ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਸਭ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਲਿਲਾਟਹਿਲੇਖ॥੫॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਮੱਥੇ ਦੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਲੇਖ ਉੱਘੜਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੫॥
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one has good destiny written on his forehead. ||5||
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਕੰਧੁਨਹੀਹਿਰੈ॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਸਰੀਰ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ) ਛਿੱਜਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ (ਭਾਵ, ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਵਿਰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੱਤਿਆ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ);
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, the wall of the body is not eroded.
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਦੇਹੁਰਾਫਿਰੈ॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਉੱਚੀ ਜਾਤ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੇ ਮਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਆਏ ਬੰਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਬਾਉ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੇ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੇਹੁਰਾ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਵਲ ਪਰਤ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਧੱਕੇ ਪਏ ਸਨ;
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, the temple turns itself towards the mortal.
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਤਛਾਪਰਿਛਾਈ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਪਏ ਗ਼ਰੀਬ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਆਪ ਬਹੁੜਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਲੀ ਬਣੀ ਸੀ;
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one's home is constructed.
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਸਿਹਜਨਿਕਸਾਈ॥੬॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਰੱਬ ਆਪ ਸਹਾਈ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਡਰਾਵੇ ਦੇਣ ਤੇ ਮੰਜਾ ਦਰਿਆ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕਢਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੬॥
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one's bed is lifted up out of the water. ||6||
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਤਅਠਸਠਿਨਾਇਆ॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਅਠਾਹਠ ਤੀਰਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ (ਜਾਣੋ),
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one has bathed at the sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage.
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਤਨਿਚਕ੍ਰਲਗਾਇਆ॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਸਰੀਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਲੱਗ ਗਏ ਸਮਝੋ (ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ਦੁਆਰਕਾ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ),
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one's body is stamped with the sacred mark of Vishnu.
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਤਦੁਆਦਸਸੇਵਾ॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਿਵ-ਲਿੰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਜਾਣੋ;
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one has performed the twelve devotional services.
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਸਭੈਬਿਖੁਮੇਵਾ॥੭॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਹਿਰ ਭੀ ਮਿੱਠੇ ਫਲ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੭॥
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, all poison is transformed into fruit. ||7||
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਤਸੰਸਾਟੂਟੈ॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਦਿਲ ਦੇ ਸੰਸੇ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, skepticism is shattered.
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਤਜਮਤੇਛੂਟੈ॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਜਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ (ਹੀ) ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ,
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one escapes from the Messenger of Death.
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਤਭਉਜਲਤਰੈ॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one crosses over the terrifying world-ocean.
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਤਜਨਮਿਨਮਰੈ॥੮॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੮॥
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one is not subject to the cycle of reincarnation. ||8||
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਅਠਦਸਬਿਉਹਾਰ॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਅਠਾਰਾਂ ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਕਰਮ-ਕਾਂਡ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ,
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one understands the rituals of the eighteen Puraanas.
ਜਉਗੁਰਦੇਉਅਠਾਰਹਭਾਰ॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਬਨਸਪਤੀ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਦੇਵ ਦੀ ਨਿੱਤ ਭੇਟ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਦਿੱਸ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ)।
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, it is as if one has made an offering of the eighteen loads of vegetation.
ਬਿਨੁਗੁਰਦੇਉਅਵਰਨਹੀਜਾਈ॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਥਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ (ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਸਹੀ ਰਸਤਾ ਲੱਭ ਸਕੇ),
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one needs no other place of rest.
ਨਾਮਦੇਉਗੁਰਕੀਸਰਣਾਈ॥੯॥੧॥੨॥੧੧॥

ੴਸਤਿਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ॥
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਬਿਨੁਦੇਖੇਉਪਜੈਨਹੀਆਸਾ॥
ਉਸ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ) ਤਾਂਘ ਪੈਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ, (ਇਸ ਦਿੱਸਦੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮੋਹ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ)
Without seeing something, the yearning for it does not arise.
ਜੋਦੀਸੈਸੋਹੋਇਬਿਨਾਸਾ॥
ਤੇ, ਇਹ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
Whatever is seen, shall pass away.
ਬਰਨਸਹਿਤਜੋਜਾਪੈਨਾਮੁ॥
ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਹੈ,
Whoever chants and praises the Naam, the Name of the Lord,
ਸੋਜੋਗੀਕੇਵਲਨਿਹਕਾਮੁ॥੧॥
ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹੀ ਅਸਲ ਜੋਗੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਕਾਮਨਾ-ਰਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
is the true Yogi, free of desire. ||1||
ਪਰਚੈਰਾਮੁਰਵੈਜਉਕੋਈ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
When someone utters the Name of the Lord with love,
ਪਾਰਸੁਪਰਸੈਦੁਬਿਧਾਨਹੋਈ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਪਾਰਸ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਛੁੰਹਦਾ ਹੈ (ਉਹ, ਮਾਨੋ, ਸੋਨਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ), ਤੇ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੇਰ-ਤੇਰ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
it is as if he has touched the philosopher's stone; his sense of duality is eradicated. ||1||Pause||
ਸੋਮੁਨਿਮਨਕੀਦੁਬਿਧਾਖਾਇ॥
(ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ) ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਅਸਲ) ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ (ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਮੇਰ-ਤੇਰ ਮਿਟਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
He alone is a silent sage, who destroys the duality of his mind.
ਬਿਨੁਦੁਆਰੇਤ੍ਰੈਲੋਕਸਮਾਇ॥
ਤੇ, ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਾਇਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਦਸ ਦੁਆਰਿਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਸਰੀਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
Keeping the doors of his body closed, he merges in the Lord of the three worlds.
ਮਨਕਾਸੁਭਾਉਸਭੁਕੋਈਕਰੈ॥
(ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਹਰੇਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦਾ ਸੁਭਾਉ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਹੈ,
Everyone acts according to the inclinations of the mind.
ਕਰਤਾਹੋਇਸੁਅਨਭੈਰਹੈ॥੨॥
(ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਪਰ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ, ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਕਰਤਾਰ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਡਰ ਭਉ ਨਹੀਂ ॥੨॥
Attuned to the Creator Lord, one remains free of fear. ||2||
ਫਲਕਾਰਨਫੂਲੀਬਨਰਾਇ॥
(ਜਗਤ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ) ਬਨਸਪਤੀ ਫਲ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਖਿੜਦੀ ਹੈ;
Plants blossom forth to produce fruit.
ਫਲੁਲਾਗਾਤਬਫੂਲੁਬਿਲਾਇ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਫਲ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਫੁੱਲ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
When the fruit is produced, the flowers wither away.
ਗਿਆਨੈਕਾਰਨਕਰਮਅਭਿਆਸੁ॥
ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਕਿਰਤ-ਕਾਰ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਹੈ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਚਣ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਉੱਚ-ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਝ ਲਈ ਹੈ),
For the sake of spiritual wisdom, people act and practice rituals.
ਗਿਆਨੁਭਇਆਤਹਕਰਮਹਨਾਸੁ॥੩॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਉੱਚ-ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਝ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਅੱਪੜ ਕੇ ਕਿਰਤ-ਕਾਰ ਦਾ (ਮਾਇਕ ਉੱਦਮਾਂ ਦਾ) ਮੋਹ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
When spiritual wisdom wells up, then actions are left behind. ||3||
ਘ੍ਰਿਤਕਾਰਨਦਧਿਮਥੈਸਇਆਨ॥
ਸਿਆਣੀ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਘਿਉ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਦਹੀਂ ਰਿੜਕਦੀ ਹੈ,
For the sake of ghee, wise people churn milk.
ਜੀਵਤਮੁਕਤਸਦਾਨਿਰਬਾਨ॥
(ਤਿਵੇਂ ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਚਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ-ਨਿਰਬਾਹ, ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਤ-ਕਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸੋ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਤ-ਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੀ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਵਾਸ਼ਨਾ-ਰਹਿਤ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Those who are Jivan-mukta, liberated while yet alive - are forever in the state of Nirvaanaa.
ਕਹਿਰਵਿਦਾਸਪਰਮਬੈਰਾਗ॥
ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੇ ਵੈਰਾਗ (ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ) ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ;
Says Ravi Daas, O you unfortunate people,
ਰਿਦੈਰਾਮੁਕੀਨਜਪਸਿਅਭਾਗ॥੪॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਗ-ਹੀਣ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਾ? ॥੪॥੧॥
why not meditate on the Lord with love in your heart? ||4||1||

ਆਉਕਲੰਦਰਕੇਸਵਾ॥

Come, O Lord of beautiful hair,
ਕਰਿਅਬਦਾਲੀਭੇਸਵਾ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਤੂੰ ਅਬਦਾਲੀ ਫ਼ਕੀਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਰਾਵਾ ਪਾ ਕੇ (ਆਇਆ ਹੈਂ); ਜੀ ਆਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ (ਆ, ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਮਸੀਤ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਬੈਠ) ॥ ਰਹਾਉ॥

ਜਿਨਿਆਕਾਸਕੁਲਹਸਿਰਿਕੀਨੀਕਉਸੈਸਪਤਪਯਾਲਾ॥
(ਹੇ ਕਲੰਦਰ! ਹੇ ਕੇਸ਼ਵ! ਤੂੰ ਆ, ਤੂੰ) ਜਿਸ ਨੇ (ਸੱਤ) ਅਸਮਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੱਲਾ (ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ) ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸੱਤ ਪਤਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਖੜਾਵਾਂ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
Your cap is the realm of the Akaashic ethers; the seven nether worlds are Your sandals.
ਚਮਰਪੋਸਕਾਮੰਦਰੁਤੇਰਾਇਹਬਿਧਿਬਨੇਗੁਪਾਲਾ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਕਲੰਦਰ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਆ-ਜੰਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਘਰ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਰੱਖਿਅਕ! ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈਂ ॥੧॥
The body covered with skin is Your temple; You are so beautiful, O Lord of the World. ||1||

(ਹੇ ਕਲੰਦਰ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਛਪੰਜਾ ਕਰੋੜ (ਮੇਘ ਮਾਲਾ) ਤੇਰਾ ਚੋਗ਼ਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋਲਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਆਲਮ ਤੇਰਾ ਤੰਬਾ ਹੈ;
The fifty-six million clouds are Your gowns, the 16,000 milkmaids are your skirts.
ਭਾਰਅਠਾਰਹਮੁਦਗਰੁਤੇਰਾਸਹਨਕਸਭਸੰਸਾਰਾ॥੨॥
ਹੇ ਕੇਸ਼ਵ! ਸਾਰੀ ਬਨਸਪਤੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਲੋਤਰ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਹਣਕੀ (ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੀ ਰਕੇਬੀ) ਹੈ ॥੨॥
The eighteen loads of vegetation is Your stick, and all the world is Your plate. ||2||
ਦੇਹੀਮਹਜਿਦਿਮਨੁਮਉਲਾਨਾਸਹਜਨਿਵਾਜਗੁਜਾਰੈ॥
(ਹੇ ਕਲੰਦਰ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਆ, ਮੇਰੀ ਮਸੀਤੇ ਆ) ਮੇਰਾ ਸਰੀਰ (ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ) ਮਸੀਤ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ (ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਾਂਗ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਮੁੱਲਾਂ ਹੈ, ਤੇ (ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ) ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੀ ਨਿਮਾਜ਼ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
The human body is the mosque, and the mind is the priest, who peacefully leads the prayer.
ਬੀਬੀਕਉਲਾਸਉਕਾਇਨੁਤੇਰਾਨਿਰੰਕਾਰਆਕਾਰੈ॥੩॥
ਹੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ! ਬੀਬੀ ਲੱਛਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਦਾਸੀ ਹੈ) ॥੩॥
You are married to Maya, O Formless Lord, and so You have taken form. ||3||
ਭਗਤਿਕਰਤਮੇਰੇਤਾਲਛਿਨਾਏਕਿਹਪਹਿਕਰਉਪੁਕਾਰਾ॥
(ਹੇ ਕਲੰਦਰ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕਢਾਇਆ, (ਤੈਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਹੋਰ) ਕਿਸ ਅੱਗੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਾਂ?
Performing devotional worship services to You, my cymbals were taken away; unto whom should I complain?
ਨਾਮੇਕਾਸੁਆਮੀਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀਫਿਰੇਸਗਲਬੇਦੇਸਵਾ॥੪॥੧॥
ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧॥
