ਐਜ਼ੁਲਫ਼ਿਅੰਬਰੀਨਿਤੂਗੋਯਾਨਕਾਬਿਸੁਬਹਾ।
ਤੇਰੀ ਇਹ ਅੰਬਰ ਵਰਗੀ ਕਾਲੀ ਜ਼ੁਲਫ ਮਾਨੋ ਸਵੇਰ ਦਾ ਬੁਰਕਾ ਹੈ,
How fortunate is the person with a radiant heart and soul that is thoroughly and fully enlightened,
ਪਿਨਹਾਣਚੂਜ਼ੇਰਅਬਰਿਸਿਆਹਆਫਤਾਬਿਸੁਬਹਾ।੧੭।੧।
ਜਿਵੇਣ ਕਿਧਰੇ ਸਵੇਰ ਦਾ ਸੂਰਜ ਕਾਲੇ ਬਦਲ ਹੇਠ ਲੁਕ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ।
And whose forehead constantly bows in the court of Waaheguru. (26) (4)
ਬੀਰੂੰਬਰ-ਆਮਦਆਣਮਹਿਮਨਚੂੰਜ਼ਖ਼ਾਬਿਸੁਬਹਾ।
ਜਦ ਮੇਰਾ ਚੰਨ ਸਵੇਰ ਦੀ ਨੀਣਦਰ ਤੋਣ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਇਆ,
O Goyaa! Keep circling around his territory expecting to offer a sacrifice without bragging about it,
ਸਦਤਾਅਨਾਮੀ-ਜ਼ਨਦਬਰੁਖ਼ਿਆਫਤਾਬਿਸੁਬਹਾ।੧੭।੨।
ਤਾਣ ਮਾਨੋ ਸਵੇਰ ਦੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਨੇ ਲਾਅਨਤਾਣ ਪਾਈਆਣ ।
I am just waiting for a simple signal and pointer of his eyes. (26) (5)
ਬਾ-ਚਸ਼ਮਿਖ਼ਾਬਨਾਕਚੂੰਬੀਰੂੰਬਰਆਮਦੀ।
ਜਦ ਤੂੰ ਉਨੀਣਦੀਆਣ ਅੱਖਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਇਆ,
There are thousands of studded peacock thrones littered in your way,
ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾਗਸ਼ਤਅਜ਼ਰੁਖ਼ਿਤੂਆਫਤਾਬਿਸੁਬਹਾ।੧੭।੩।
ਤਾਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਮੁਖੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸਵੇਰ ਦਾ ਸੂਰਜ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ।
But your devout followers stupefied by your grace have absolutely no desire for any crowns or gems. (27) (1)
ਅਜ਼ਮਕਦਮਿਸ਼ਰੀਫ਼ਜਹਾਣਰਾਦਿਹਦਫ਼ਰੋਗ਼।
ਜਦ ਸਵੇਰ ਦਾ ਸੂਰਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੁਖੜੇ ਤੋਣ ਬੁਰਕਾ ਲਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
Everything in this world is destructible and ceases to exist (ultimately),
ਚੂੰਬਰ-ਕਸ਼ਦਨਕਾਬਜ਼ਿਰੁਖ਼ਿਆਫ਼ਤਾਬਿਸੁਬਹਾ।੧੭।੪।
ਆਪਣੀ ਸੁਭਾਗੀ ਆਮਦ ਨਾਲ ਜਹਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ।
But the lovers never get destroyed because they know the secrets of love. (27) (2)
ਬੇਦਾਰੀਅਸਤਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀਇਸਾਹਿਬਾਨਸ਼ੌਕ।
ਜਗਿਆਸੁਆਣ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨਿਤ ਦਾ ਜਗਰਾਤਾ ਹੈ,
All eyes were anxiously intent for a glimpse of the Guru,
ਗੋਯਾਹਰਾਮਕਰਦਮਅਜ਼ਆਇੰਦਾਖ਼ਾਬਿਸੁਬਹਾ।੧੭।੫।
ਗੋਯਾ # ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਅੱਗੋਣ ਤੋਣ ਸਵੇਰ ਦੀ ਨੀਣਦ ਹਰਾਮ ਹੈ ।
And thousands of minds are getting submerged (like in quick sand) in their anxiety of separation (from the Guru). (27) (3)
