ਪਰਨਾਰੀਸਿਉਘਾਲੈਧੰਧਾ॥
ਤੇ ਪਰਾਈ ਜ਼ਨਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਝਖਾਂ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
and has an affair with another woman.
ਜੈਸੇਸਿੰਬਲੁਦੇਖਿਸੂਆਬਿਗਸਾਨਾ॥
(ਪਰਾਈ ਨਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਇਉਂ ਹੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੋਤਾ ਸਿੰਬਲ ਰੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਪਰ ਉਸ ਸਿੰਬਲ ਤੋਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ);
He is like the parrot, who is pleased to see the simbal tree;
ਅੰਤਕੀਬਾਰਮੂਆਲਪਟਾਨਾ॥੧॥
ਆਖ਼ਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਵਿਕਾਰੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਇਸ ਵਿਕਾਰ) ਵਿਚ ਗ੍ਰਸਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
but in the end, he dies, stuck to it. ||1||
ਪਾਪੀਕਾਘਰੁਅਗਨੇਮਾਹਿ॥
ਵਿਕਾਰੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਅੱਗ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
The home of the sinner is on fire.
ਜਲਤਰਹੈਮਿਟਵੈਕਬਨਾਹਿ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜੋ ਅੱਗ ਸਦਾ ਬਲਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਕਦੇ ਬੁੱਝਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
It keeps burning, and the fire cannot be extinguished. ||1||Pause||
ਹਰਿਕੀਭਗਤਿਨਦੇਖੈਜਾਇ॥
ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ (ਵਿਕਾਰੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਦਾ,
He does not go to see where the Lord is being worshipped.
ਮਾਰਗੁਛੋਡਿਅਮਾਰਗਿਪਾਇ॥
(ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਧਾ) ਰਾਹ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ) ਉਲਟੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
He abandons the Lord's Path, and takes the wrong path.
ਮੂਲਹੁਭੂਲਾਆਵੈਜਾਇ॥
ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮੂਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਖੁੰਝ ਕੇ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
He forgets the Primal Lord God, and is caught in the cycle of reincarnation.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁਡਾਰਿਲਾਦਿਬਿਖੁਖਾਇ॥੨॥
ਨਾਮ-ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਡੋਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ) ਜ਼ਹਿਰ ਲੱਦ ਕੇ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
He throws away the Ambrosial Nectar, and gathers poison to eat. ||2||
ਜਿਉਬੇਸ੍ਵਾਕੇਪਰੈਅਖਾਰਾ॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਵੇਸਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਜਰੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
He is like the prostitute, who comes to dance,
ਕਾਪਰੁਪਹਿਰਿਕਰਹਿਸਂੀਗਾਰਾ॥
(ਸੁਹਣੀ ਸੁਹਣੀ) ਪੁਸ਼ਾਕ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਸਿੰਗਾਰ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
wearing beautiful clothes, decorated and adorned.
ਪੂਰੇਤਾਲਨਿਹਾਲੇਸਾਸ॥
ਵੇਸਵਾ ਨੱਚਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਬੜੇ ਗਹੁ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਲਦੀ ਹੈ,
She dances to the beat, exciting the breath of those who watch her.
ਵਾਕੇਗਲੇਜਮਕਾਹੈਫਾਸ॥੩॥
(ਬੱਸ, ਇਸ ਵਿਕਾਰੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ) ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗਲ ਵਿਚ ਜਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਫਾਹੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
But the noose of the Messenger of Death is around her neck. ||3||
ਜਾਕੇਮਸਤਕਿਲਿਖਿਓਕਰਮਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ (ਦਾ ਲੇਖ) ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਧੁਰੋਂ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ),
One who has good karma recorded on his forehead,
ਸੋਭਜਿਪਰਿਹੈਗੁਰਕੀਸਰਨਾ॥
ਉਹ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ) ਹਟ ਕੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
hurries to enter the Guru's Sanctuary.
ਕਹਤਨਾਮਦੇਉਇਹੁਬੀਚਾਰੁ॥
ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਇਹ ਇਕ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ,
Says Naam Dayv, consider this:
ਇਨਬਿਧਿਸੰਤਹੁਉਤਰਹੁਪਾਰਿ॥੪॥੨॥੮॥
ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਹੀ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਸਕੋਗੇ ॥੪॥੨॥੮॥
O Saints, this is the way to cross over to the other side. ||4||2||8||
ਸੰਡਾਮਰਕਾਜਾਇਪੁਕਾਰੇ॥ਪੜੈਨਹੀਹਮਹੀਪਚਿਹਾਰੇ॥
(ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਦੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਉਸਤਾਦ) ਸੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰਕ ਨੇ (ਹਰਨਾਖਸ਼ ਕੋਲ) ਜਾ ਕੇ ਫ਼ਰਿਆਦ ਕੀਤੀ-ਅਸੀਂ ਖਪ ਲੱਥੇ ਹਾਂ, ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਪੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
Sanda and Marka went and complained to Harnaakhash, "Your son does not read his lessons. We are tired of trying to teach him.
ਰਾਮੁਕਹੈਕਰਤਾਲਬਜਾਵੈਚਟੀਆਸਭੈਬਿਗਾਰੇ॥੧॥
ਉਹ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਲ ਵਜਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵਿਗਾੜ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
He chants the Lord's Name, clapping his hands to keep the beat; he has spoiled all the other students. ||1||
ਰਾਮਨਾਮਾਜਪਿਬੋਕਰੈ॥
(ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ) ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
He chants the Lord's Name,
ਹਿਰਦੈਹਰਿਜੀਕੋਸਿਮਰਨੁਧਰੈ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
and he has enshrined meditative remembrance of the Lord within his heart." ||1||Pause||
ਬਸੁਧਾਬਸਿਕੀਨੀਸਭਰਾਜੇਬਿਨਤੀਕਰੈਪਟਰਾਨੀ॥
(ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ) ਵੱਡੀ ਰਾਣੀ (ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਅੱਗੇ) ਤਰਲੇ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ (ਤੇ ਸਮਝਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ) ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਾ ਮੋੜ),
"Your father the king has conquered the whole world", said his mother the queen.
ਪੂਤੁਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦੁਕਹਿਆਨਹੀਮਾਨੈਤਿਨਿਤਉਅਉਰੈਠਾਨੀ॥੨॥
ਪਰ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ (ਮਾਂ ਦਾ) ਆਖਿਆ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਗੱਲ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪੱਕੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
"O Prahlad my son, you do not obey him, so he has decided to deal with you in another way." ||2||
ਦੁਸਟਸਭਾਮਿਲਿਮੰਤਰਉਪਾਇਆਕਰਸਹਅਉਧਘਨੇਰੀ॥
ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੁੰਡੀ ਨੇ ਰਲ ਕੇ ਸਲਾਹ ਕਰ ਲਈ-(ਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਤਾਂ) ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਵਾਂਗੇ;
The council of villains met and resolved to send Prahlaad into the life hereafter.
ਗਿਰਿਤਰਜਲਜੁਆਲਾਭੈਰਾਖਿਓਰਾਜਾਰਾਮਿਮਾਇਆਫੇਰੀ॥੩॥
ਪਰ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਸੁਭਾਉ ਹੀ ਬਦਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਨੂੰ) ਪਹਾੜ, ਰੁੱਖ, ਪਾਣੀ, ਅੱਗ (ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦੇ) ਡਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ ॥੩॥
Prahlaad was thrown off a mountain, into the water, and into a fire, but the Sovereign Lord God saved him, by changing the laws of nature. ||3||
ਕਾਢਿਖੜਗੁਕਾਲੁਭੈਕੋਪਿਓਮੋਹਿਬਤਾਉਜੁਤੁਹਿਰਾਖੈ॥
(ਹੁਣ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਡਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ (ਪਰ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ) ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਮੌਤ-ਰੂਪ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ (ਬੋਲਿਆ-) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ (ਇਸ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
Harnaakhash thundered with rage and threatened to kill Prahlaad. "Tell me, who can save you?"
ਪੀਤਪੀਤਾਂਬਰਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣਧਣੀਥੰਭਮਾਹਿਹਰਿਭਾਖੈ॥੪॥
(ਅੱਗੋਂ) ਪੀਲੇ ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਭਵਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਵਿਚ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥
Prahlaad answered, "The Lord, the Master of the three worlds, is contained even in this pillar to which I am tied." ||4||
ਹਰਨਾਖਸੁਜਿਨਿਨਖਹਬਿਦਾਰਿਓਸੁਰਿਨਰਕੀਏਸਨਾਥਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਹਰਨਾਖ਼ਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੁੰਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਚੀਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਢਾਰਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ,
The Lord who tore Harnaakhash apart with His nails proclaimed Himself the Lord of gods and men.
ਕਹਿਨਾਮਦੇਉਹਮਨਰਹਰਿਧਿਆਵਹਰਾਮੁਅਭੈਪਦਦਾਤਾ॥੫॥੩॥੯॥
ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਭੀ ਉਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ; ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਨਿਰਭੈਤਾ ਦਾ ਦਰਜਾ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੫॥੩॥੯॥
Says Naam Dayv, I meditate on the Lord, the Man-lion, the Giver of fearless dignity. ||5||3||9||
ਸੁਲਤਾਨੁਪੂਛੈਸੁਨੁਬੇਨਾਮਾ॥
(ਮੁਹੰਮਦ-ਬਿਨ-ਤੁਗ਼ਲਕ) ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਪੁੱਛਦਾ ਹੈ-ਹੇ ਨਾਮੇ! ਸੁਣ,
The Sultan said, "Listen, Naam Dayv:
ਦੇਖਉਰਾਮਤੁਮੑਾਰੇਕਾਮਾ॥੧॥
ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਵੇਖਣੇ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥
let me see the actions of your Lord." ||1||
ਨਾਮਾਸੁਲਤਾਨੇਬਾਧਿਲਾ॥
ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ (ਨਾਮੇ ਨੂੰ) ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਲਿਆ,
The Sultan arrested Naam Dayv,
ਦੇਖਉਤੇਰਾਹਰਿਬੀਠੁਲਾ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
(ਤੇ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗਾ-) ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਹਰੀ, ਤੇਰਾ ਬੀਠਲੁ, ਵੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
and said, "Let me see your Beloved Lord." ||1||Pause||
ਬਿਸਮਿਲਿਗਊਦੇਹੁਜੀਵਾਇ॥
(ਮੇਰੀ ਇਹ) ਮੋਈ ਹੋਈ ਗਾਂ ਜਿਵਾਲ ਦੇਹ,
"Bring this dead cow back to life.
ਨਾਤਰੁਗਰਦਨਿਮਾਰਉਠਾਂਇ॥੨॥
ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੀ (ਹੁਣੇ ਹੀ) ਮਾਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ॥੨॥
Otherwise, I shall cut off your head here and now." ||2||
ਬਾਦਿਸਾਹਐਸੀਕਿਉਹੋਇ॥
(ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ-) ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ! ਅਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ?
Naam Dayv answered, "O king, how can this happen?
ਬਿਸਮਿਲਿਕੀਆਨਜੀਵੈਕੋਇ॥੩॥
ਕਦੇ ਕੋਈ ਮੋਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਮੁੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੀਵਿਆ ॥੩॥
No one can bring the dead back to life. ||3||
ਮੇਰਾਕੀਆਕਛੂਨਹੋਇ॥
(ਤੇ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਗੱਲ ਭੀ ਹੈ) ਮੇਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ।
I cannot do anything by my own actions.
ਕਰਿਹੈਰਾਮੁਹੋਇਹੈਸੋਇ॥੪॥
ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥
Whatever the Lord does, that alone happens." ||4||
ਬਾਦਿਸਾਹੁਚੜਿੑਓਅਹੰਕਾਰਿ॥
ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ (ਇਹ ਉੱਤਰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ) ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਆਇਆ,
The arrogant king was enraged at this reply.
ਗਜਹਸਤੀਦੀਨੋਚਮਕਾਰਿ॥੫॥
ਉਸ ਨੇ (ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ) ਇਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਾਥੀ ਚਮਕਾ ਕੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੫॥
He incited an elephant to attack. ||5||
ਰੁਦਨੁਕਰੈਨਾਮੇਕੀਮਾਇ॥
(ਮੇਰੀ) ਨਾਮੇ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਰੋਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਈ,
Naam Dayv's mother began to cry,
ਛੋਡਿਰਾਮੁਕੀਨਭਜਹਿਖੁਦਾਇ॥੬॥
(ਤੇ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗੀ-ਹੇ ਬੱਚਾ!) ਤੂੰ ਰਾਮ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ? ॥੬॥
and she said, "Why don't you abandon your Lord Raam, and worship his Lord Allah?" ||6||
ਨਹਉਤੇਰਾਪੂੰਗੜਾਨਤੂਮੇਰੀਮਾਇ॥
(ਮੈਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ-) ਨਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਾਂ, ਨਾ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਹੈਂ;
Naam Dayv answered, "I am not your son, and you are not my mother.
ਪਿੰਡੁਪੜੈਤਉਹਰਿਗੁਨਗਾਇ॥੭॥
ਜੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਭੀ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ, ਤਾਂ ਭੀ ਨਾਮਾ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ ॥੭॥
Even if my body dies, I will still sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord." ||7||
ਕਰੈਗਜਿੰਦੁਸੁੰਡਕੀਚੋਟ॥
ਹਾਥੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੁੰਡ ਦੀ ਚੋਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
The elephant attacked him with his trunk,
ਨਾਮਾਉਬਰੈਹਰਿਕੀਓਟ॥੮॥
ਪਰ ਨਾਮਾ ਬਚ ਨਿਕਲਦਾ ਹੈ; ਨਾਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ ॥੮॥
but Naam Dayv was saved, protected by the Lord. ||8||
ਕਾਜੀਮੁਲਾਂਕਰਹਿਸਲਾਮੁ॥
(ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਹੈ-) ਮੈਨੂੰ (ਮੇਰੇ ਮਜ਼ਹਬ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ) ਕਾਜ਼ੀ ਤੇ ਮੌਲਵੀ ਤਾਂ ਸਲਾਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
The king said, "The Qazis and the Mullahs bow down to me,
ਇਨਿਹਿੰਦੂਮੇਰਾਮਲਿਆਮਾਨੁ॥੯॥
ਪਰ ਇਸ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਣ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੯॥

ਬਾਦਿਸਾਹਬੇਨਤੀਸੁਨੇਹੁ॥
(ਹਿੰਦੂ ਲੋਕ ਰਲ ਕੇ ਆਏ, ਤੇ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗੇ,) ਹੇ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ! ਅਸਾਡੀ ਅਰਜ਼ ਸੁਣ,
