ਐਗਰਦਸ਼ਿਚਸ਼ਮਿਤੂਕਿਅੱਯਾਮਨਦਾਰਦ।
ਐ ਗੁਰੂ# ਤੇਰੀ ਅੱਖਾਣ ਦੀ ਗਰਦਿਸ਼ ਤਾਣ ਦਿਨਾਣ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਣ,
Otherwise, the whole life, while counting your breaths, will disappear just like the air, while we look on. (37) (3)
ਖ਼ੁਰਸ਼ੀਦਿਫ਼ਲਕਪੇਸ਼ਿਰੁਖ਼ਤਨਾਮਨਦਾਰਦ।੨੩।੧।
ਆਸਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਸੂਰਜ ਤੇਰੇ ਮੁਖੜੇ ਦੇ ਸਾ੍ਹਮਣੇ ਰੱਤਾ ਅਰਥ ਨਹੀਣ ਰਖਦਾ ।
The stream of life is flowing like an ever-moving caravan of tides of time,
ਸੱਯਾਦਕਜ਼ਾਅਜ਼ਪਏਦਿਲਬੁਰਦਨਿਆਸ਼ਿਕ।
ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਹੇੜੀ ਆਸ਼ਕ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਨ ਲਈ
If possible, then try to have a momentary sip with every breath from this stream of life (37) (4)
ਚੂੰਚਲਕਾਇਜ਼ੁਲਫ਼ਿਤੂਦਿਗਰਦਾਮਨਦਾਰਦ।੨੩।੨।
ਤੇਰੀ ਜ਼ੁਲਫ਼ ਦੇ ਫੰਦੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਲ ਨਹੀਣ ਰਖਦਾ ।
Goya says, "You have indulged in hundreds of vain chores in life that will not be of any eventual use,
Therefore, engage yourself in such activities that will be useful again and hereafter (37) (5)
O Knower of all mysteries! We, who have seen the higher end of Your street,
Did bow and put our head down on the dust of the area in utter humility and turned ourselves away from everything else. (38) (1)
Since I made my visits to your street as a commonplace,
I have rejected the highest garden of heavens and considered it only as the floor under your doorsill." (38) (2)
ਈਣਉਮਰਿਗਿਰਾਣਮਾਯਾਇਗ਼ਨੀਮਤਸ਼ੁਮਰਆਖ਼ਿਰ।
ਇਹ ਬਹੁਮੁੱਲੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਗਨੀਮਤ ਸਮਝ,
The waves and the curls of your fragrant locks took away my heart and soul,
ਮਾਸੁਬਹਨਦੀਦੇਮਕਿਊਸ਼ਾਮਨ-ਦਾਰਦ।੨੩।੩।
ਅਸਾਣ ਅਜੇਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਸਵੇਰ ਨਹੀਣ ਵੇਖੀ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨ ਹੋਵੇ ।
And, this was the highest treasure gathered through my long life. (38) (3)
ਤਾਚੰਦਦਿਲਾਸਾਕੁਨਮਈਣਖ਼ਾਤਿਰਿਖ਼ੁਦਰਾ।
ਮੈਣ ਕਦ ਤਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਰਹਾਣ,
Your face's sight is that sacred text that protects everyone under all circumstances.
ਬੇ-ਦੀਦਨਿਰੂਇਤੂਦਿਲਆਰਾਮਨਦਾਰਦ।੨੩।੪।
ਤੇਰਾ ਮੁਖੜਾ ਵੇਖੇ ਬਿਨਾਣ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਚੈਨ ਨਹੀਣ ਹੈ ।
A arcged wrinkle in Your eyebrow is the alcove of the mosque (meditation) in the minds of Your devotees. (38) (4)
ਈਣਚਸ਼ਮਿਗੋਹਰਬਾਰਕਿਦਰਿਆਸ਼ੁਦਾਗੋਯਾ।
ਇਸ ਮੋਤੀ ਵਸਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਅੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਕਿ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ,
Goyaa says, "How can I explain the condition of my mind when I am separated from you?
It is like a lamp that always has to burn and melt its passions. (38) (5)
O Guru! The whole world is bewildered and is confused without you,
My heart and soul are getting charred and getting cooked on a grill like Kabab due to your separation." (39) (1)
ਬੇ-ਰੂਇਦਿਲਾਰਮਤੂਆਰਾਮਨ-ਦਾਰਦ।੨੩।੫।
ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਪਹੂੰਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਣਾਣ (ਬਚਨਾਣ) ਬਿਨਾਣ ਆਰਾਮ ਨਹੀਣ ।
Any seeker of God lives for ever (He is remembered for ever),
