ਨਧਰਮੰਨਭਰਮੰਨਸਰਮੰਨਸਾਕੇ॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰਾ) ਨਾ ਧਰਮ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਭਰਮ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਸਾਕ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਹੈ।
He is without religion, without illusion, without shyness and without relations.
ਨਬਰਮੰਨਚਰਮੰਨਕਰਮੰਨਬਾਕੇ॥
(ਤੇਰਾ) ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਕਵਚ ('ਬਰਮੰ') ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਢਾਲ ('ਚਰਮੰ') ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਕਰਮ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਡਰ (ਬਾਕ-ਫ਼ਾਰਸੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ) ਹੈ।
He is without coat of mail, without shield, without steps and without speech.
ਨਸਤ੍ਰੰਨਮਿਤ੍ਰੰਨਪੁਤ੍ਰੰਸਰੂਪੇ॥
(ਤੇਰਾ) ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੈਰੀ, ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਮਿਤਰ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈ, (ਤੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੇ) ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
He is without enemy, without friend and without countenance of a son.

(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ) ਕਿਤੇ ਕਮਲ ('ਕੰਜ') ਦੀ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ ('ਮੰਜ') ਦੇ ਭਰਮ ਵਿਚ ਭੁਲੇ (ਭੌਰੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਮੁੰਡਰਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ)

ਕਹੂੰਰੰਕਕੇਰਾਜਕੇਧਰਮਅਲੂਲੇ॥
ਕਿਤੇ (ਤੂੰ) ਭਿਖਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੁਭਾ ਵਿਚ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ (ਤੂੰ) ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਸੁਭਾ ਵਿਚ ਸਥਿਰ ਹੈਂ।

ਕਹੂੰਦੇਸਕੇਭੇਸਕੇਧਰਮਧਾਮੇ॥
(ਤੂੰ) ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਭੇਸ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਠਿਕਾਣਾ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਘਰ) ਹੈਂ।
Somewhere Thou art the abode of virtues of various guises of the county.

ਕਿਤੇ (ਤੂੰ) ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਾਜ-ਸਜਾਵਟ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ (ਉਸ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ) ਬਾਜ਼ ਦਾ ਖਾਧ-ਪਦਾਰਥ (ਮਾਸ ਦਾ ਟੁਕੜਾ) ਹੈਂ ॥੧੬॥੧੦੬॥
