ਤਿਤੇਰਾਮਘਾਏ॥
ਉਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਪਰਸ਼ੁਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
ਚਲੇਭਾਜਿਸਰਬੰ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਭਜ ਚਲੇ,
ਭਯੋਦੂਰਗਰਬੰ॥੨੬॥
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ) ਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ॥੨੬॥
All the enemies who came in front of him, Parashurama killed them all. Ultimately all of them ran away and their pride was shattered.26.

ਮਹਾਸਸਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੇਚਲਿਯੋਆਪਭੂਪੰ॥
ਵਧੀਆ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ (ਅੰਤ ਵਿਚ) ਰਾਜਾ ਆਪ (ਯੁੱਧ ਲਈ) ਤੁਰਿਆ।
ਲਏਸਰਬਸੈਨਾਕੀਏਆਪਰੂਪੰ॥
(ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ) ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਲੈ ਲਈ (ਜਿਸ ਨੇ) ਭਿਆਨਕ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
Wearing his important weapons, the king himself, taking the mighty warriors with him, marched forward to wage the war.
ਅਨੰਤਅਸਤ੍ਰਛੋਰੇਭਯੋਜੁਧੁਮਾਨੰ॥
(ਜਾਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੇ) ਅਨੰਤ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ (ਤੀਰ) ਛਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਗੌਰਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਯੁੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ।
ਪ੍ਰਭਾਕਾਲਮਾਨੋਸਭੈਰਸਮਿਭਾਨੰ॥੨੭॥
(ਉਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੁਭਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ) ਮਾਨੋ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਿਰਨਾਂ ਹੋਣ ॥੨੭॥
Forsaking his innumerable weapons, he waged a terrible war. The king himself seemed like the rising sun at dawn.27.
ਭੁਜਾਠੋਕਿਭੂਪੰਕੀਯੋਜੁਧਐਸੇ॥
ਭੁਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਠੋਕ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ,
ਮਨੋਬੀਰਬ੍ਰਿਤਰਾਸੁਰੇਇੰਦ੍ਰਜੈਸੇ॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਵੀਰ ਵ੍ਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਸੁਰ ਨੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਨਾਲ (ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ)।
Patting his arms, the king firmly waged the war, like the war waged by Vrittasura with Indra
ਸਬੈਕਾਟਰਾਮੰਕੀਯੋਬਾਹਿਹੀਨੰ॥
ਪਰਸ਼ੁਰਾਮ ਨੇ (ਸਹਸ੍ਰਬਾਹੁ) ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ (ਬਾਂਹਵਾਂ) ਕਟ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਂਹਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਹਤੀਸਰਬਸੈਨਾਭਯੋਗਰਬਛੀਨੰ॥੨੮॥
(ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਸਾਰੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਮਾਰੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ॥੨੮॥
Parashurama made him armless by chopping away all his arms, and shattered his pride by destroying all his army.28.
ਗਹਿਯੋਰਾਮਪਾਣੰਕੁਠਾਰੰਕਰਾਲੰ॥
ਪਰਸ਼ੁਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਕੁਹਾੜਾ ਫੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
ਕਟੀਸੁੰਡਸੀਰਾਜਿਬਾਹੰਬਿਸਾਲੰ॥
(ਉਸ ਨਾਲ) ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਾਥੀ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਡ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਬਾਂਹਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
Parashurama held up his dreadful axe in his hand and chopped the arm of king like the trunk of the elephant.
ਭਏਅੰਗਭੰਗੰਕਰੰਕਾਲਹੀਣੰ॥
ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ ਕਟੇ ਜਾ ਚੁਕੇ ਸਨ, ਕਾਲ ਨੇ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਨਾਕਾਰਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਗਯੋਗਰਬਸਰਬੰਭਈਸੈਣਛੀਣੰ॥੨੯॥
(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਸਾਰਾ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਮਿਟ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਨਾ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਗਈ ॥੨੯॥
In this way becoming limbless, the whole army of the king was destroyed and his ego was shattered.29.
ਰਹਿਯੋਅੰਤਖੇਤੰਅਚੇਤੰਨਰੇਸੰ॥
ਅੰਤ ਵਿਚ ਅਚੇਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ।
ਬਚੇਬੀਰਜੇਤੇਗਏਭਾਜਦੇਸੰ॥
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਬਚੇ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਦੇਸੋਂ ਭਜ ਗਏ।
Ultimatley, becoming unconscious the king fell down in the battlefield, and all his warriors, who remained alive, fled away to their own countries.
ਲਈਛੀਨਛਉਨੀਕਰੈਛਤ੍ਰਿਘਾਤੰ॥
ਛਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ (ਪਰਸ਼ੁਰਾਮ ਨੇ) ਧਰਤੀ ਖੋਹ ਲਈ।
ਚਿਰੰਕਾਲਪੂਜਾਕਰੀਲੋਕਮਾਤੰ॥੩੦॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਚਿਰ ਕਾਲ ਤਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ (ਜਗਤ-ਮਾਤਾ) ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕੀਤੀ ॥੩੦॥
Parashurama seized his capital and destroyed the Kshatriyas and for a long time, the people worshipped him.30.

ਲਈਛੀਨਛਉਨੀਕਰੈਬਿਪਭੂਪੰ॥
(ਪਰਸ਼ੁਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਛਤਰੀਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ) ਧਰਤੀ ਖੋਹ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜੇ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਹਰੀਫੇਰਿਛਤ੍ਰਿਨਦਿਜੰਜੀਤਿਜੂਪੰ॥
ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੂਏ ਵਿਚ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ ਛਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਧਰਤੀ) ਖੋਹ ਲਈ।
After seizing the capital, Parashurama made a Brahmin the king, but again the Kshatriyas, conquering all the Brahmins, snatched their city.
ਦਿਜੰਆਰਤੰਤੀਰਰਾਮੰਪੁਕਾਰੰ॥
ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੁਖੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪਰਸ਼ੁਰਾਮ ਪਾਸ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ।
