀਤਖੇਲਤਹਸਤਭਰਮੇਜਨਮਅਨੇਕ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਅਸੀਂ ਜੀਵ ਮਾਇਕ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਹੀ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਪੀਂਦੇ, ਤੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਰੰਗ ਤਮਾਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਹੱਸਦੇ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭਟਕਦੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ,
Eating, drinking, playing and laughing, I have wandered through countless incarnations.
ਭਵਜਲਤੇਕਾਢਹੁਪ੍ਰਭੂਨਾਨਕਤੇਰੀਟੇਕ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਸਾਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
Please, God, lift me up and out of the terrifying world-ocean. Nanak seeks Your Support. ||1||

ਖੇਲਤਖੇਲਤਆਇਓਅਨਿਕਜੋਨਿਦੁਖਪਾਇ॥
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਾਇਕ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਮਨ ਪਰਚਾਂਦਾ ਪਰਚਾਂਦਾ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਲੰਘਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Playing, playing, I have been reincarnated countless times, but this has only brought pain.
ਖੇਦਮਿਟੇਸਾਧੂਮਿਲਤਸਤਿਗੁਰਬਚਨਸਮਾਇ॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ, ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਚਿੱਤ ਜੁੜ ਜਾਏ, ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ-ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Troubles are removed, when one meets with the Holy; immerse yourself in the Word of the True Guru.
ਖਿਮਾਗਹੀਸਚੁਸੰਚਿਓਖਾਇਓਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁਨਾਮ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ (ਗੁਰੂ-ਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਖਿਮਾ ਦਾ ਸੁਭਾਉ ਗ੍ਰਹਣ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ, ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਨਾਮ-ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਬਣਾਇਆ,
Adopting an attitude of tolerance, and gathering truth, partake of the Ambrosial Nectar of the Name.
ਖਰੀਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਠਾਕੁਰਭਈਅਨਦਸੂਖਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮ॥
ਉਸ ਉਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਬੜੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ-ਸੁਖ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
When my Lord and Master showed His Great Mercy, I found peace, happiness and bliss.
ਖੇਪਨਿਬਾਹੀਬਹੁਤੁਲਾਭਘਰਿਆਏਪਤਿਵੰਤ॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ (ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੇ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ) ਵਣਜ-ਵਪਾਰ (ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ) ਤੋੜ ਨਿਬਾਹਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲਾਭ ਖੱਟਿਆ, ਉਹ (ਭਟਕਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਕੇ) ਅਡੋਲ-ਮਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਦਰ ਖੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ।
My merchandise has arrived safely, and I have made a great profit; I have returned home with honor.
ਖਰਾਦਿਲਾਸਾਗੁਰਿਦੀਆਆਇਮਿਲੇਭਗਵੰਤ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਚੰਗੀ ਦਿਲੀ ਢਾਰਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਤੇ ਉਹ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਿਆ।
The Guru has given me great consolation, and the Lord God has come to meet me.
ਆਪਨਕੀਆਕਰਹਿਆਪਿਆਗੈਪਾਛੈਆਪਿ॥
(ਪਰ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਹੈ)। ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਖੇਲ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਹੁਣ ਭੀ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ। ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਜੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਖਾ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ।
He Himself has acted, and He Himself acts. He was in the past, and He shall be in the future.
ਨਾਨਕਸੋਊਸਰਾਹੀਐਜਿਘਟਿਘਟਿਰਹਿਆਬਿਆਪਿ॥੫੩॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹਰੇਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਉਸੇ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੫੩॥
O Nanak, praise the One, who is contained in each and every heart. ||53||

ਆਏਪ੍ਰਭਸਰਨਾਗਤੀਕਿਰਪਾਨਿਧਿਦਇਆਲ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ! ਹੇ ਦਿਆਲ! ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਆਏ ਹਾਂ।
O God, I have come to Your Sanctuary, O Merciful Lord, Ocean of compassion.
ਏਕਅਖਰੁਹਰਿਮਨਿਬਸਤਨਾਨਕਹੋਤਨਿਹਾਲ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ) ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਅਵਿਨਾਸ਼ੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਸਦਾ ਖਿੜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
One whose mind is filled with the One Word of the Lord, O Nanak, becomes totally blissful. ||1||

ਇਹ ਤਿੰਨੇ ਭਵਨ (ਸਾਰਾ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਰਚੇ ਹਨ।
In the Word, God established the three worlds.
ਅਖਰਕਰਿਕਰਿਬੇਦਬੀਚਾਰੇ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੀ ਵੇਦ ਰਚੇ ਗਏ, ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ਗਏ।
Created from the Word, the Vedas are contemplated.
ਅਖਰਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿਪੁਰਾਨਾ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵ ਹਨ।
From the Word, came the Shaastras, Simritees and Puraanas.
ਅਖਰਨਾਦਕਥਨਵਖੵਾਨਾ॥
ਇਹਨਾਂ ਪੁਰਾਣਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਥਾ ਤੇ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਭੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਜ਼ਹੂਰ ਹਨ।
From the Word, came the sound current of the Naad, speeches and explanations.
ਅਖਰਮੁਕਤਿਜੁਗਤਿਭੈਭਰਮਾ॥
ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਡਰਾਂ ਭਰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਲੱਭਣੀ ਭੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੈ।
From the Word, comes the way of liberation from fear and doubt.
ਅਖਰਕਰਮਕਿਰਤਿਸੁਚਧਰਮਾ॥
(ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਚ) ਕਰਨਯੋਗ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਤਾ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ-ਇਹ ਭੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਦ੍ਰਿੱਸ਼ ਹੈ।
From the Word, come religious rituals, karma, sacredness and Dharma.
ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿਮਾਨਅਖਰਹੈਜੇਤਾ॥
ਜਿਤਨਾ ਭੀ ਇਹ ਦਿੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਾ ਸਰਗੁਣ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ,
In the visible universe, the Word is seen.
ਨਾਨਕਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਨਿਰਲੇਪਾ॥੫੪॥
ਪਰ ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਹੁਕਮ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ (ਇਸ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਸਾਰੇ ਦੇ) ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ ॥੫੪॥
O Nanak, the Supreme Lord God remains unattached and untouched. ||54||
ਸਲੋਕੁ॥

ਹਥਿਕਲੰਮਅਗੰਮਮਸਤਕਿਲਿਖਾਵਤੀ॥
ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ (ਹੁਕਮ ਰੂਪ) ਕਲਮ (ਫੜੀ ਹੋਈ) ਹੈ, (ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ) ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ (ਆਪਣੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਰੂਪ ਕਲਮ ਨਾਲ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਲੇਖ) ਲਿਖੀ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
With pen in hand, the Inaccessible Lord writes man's destiny on his forehead.
ਉਰਝਿਰਹਿਓਸਭਸੰਗਿਅਨੂਪਰੂਪਾਵਤੀ॥
ਉਹ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ (ਤਾਣੇ ਪੇਟੇ ਵਾਂਗ) ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ (ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਲੇਖ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ)।
The Lord of Incomparable Beauty is involved with all.
ਉਸਤਤਿਕਹਨੁਨਜਾਇਮੁਖਹੁਤੁਹਾਰੀਆ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਥੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ।
I cannot describe Your Praises with my mouth, O Lord.
ਮੋਹੀਦੇਖਿਦਰਸੁਨਾਨਕਬਲਿਹਾਰੀਆ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਸਦਕੇ ਸਦਕੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
Nanak is fascinated, gazing upon the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan; he is a sacrifice to You. ||1||

ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰ ਤੇ ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਡੋਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ! ਹੇ ਨਾਸ-ਰਹਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ!
O Immovable Lord, O Supreme Lord God, Imperishable, Destroyer of sins:
ਹੇਪੂਰਨਹੇਸਰਬਮੈਦੁਖਭੰਜਨਗੁਣਤਾਸ॥
ਹੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪੂਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ!
O Perfect, All-pervading Lord, Destroyer of pain, Treasure of virtue:
ਹੇਸੰਗੀਹੇਨਿਰੰਕਾਰਹੇਨਿਰਗੁਣਸਭਟੇਕ॥
ਹੇ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀ! (ਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਭੀ) ਆਕਾਰ-ਰਹਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ!
O Companion, Formless, Absolute Lord, Support of all:
ਹੇਗੋਬਿਦਹੇਗੁਣਨਿਧਾਨਜਾਕੈਸਦਾਬਿਬੇਕ॥
ਹੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਰ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ! ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਰਖ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਹੈ!
O Lord of the Universe, Treasure of excellence, with clear eternal understanding:
ਹੇਅਪਰੰਪਰਹਰਿਹਰੇਹਹਿਭੀਹੋਵਨਹਾਰ॥
ਹੇ ਪਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਭੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
Most Remote of the Remote, Lord God: You are, You were, and You shall always be.
ਹੇਸੰਤਹਕੈਸਦਾਸੰਗਿਨਿਧਾਰਾਆਧਾਰ॥
ਹੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਦਾ ਸਹਾਈ! ਹੇ ਨਿਆਸਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ!
O Constant Companion of the Saints, You are the Support of the unsupported.
ਹੇਠਾਕੁਰਹਉਦਾਸਰੋਮੈਨਿਰਗੁਨਗੁਨੁਨਹੀਕੋਇ॥
ਹੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਲਕ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਿੱਕਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਦਾਸ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਗੁਣ-ਹੀਨ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਗੁਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
O my Lord and Master, I am Your slave. I am worthless, I have no worth at all.
