ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੧ ਘਰੁ ੬ ॥

सूही महला १ घरु ६ ॥
Suji, Mejl Guru Nanak, Primer Canal Divino.
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Un Dios Creador del Universo, por la Gracia del Verdadero Guru
ਉਜਲੁ ਕੈਹਾ ਚਿਲਕਣਾ ਘੋਟਿਮ ਕਾਲੜੀ ਮਸੁ ॥
ਮੈਂ ਕੈਂਹ (ਦਾ) ਸਾਫ਼ ਤੇ ਲਿਸ਼ਕਵਾਂ (ਭਾਂਡਾ) ਘਸਾਇਆ (ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਮਾੜੀ ਮਾੜੀ ਕਾਲੀ ਸਿਆਹੀ (ਲੱਗ ਗਈ)।
Bronze is bright and shiny, but when it is rubbed, its blackness appears.
उजलु कैहा चिलकणा घोटिम कालड़ी मसु ॥
El bronce brilla y destella, pero frótalo y le aparecerán manchas
ਧੋਤਿਆ ਜੂਠਿ ਨ ਉਤਰੈ ਜੇ ਸਉ ਧੋਵਾ ਤਿਸੁ ॥੧॥
ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਸੌ ਵਾਰੀ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਕੈਂਹ ਦੇ ਭਾਂਡੇ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਵਾਂ (ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਾਂ) ਤਾਂ ਭੀ (ਬਾਹਰੋਂ) ਧੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੀ (ਅੰਦਰਲੀ) ਜੂਠ (ਕਾਲਖ) ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ॥੧॥
Washing it, its impurity is not removed, even if it is washed a hundred times. ||1||
धोतिआ जूठि न उतरै जे सउ धोवा तिसु ॥१॥
y por más que lo limpies no dejará de mostrar impurezas. (1)
ਸਜਣ ਸੇਈ ਨਾਲਿ ਮੈ ਚਲਦਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ ਚਲੰਨਿੑ ॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਅਸਲ ਮਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਉਹੀ ਹਨ ਜੋ (ਸਦਾ) ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣ, ਤੇ (ਇਥੋਂ) ਤੁਰਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਭੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਚੱਲਣ,
They alone are my friends, who travel along with me;
सजण सेई नालि मै चलदिआ नालि चलंनि ॥
Sólo los que viajan conmigo son mis amigos y ahí,
ਜਿਥੈ ਲੇਖਾ ਮੰਗੀਐ ਤਿਥੈ ਖੜੇ ਦਿਸੰਨਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
(ਅਗਾਂਹ) ਜਿਥੇ (ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ) ਹਿਸਾਬ ਮੰਗਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਥੇ ਅਝੱਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਕਣ (ਭਾਵ, ਹਿਸਾਬ ਦੇਣ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੋ ਸਕਣ) ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
and in that place, where the accounts are called for, they appear standing with me. ||1||Pause||
जिथै लेखा मंगीऐ तिथै खड़े दिसंनि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
donde uno entrega cuentas, permanecen junto a mí. (1-Pausa)
ਕੋਠੇ ਮੰਡਪ ਮਾੜੀਆ ਪਾਸਹੁ ਚਿਤਵੀਆਹਾ ॥
ਜੇਹੜੇ ਘਰ ਮੰਦਰ ਮਹਲ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਤਾਂ ਚਿੱਤਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਣ,
There are houses, mansions and tall buildings, painted on all sides;
कोठे मंडप माड़ीआ पासहु चितवीआहा ॥
Nuestras casas, mansiones y rascacielos podrán ser decorados por fuera,
ਢਠੀਆ ਕੰਮਿ ਨ ਆਵਨੑੀ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਸਖਣੀਆਹਾ ॥੨॥
ਪਰ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਖ਼ਾਲੀ ਹੋਣ, (ਉਹ ਢਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ) ਢੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੇ ॥੨॥
but they are empty within, and they crumble like useless ruins. ||2||
ढठीआ कंमि न आवनी विचहु सखणीआहा ॥२॥
pero estando vacíos por dentro se desmoronan como ruinas inútiles. (2)
ਬਗਾ ਬਗੇ ਕਪੜੇ ਤੀਰਥ ਮੰਝਿ ਵਸੰਨਿੑ ॥
ਬਗਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਟੇ ਖੰਭ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਵੱਸਦੇ ਭੀ ਉਹ ਤੀਰਥਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਹੀ ਹਨ।
The herons in their white feathers dwell in the sacred shrines of pilgrimage.
बगा बगे कपड़े तीरथ मंझि वसंनि ॥
La garza de blanco plumaje, habita en lugares santos de peregrinaje,
ਘੁਟਿ ਘੁਟਿ ਜੀਆ ਖਾਵਣੇ ਬਗੇ ਨਾ ਕਹੀਅਨਿੑ ॥੩॥
ਪਰ ਜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ (ਗਲੋਂ) ਘੁੱਟ ਘੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਖਾ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ (ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਸਾਫ਼ ਸੁਥਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ॥੩॥
They tear apart and eat the living beings, and so they are not called white. ||3||
घुटि घुटि जीआ खावणे बगे ना कहीअनि ॥३॥
pero devora con avidez criaturas vivas. ¿Cómo entonces proclamar su pureza?(3)
ਸਿੰਮਲ ਰੁਖੁ ਸਰੀਰੁ ਮੈ ਮੈਜਨ ਦੇਖਿ ਭੁਲੰਨਿੑ ॥
(ਜਿਵੇਂ) ਸਿੰਬਲ ਦਾ ਰੁੱਖ (ਹੈ ਤਿਵੇਂ) ਮੇਰਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਹੈ, (ਸਿੰਬਲ ਦੇ ਫਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਤੋਤੇ ਭੁਲੇਖਾ ਖਾ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
My body is like the simmal tree; seeing me, other people are fooled.
सिंमल रुखु सरीरु मै मैजन देखि भुलंनि ॥
Mi cuerpo es como el árbol de Simmal y viéndome la gente se engaña,
ਸੇ ਫਲ ਕੰਮਿ ਨ ਆਵਨੑੀ ਤੇ ਗੁਣ ਮੈ ਤਨਿ ਹੰਨਿੑ ॥੪॥
(ਸਿੰਬਲ ਦੇ) ਉਹ ਫਲ (ਤੋਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ) ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੇ, ਉਹੋ ਜੇਹੇ ਹੀ ਗੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਹਨ ॥੪॥
Its fruits are useless - just like the qualities of my body. ||4||
से फल कंमि न आवनी ते गुण मै तनि हंनि ॥४॥
sus frutos no sirven, así como las virtudes de mi cuerpo.(4)
ਅੰਧੁਲੈ ਭਾਰੁ ਉਠਾਇਆ ਡੂਗਰ ਵਾਟ ਬਹੁਤੁ ॥
ਮੈਂ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਨੇ (ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ) ਭਾਰ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, (ਅਗਾਂਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਜੀਵਨ-ਪੰਧ) ਬੜਾ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਰਸਤਾ ਹੈ।
The blind man is carrying such a heavy load, and his journey through the mountains is so long.
अंधुलै भारु उठाइआ डूगर वाट बहुतु ॥
El ciego carga un peso cuesta arriba por un largo y sinuoso camino,
ਅਖੀ ਲੋੜੀ ਨਾ ਲਹਾ ਹਉ ਚੜਿ ਲੰਘਾ ਕਿਤੁ ॥੫॥
ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਲਿਆਂ ਭੀ ਮੈਂ ਰਾਹ-ਖਹਿੜਾ ਲੱਭ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿਚ) ਕਿਸ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ (ਪਹਾੜੀ ਤੇ) ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾਂ? ॥੫॥
My eyes can see, but I cannot find the Way. How can I climb up and cross over the mountain? ||5||
अखी लोड़ी ना लहा हउ चड़ि लंघा कितु ॥५॥
pero sin ojos para ver, ¿cómo puede alcanzar su destino final?(5)
ਚਾਕਰੀਆ ਚੰਗਿਆਈਆ ਅਵਰ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਕਿਤੁ ॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਪਹਾੜੀ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਬਿਖੜੇ ਜੀਵਨ-ਪੰਧ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਣ ਲਈ) ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਾਮਦਾਂ, ਲੋਕ-ਵਿਖਾਵੇ ਤੇ ਚਲਾਕੀਆਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ।
What good does it do to serve, and be good, and be clever?
चाकरीआ चंगिआईआ अवर सिआणप कितु ॥
¿Qué bienestar trae servir, ser bueno, pero astuto?,
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮਾਲਿ ਤੂੰ ਬਧਾ ਛੁਟਹਿ ਜਿਤੁ ॥੬॥੧॥੩॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਸਾਂਭ ਕੇ ਰੱਖ। (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ) ਬੱਝਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਨਾਮ (-ਸਿਮਰਨ) ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ (ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਪਾ ਸਕੇਂਗਾ ॥੬॥੧॥੩॥
O Nanak, contemplate the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and you shall be released from bondage. ||6||1||3||
नानक नामु समालि तूं बधा छुटहि जितु ॥६॥१॥३॥
oh, dice Nanak, medita en el Naam, el Nombre del Señor y serás liberado de tus amarras. (6-1-3)

ਜਪ ਤਪ ਕਾ ਬੰਧੁ ਬੇੜੁਲਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਲੰਘਹਿ ਵਹੇਲਾ ॥
(ਹੇ ਜੀਵਨ-ਸਫ਼ਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀ!) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਜੇਹਾ ਬੇੜਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰ, ਜਿਸ (ਬੇੜੇ) ਵਿਚ ਤੂੰ (ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਛੇਤੀ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ।
Build the raft of meditation and self-discipline, to carry you across the river.
जप तप का बंधु बेड़ुला जितु लंघहि वहेला ॥
Construye la barca a través de la meditación y la disciplina para que te lleve a través del río.
ਨਾ ਸਰਵਰੁ ਨਾ ਊਛਲੈ ਐਸਾ ਪੰਥੁ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ॥੧॥
(ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਤੇਰਾ ਜੀਵਨ-ਰਸਤਾ ਐਸਾ ਸੌਖਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਇਗਾ ਕਿ (ਤੇਰੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿਚ) ਨਾਹ ਇਹ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-) ਸਰੋਵਰ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਹ ਹੀ (ਇਸ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ) ਉਛਾਲੇ ਮਾਰੇਗਾ ॥੧॥
There will be no ocean, and no rising tides to stop you; this is how comfortable your path shall be. ||1||
ना सरवरु ना ऊछलै ऐसा पंथु सुहेला ॥१॥
No habrá océano ni grandes olas que enfrentar, así de suave será el Sendero. (1)
ਤੇਰਾ ਏਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੰਜੀਠੜਾ ਰਤਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਚੋਲਾ ਸਦ ਰੰਗ ਢੋਲਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਹੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ (-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਮਜੀਠ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਪੱਕੇ ਰੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ (ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ) ਚੋਲਾ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Your Name alone is the color, in which the robe of my body is dyed. This color is permanent, O my Beloved. ||1||Pause||
तेरा एको नामु मंजीठड़ा रता मेरा चोला सद रंग ढोला ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Oh Amor, con Tu Nombre tiñe la ropa de mi cuerpo con Tu Eterno Color, como el carmesí. (1-Pausa)
ਸਾਜਨ ਚਲੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ਕਿਉ ਮੇਲਾ ਹੋਈ ॥
ਹੇ ਸੱਜਣ! ਜੀਵਨ-ਸਫ਼ਰ ਦੇ ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪਾਂਧੀ! (ਕੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ?
My beloved friends have departed; how will they meet the Lord?
साजन चले पिआरिआ किउ मेला होई ॥
Los amigos han salido en busca de Tu Amor, pero, ¿cómo podrán ellos encontrarlo?
ਜੇ ਗੁਣ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਗੰਠੜੀਐ ਮੇਲੇਗਾ ਸੋਈ ॥੨॥
(ਵੇਖ!) ਜੇ ਪੱਲੇ ਗੁਣ ਹੋਣ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ) ਮਿਲਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
If they have virtue in their pack, the Lord will unite them with Himself. ||2||
जे गुण होवहि गंठड़ीऐ मेलेगा सोई ॥२॥
Sólo si han adquirido el Mérito, el Señor los unirá con Su ser. (2)
ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੋਇ ਨ ਵੀਛੁੜੈ ਜੇ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੋਈ ॥
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਜੀਵ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜ ਜਾਏ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਸਚ-ਮੁਚ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਕਦੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਵਿਛੁੜਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
Once united with Him, they will not be separated again, if they are truly united.
मिलिआ होइ न वीछुड़ै जे मिलिआ होई ॥
Si uno está unido con el Espíritu, ya no puede ser separado, y nuestro ir y venir cesa.
ਆਵਾ ਗਉਣੁ ਨਿਵਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ ਸਾਚਾ ਸੋਈ ॥੩॥
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਗੇੜ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
The True Lord brings their comings and goings to an end. ||3||
आवा गउणु निवारिआ है साचा सोई ॥३॥
Tal es la Verdad de nuestro Señor. (3)
ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰਿ ਨਿਵਾਰਿਆ ਸੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਚੋਲਾ ॥
ਜਿਸ ਜੀਵ ਨੇ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਾ-ਭਾਵ ਦੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਆਪਣਾ ਆਪਾ ਸੰਵਾਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ,
One who subdues and eradicates egotism, sews the robe of devotion.
हउमै मारि निवारिआ सीता है चोला ॥
Aquél que domina su ego, se teje para sí mismo una túnica piadosa.
ਗੁਰ ਬਚਨੀ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਹ ਕੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬੋਲਾ ॥੪॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਫਲ ਵਜੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਬੋਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹਨ ॥੪॥
Following the Word of the Guru's Teachings, she receives the fruits of her reward, the Ambrosial Words of the Lord. ||4||
गुर बचनी फलु पाइआ सह के अंम्रित बोला ॥४॥
A través de la Palabra del Shabd del Guru, obtiene el Néctar de la Palabra del Shabd del Señor.(4)
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਕਹੈ ਸਹੇਲੀਹੋ ਸਹੁ ਖਰਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ-ਹੇ ਸਤਸੰਗੀ ਸਹੇਲੀਹੋ! (ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਲੱਗਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
Says Nanak, O soul-brides, our Husband Lord is so dear!
नानकु कहै सहेलीहो सहु खरा पिआरा ॥
Dice Nanak, oh compañeros, nuestro Señor es en verdad Amoroso,
ਹਮ ਸਹ ਕੇਰੀਆ ਦਾਸੀਆ ਸਾਚਾ ਖਸਮੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥੫॥੨॥੪॥
(ਫਿਰ ਇਉਂ ਯਕੀਨ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਅਸੀਂ ਖਸਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਹਾਂ, ਤੇ ਉਹ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਦਾ ਸਾਡੇ (ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ) ਕਾਇਮ ਹੈ ॥੫॥੨॥੪॥
We are the servants, the hand-maidens of the Lord; He is our True Lord and Master. ||5||2||4||
हम सह केरीआ दासीआ साचा खसमु हमारा ॥५॥२॥४॥
somos como Sus damiselas, Él es eternamente nuestro Esposo Verdadero.(5-2-4)

(ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਜੀਵਾਂ) ਨੂੰ (ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਰੂਪ) ਭਾਂਡੇ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ (ਦੀ ਭਿੱਛਿਆ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ), (ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਬਣਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Those whose minds are filled with love of the Lord, are blessed and exalted.
जिन कउ भांडै भाउ तिना सवारसी ॥
Aquéllos en cuya mente está el Amor del Señor, bendecidos son con el Éxtasis
ਸੂਖੀ ਕਰੈ ਪਸਾਉ ਦੂਖ ਵਿਸਾਰਸੀ ॥
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਭੁਲਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
They are blessed with peace, and their pains are forgotten.
सूखी करै पसाउ दूख विसारसी ॥
y anuladas son sus aflicciones.
ਸਹਸਾ ਮੂਲੇ ਨਾਹਿ ਸਰਪਰ ਤਾਰਸੀ ॥੧॥
ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਵਿਚ ਰਤਾ ਭੀ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਅਜੇਹੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
He will undoubtedly, certainly save them. ||1||
सहसा मूले नाहि सरपर तारसी ॥१॥
No tienen duda alguna de que van a ser redimidos. (1)
ਤਿਨੑਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਗੁਰੁ ਆਇ ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਲੀਖਿਆ ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ (ਧੁਰੋਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਦਾ) ਲੇਖ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਆ ਕੇ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Guru comes to meet those whose destiny is so pre-ordained.
तिना मिलिआ गुरु आइ जिन कउ लीखिआ ॥
Es por un Destino escrito por Dios Mismo que uno llega al encuentro con el Guru.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ ਦੇਵੈ ਦੀਖਿਆ ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
He blesses them with the Teachings of the Ambrosial Name of the Lord.
अंम्रितु हरि का नाउ देवै दीखिआ ॥
Así uno es bendecido con el Nombre Ambrosial del Señor,
ਚਾਲਹਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਭਾਇ ਭਵਹਿ ਨ ਭੀਖਿਆ ॥੨॥
ਉਹ ਬੰਦੇ (ਜੀਵਨ-ਸਫ਼ਰ ਵਿਚ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਤੁਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੇ (ਹੋਰ ਹੋਰ ਪਾਸੇ) ਭਟਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਫਿਰਦੇ ॥੨॥
Those who walk in the Will of the True Guru, never wander begging. ||2||
चालहि सतिगुर भाइ भवहि न भीखिआ ॥२॥
y caminando en la Voluntad del Guru, no vaga más pidiendo limosnas de beatitud. (2)
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਮਹਲੁ ਹਜੂਰਿ ਦੂਜੇ ਨਿਵੈ ਕਿਸੁ ॥
(ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ) ਜਿਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਥਾਂ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਤਰਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ।
And one who lives in the Mansion of the Lord's Presence, why should he bow down to any other?
जा कउ महलु हजूरि दूजे निवै किसु ॥
Aquél que vive en la Presencia del Señor, ¿por qué debe postrarse ante otro?
ਦਰਿ ਦਰਵਾਣੀ ਨਾਹਿ ਮੂਲੇ ਪੁਛ ਤਿਸੁ ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਤੇ (ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੂੰ ਜਮ ਆਦਿਕ) ਦਰਬਾਨਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਰਤਾ ਭਰ ਭੀ ਪੁੱਛ-ਗਿੱਛ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ,
The gate-keeper at the Lord's Gate shall not stop him to ask any questions.
दरि दरवाणी नाहि मूले पुछ तिसु ॥
Desde la Puerta del Señor él es escoltado hasta Su Corte.
ਛੁਟੈ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਬੋਲਿ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨਦਰਿ ਜਿਸੁ ॥੩॥
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਉਤੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਵਿਚ (ਚੱਲ ਕੇ) ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
And one who is blessed with the Lord's Glance of Grace - by his words, others are emancipated as well. ||3||
छुटै ता कै बोलि साहिब नदरि जिसु ॥३॥
Uno es redimido a través de la Palabra del Shabd de aquel ser que tiene la Gracia de Dios consigo. (3)
ਘਲੇ ਆਣੇ ਆਪਿ ਜਿਸੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਦੂਜਾ ਮਤੈ ਕੋਇ ॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋਈ ਮੱਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਭੇਜਦਾ ਹੈ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਸ ਸੱਦ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Lord Himself sends out, and recalls the mortal beings; no one else gives Him advice.
घले आणे आपि जिसु नाही दूजा मतै कोइ ॥
El Señor es Quien nos manda al mundo y haciéndolo, no toma consejo de nadie más.
ਢਾਹਿ ਉਸਾਰੇ ਸਾਜਿ ਜਾਣੈ ਸਭ ਸੋਇ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ-ਰਚਨਾ ਢਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਸਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
He Himself demolishes, constructs and creates; He knows everything.
ढाहि उसारे साजि जाणै सभ सोइ ॥
Él es Quien construye y destruye todo y conoce el estado íntimo de todos;
ਨਾਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਖਸੀਸ ਨਦਰੀ ਕਰਮੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੪॥੩॥੫॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਮੇਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਵਜੋਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੩॥੫॥
O Nanak, the Naam, the Name of the Lord is the blessing, given to those who receive His Mercy, and His Grace. ||4||3||5||
नाउ नानक बखसीस नदरी करमु होइ ॥४॥३॥५॥
Él es Quien nos bendice con Su Nombre, oh, dice Nanak, el Nombre del Señor es la Bendición dada a quienes reciben Su Misericordia y Su Gracia. (4-3-5)
