ਹਰਿਜਨਕਰਣੀਊਤਮਹੈਹਰਿਕੀਰਤਿਜਗਿਬਿਸਥਾਰਿ॥੩॥
ਤਿਵੇਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਰਣੀ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ (ਦੀ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ) ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਖਿਲਾਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
The lifestyle of the Lord's humble servant is exalted and sublime. He spreads the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises throughout the world. ||3||
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਕਰਿਠਾਕੁਰਮੇਰੇਹਰਿਹਰਿਹਰਿਉਰਧਾਰਿ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! (ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ) ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ, ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਵਸਾਈ ਰੱਖ।
O my Lord and Master, please be merciful, merciful to me, that I may enshrine the Lord, Har, Har, Har, within my heart.
ਨਾਨਕਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਪੂਰਾਪਾਇਆਮਨਿਜਪਿਆਨਾਮੁਮੁਰਾਰਿ॥੪॥੯॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ (ਸਦਾ) ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ॥੪॥੯॥
Nanak has found the Perfect True Guru; in his mind, he chants the Name of the Lord. ||4||9||
ਮਲਾਰਮਹਲਾ੩ਘਰੁ੨॥
ਰਾਗ ਮਲਾਰ, ਘਰ ੨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ।

ੴਸਤਿਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ॥
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਇਹੁਮਨੁਗਿਰਹੀਕਿਇਹੁਮਨੁਉਦਾਸੀ॥
ਹੇ ਪੰਡਿਤ! (ਵੇਦ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਦੀ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਇਹ ਵਿਚਾਰਿਆ ਕਰ ਕਿ ਤੇਰਾ) ਇਹ ਮਨ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਜੰਜਾਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਫਸਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Is this mind a householder, or is this mind a detached renunciate?
ਕਿਇਹੁਮਨੁਅਵਰਨੁਸਦਾਅਵਿਨਾਸੀ॥
ਹੇ ਪੰਡਿਤ! (ਇਹ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਰ ਕਿ ਤੇਰਾ) ਇਹ ਮਨ (ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਖੱਤ੍ਰੀ ਆਦਿਕ) ਵਰਨ-ਵਿਤਕਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਉਤਾਂਹ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Is this mind beyond social class, eternal and unchanging?
ਕਿਇਹੁਮਨੁਚੰਚਲੁਕਿਇਹੁਮਨੁਬੈਰਾਗੀ॥
ਕੀ (ਤੇਰਾ) ਇਹ ਮਨ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਦੌੜ-ਭੱਜ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਕਾਬੂ ਆਇਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਮਾਇਆ ਤੋਂ ਉਪਰਾਮ ਹੈ।
Is this mind fickle, or is this mind detached?
ਇਸੁਮਨਕਉਮਮਤਾਕਿਥਹੁਲਾਗੀ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਪੰਡਿਤ! (ਇਹ ਭੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਿਆ ਕਰ ਕਿ) ਇਸ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਮਤਾ ਕਿਥੋਂ ਆ ਚੰਬੜਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
How has this mind been gripped by possessiveness? ||1||
ਪੰਡਿਤਇਸੁਮਨਕਾਕਰਹੁਬੀਚਾਰੁ॥
ਹੇ ਪੰਡਿਤ! (ਵੇਦ ਸਾਸ਼ਤ੍ਰ ਦੀ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਆਦਿਕ ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ) ਆਪਣੇ ਇਸ ਮਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ।
O Pandit, O religious scholar, reflect on this in your mind.
ਅਵਰੁਕਿਬਹੁਤਾਪੜਹਿਉਠਾਵਹਿਭਾਰੁ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
(ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ) ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਹ (ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਹਉਮੈ ਦਾ) ਭਾਰ ਹੀ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Why do you read so many other things, and carry such a heavy load? ||1||Pause||
ਮਾਇਆਮਮਤਾਕਰਤੈਲਾਈ॥
ਹੇ ਪੰਡਿਤ! (ਵੇਖ) ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੇ (ਆਪ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ) ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਚੰਬੋੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
The Creator has attached it to Maya and possessiveness.
ਏਹੁਹੁਕਮੁਕਰਿਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿਉਪਾਈ॥
(ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਦਾ) ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
Enforcing His Order, He created the world.
ਗੁਰਪਰਸਾਦੀਬੂਝਹੁਭਾਈ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ (ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ) ਸਮਝ,
By Guru's Grace, understand this, O Siblings of Destiny.
ਸਦਾਰਹਹੁਹਰਿਕੀਸਰਣਾਈ॥੨॥
ਅਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆ ਰਹੁ (ਤਾ ਕਿ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨ ਪਾ ਸਕੇ) ॥੨॥
Remain forever in the Sanctuary of the Lord. ||2||
ਸੋਪੰਡਿਤੁਜੋਤਿਹਾਂਗੁਣਾਕੀਪੰਡਉਤਾਰੈ॥
ਹੇ ਪੰਡਿਤ! ਉਹ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਸਲ) ਪੰਡਿਤ ਹੈ ਜੋ (ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ) ਤਿੰਨਾ ਹੀ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਾਰ ਲਾਹ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
He alone is a Pandit, who sheds the load of the three qualities.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁਏਕੋਨਾਮੁਵਖਾਣੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਜਪਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Night and day, he chants the Name of the One Lord.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਕੀਓਹੁਦੀਖਿਆਲੇਇ॥
ਅਜਿਹਾ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਗ੍ਰਹਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
He accepts the Teachings of the True Guru.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਆਗੈਸੀਸੁਧਰੇਇ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਿਰ ਰੱਖੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ (ਸਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰਦਾ ਹੈ)।
He offers his head to the True Guru.
ਸਦਾਅਲਗੁਰਹੈਨਿਰਬਾਣੁ॥
ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
He remains forever unattached in the state of Nirvaanaa.
ਸੋਪੰਡਿਤੁਦਰਗਹਪਰਵਾਣੁ॥੩॥
ਅਜਿਹਾ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਆਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
Such a Pandit is accepted in the Court of the Lord. ||3||
ਸਭਨਾਂਮਹਿਏਕੋਏਕੁਵਖਾਣੈ॥
ਹੇ ਪੰਡਿਤ! (ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਵੇਦ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੜਤਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ) ਇਹ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਕੋ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ।
He preaches that the One Lord is within all beings.
ਜਾਂਏਕੋਵੇਖੈਤਾਂਏਕੋਜਾਣੈ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਪੰਡਿਤ (ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
As he sees the One Lord, he knows the One Lord.
ਜਾਕਉਬਖਸੇਮੇਲੇਸੋਇ॥
ਪਰ, ਹੇ ਪੰਡਿਤ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ (ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ,
That person, whom the Lord forgives, is united with Him.
ਐਥੈਓਥੈਸਦਾਸੁਖੁਹੋਇ॥੪॥
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਸਦਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥
He finds eternal peace, here and hereafter. ||4||
ਕਹਤਨਾਨਕੁਕਵਨਬਿਧਿਕਰੇਕਿਆਕੋਇ॥
ਹੇ ਪੰਡਿਤ! ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਕਲ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ) ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਕੋਈ ਜੁਗਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਰਤ ਸਕਦਾ।
Says Nanak, what can anyone do?
ਸੋਈਮੁਕਤਿਜਾਕਉਕਿਰਪਾਹੋਇ॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹੀ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
He alone is liberated, whom the Lord blesses with His Grace.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁਹਰਿਗੁਣਗਾਵੈਸੋਇ॥
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
Night and day, he sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਬੇਦਕੀਫਿਰਿਕੂਕਨਹੋਇ॥੫॥੧॥੧੦॥
ਉਹ ਫਿਰ (ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਵਰਨ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੀ ਪਕਿਆਈ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ) ਵੇਦ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੀ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਦਾ ਹੋਕਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ॥੫॥੧॥੧੦॥
Then, he no longer bothers with the proclamations of the Shaastras or the Vedas. ||5||1||10||
ਮਲਾਰਮਹਲਾ੩॥
Malaar, Third Mahalaa:
ਭ੍ਰਮਿਭ੍ਰਮਿਜੋਨਿਮਨਮੁਖਭਰਮਾਈ॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਭਟਕਦਾ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
The self-willed manmukhs wander lost in reincarnation, confused and deluded by doubt.
ਜਮਕਾਲੁਮਾਰੇਨਿਤਪਤਿਗਵਾਈ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ (ਆਤਮਕ) ਮੌਤ ਮਾਰ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਗਵਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Messenger of Death constantly beats them and disgraces them.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਸੇਵਾਜਮਕੀਕਾਣਿਚੁਕਾਈ॥
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਜਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਥਾਜੀ ਮੁਕਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਉਹ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ),
Serving the True Guru, the mortal's subservience to Death is ended.
ਹਰਿਪ੍ਰਭੁਮਿਲਿਆਮਹਲੁਘਰੁਪਾਈ॥੧॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰੀ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਮਹਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
He meets the Lord God, and enters the Mansion of His Presence. ||1||
ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀਗੁਰਮੁਖਿਨਾਮੁਧਿਆਇ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰ।
O mortal, as Gurmukh, meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਜਨਮੁਪਦਾਰਥੁਦੁਬਿਧਾਖੋਇਆਕਉਡੀਬਦਲੈਜਾਇ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ) ਕੀਮਤੀ (ਮਨੁੱਖਾ) ਜਨਮ ਮਾਇਆ ਵਾਲੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਗਵਾ ਲਿਆ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਜਨਮ ਕੌਡੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਭਾ ਹੀ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
In duality, you are ruining and wasting this priceless human life. You trade it away in exchange for a shell. ||1||Pause||
ਕਰਿਕਿਰਪਾਗੁਰਮੁਖਿਲਗੈਪਿਆਰੁ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ (ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
The Gurmukh falls in love with the Lord, by His Grace.
ਅੰਤਰਿਭਗਤਿਹਰਿਹਰਿਉਰਿਧਾਰੁ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
He enshrines loving devotion to the Lord, Har, Har, deep within his heart.
ਭਵਜਲੁਸਬਦਿਲੰਘਾਵਣਹਾਰੁ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Word of the Shabad carries him across the terrifying world-ocean.
ਦਰਿਸਾਚੈਦਿਸੈਸਚਿਆਰੁ॥੨॥
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਸੁਰਖ਼ਰੂ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
He appears true in the True Court of the Lord. ||2||
ਬਹੁਕਰਮਕਰੇਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਨਹੀਪਾਇਆ॥
(ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੀਰਥ-ਜਾਤ੍ਰਾ ਆਦਿਕ ਮਿਥੇ ਹੋਏ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ) ਕਰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ,
Performing all sorts of rituals, they do not find the True Guru.
ਬਿਨੁਗੁਰਭਰਮਿਭੂਲੇਬਹੁਮਾਇਆ॥
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Without the Guru, so many wander lost and confused in Maya.
ਹਉਮੈਮਮਤਾਬਹੁਮੋਹੁਵਧਾਇਆ॥
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਮਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਹ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Egotism, possessiveness and attachment rise up and increase within them.
ਦੂਜੈਭਾਇਮਨਮੁਖਿਦੁਖੁਪਾਇਆ॥੩॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿਚ (ਫਸ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ) ਦੁੱਖ ਹੀ ਸਹਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥

ਆਪੇਕਰਤਾਅਗਮਅਥਾਹਾ॥
ਪਰ, ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਅਤੇ ਅਥਾਹ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਖੇਡ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ)।
The Creator Himself is Inaccessible and Infinite.
ਗੁਰਸਬਦੀਜਪੀਐਸਚੁਲਾਹਾ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ (ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਜਪਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ-ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਲਾਭ।
Chant the Word of the Guru's Shabad, and earn the true profit.
ਹਾਜਰੁਹਜੂਰਿਹਰਿਵੇਪਰਵਾਹਾ॥
ਉਹ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ-ਨਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਮੁਥਾਜੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
The Lord is Independent, Ever-present, here and now.
