ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿਤਨਜਾਹਿਨਿਹਰਿਹੋ॥
(ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹੋ,
ਤਾਕੇਤਾਪਤਨਕਮੋਹਰਿਹੋ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ (ਸਾਰੇ) ਦੁਖ ਛਿਣ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Upon whomsoever Thou dost cast Thy favourable glance, they are absolved of sins instantly
ਰਿੱਧਿਸਿੱਧਿਘਰਮੋਸਭਹੋਈ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਸਭ ਰਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਧੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ
They have all the worldly and spiritual pleasures in their homes
ਦੁਸ਼ਟਛਾਹਛ੍ਵੈਸਕੈਨਕੋਈ॥੩੯੯॥
ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ (ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨ) (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਪਰਛਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਛੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੩੯੯॥
None of th enemies can even touch their shadow.399.
ਏਕਬਾਰਜਿਨਿਤੁਮੈਸੰਭਾਰਾ॥
(ਹੇ ਪਰਮ ਸੱਤਾ!) ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ,
ਕਾਲਫਾਸਤੇਤਾਹਿਉਬਾਰਾ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ (ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਫਾਹੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ।
He, who remembered Thee even once, Thou didst protect him from the noose of death
ਜਿਨਿਨਰਿਨਾਮੁਤਿਹਾਰੋਕਹਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
ਦਾਰਿਦਦੁਸਟਦੋਖਤੇਰਹਾ॥੪੦੦॥
(ਉਹ) ਦਰਿਦ੍ਰ (ਗ਼ਰੀਬੀ) ਦੁਸ਼ਟ (ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨ) ਅਤੇ ਦੁਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਗਿਆ ॥੪੦੦॥
Those persons, who repeated Thy Name, they were saved from poverty and attacks of enemies.400.
ਖੜਗਕੇਤੁਮੈਸਰਣਿਤਿਹਾਰੀ॥
ਹੇ ਖੜਗਕੇਤੁ! ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਹਾਂ।
ਆਪੁਹਾਥਦੈਲੇਹੁਉਬਾਰੀ॥
ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਕੇ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਬਚਾ ਲਵੋ।
Bestow thy help own me at all places protect me from the design of my enemies. 401.
ਸਰਬਠੌਰਮੋਹੋਹੁਸਹਾਈ॥
ਸਭ ਥਾਂਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਓ।
ਦੁਸਟਦੋਖਤੇਲੇਹੁਬਚਾਈ॥੪੦੧॥
ਦੁਸ਼ਟ (ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨ) ਅਤੇ ਦੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲਵੋ ॥੪੦੧॥
Bestow Thy help on me at all places and protect me from the designs of my enemies.401.
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਕਰੀਹਮਪਰਜਗਮਾਤਾ॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਜਗਮਾਤਾ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ
ਗ੍ਰੰਥਕਰਾਪੂਰਨਸੁਭਰਾਤਾ॥
(ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ) ਸ਼ੁਭ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ('ਸੁਭਰਾਤਾ') ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
The Mother of the world has been kind towards me and I have completed the book this auspicious night
ਕਿਲਬਿਖਸਕਲਦੇਖਕੋਹਰਤਾ॥
(ਉਹੀ) ਮੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ
ਦੁਸਟਦੋਖਿਯਨਕੋਛੈਕਰਤਾ॥੪੦੨॥
ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ (ਵੈਰੀਆਂ) ਅਤੇ ਦੋਖੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ ॥੪੦੨॥
The Lord is the destroyer of all the sins of the body and all the malicious and wicked persons.402.
ਸ੍ਰੀਅਸਿਧੁਜਜਬਭਏਦਯਾਲਾ॥
ਜਦ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਸਿਧੁਜ (ਮਹਾ ਕਾਲ) ਦਿਆਲ ਹੋਏ,
ਪੂਰਨਕਰਾਗ੍ਰੰਥਤਤਕਾਲਾ॥
ਤਾਂ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ (ਮੈਂ ਇਹ) ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
When Mahakal became kind, He immediately caused me to complete this book
ਮਨਬਾਛਤਫਲਪਾਵੈਸੋਈ॥
(ਜੋ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਪਠਨ ਪਾਠਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ) ਉਹ ਮਨ-ਇੱਛਤ ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
ਦੂਖਨਤਿਸੈਬਿਆਪਤਕੋਈ॥੪੦੩॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਦੁਖ ਵਿਆਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ॥੪੦੩॥
He will obtain the fruit desired by the mind (who will read or listen to this book) and no suffering will occur to him.403.

ਸੁਨੈਗੁੰਗਜੋਯਾਹਿਸੁਰਸਨਾਪਾਵਈ॥
ਇਸ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਨੂੰ ਜੇ ਗੁੰਗਾ ਸੁਣੇਗਾ, (ਤਾਂ) ਉਹ ਜੀਭ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਵੇਗਾ।
The dumb, who will listen to it, will be blessed with the tongue to speak
ਸੁਨੈਮੂੜਚਿਤਲਾਇਚਤੁਰਤਾਆਵਈ॥
ਜੇ ਮੂਰਖ ਚਿਤ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਸੁਣੇਗਾ, (ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਸਿਆਣਪ ਆ ਜਾਏਗੀ।
The fool, who will listen to it attentively, will get wisdom
ਦੂਖਦਰਦਭੌਨਿਕਟਨਤਿਨਨਰਕੇਰਹੈ॥
ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੁਖ, ਦਰਦ ਅਤੇ ਭੈ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ,
That person will be absolved of suffering, pain or fear,
ਹੋਜੋਯਾਕੀਏਕਬਾਰਚੌਪਈਕੋਕਹੈ॥੪੦੪॥
ਜੋ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਇਸ ਚੌਪਈ ਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਕਰੇਗਾ ॥੪੦੪॥
Who will even once recite this Chaupai-prayer.404.
