ਹਰ ਕਸ ਸ਼ਨੀਦਾ ਅਸਤ ਜ਼ਿ ਤੂ ਗ਼ੁਫ਼ਤਗੂਇ ਖ਼ਾਸ ।
ਜਿਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੁਹਬਤ ਵਿਚ ਤੇਰੀ ਗਲ ਸੁਣੀ ਹੈ,
Remembrance of Akaalpurakh is the repository of contentment and faith;
हर कस शनीदा असत ज़ि तू ग़ुफ़तगूइ क़ास ।
ਅਜ਼ ਸਦ ਗ਼ਮਿ ਸ਼ਦੀਦ ਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਜ਼ੂਦ ਤਰ ਖ਼ਲਾਸ ।੪੨।੧।
ਉਹ ਸੈਣਕੜੇ ਸਖਤ ਗਮਾਣ ਤੋਣ ਦਮਾਣ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ।
And even a beggar who practices to meditate on Him feels elated like a king would with his pomp and powers. (43)
अज़ सद ग़मि शदीद शुदा ज़ूद तर क़लास ।४२।१।
ਆਬਿ ਹਯੱਾਤਿ ਮਾ ਸਖ਼ੁਨਿ ਪੀਰਿ ਕਾਮਿਲ ਅਸਤ ।
ਪੂਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਮਿਲ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈ,
They, the noble souls, are always euphoric while in His meditation day and night,
आबि हयाति मा सक़ुनि पीरि कामिल असत ।
ਦਿਲਹਾਇ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਰਾ ਬਿਕੁਨਦ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਓ ਖ਼ਲਾਸ ।੪੨।੨।
ਇਹ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਦਿਲਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ।
For them, His meditation is real meditation and his remembrance a real remembrance. (44)
दिलहाइ मुरदा रा बिकुनद ज़िंदा ओ क़लास ।४२।२।
ਅਜ਼ ਖ਼ੁਦ-ਨਮਾਈਏ ਤੂ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਹਸਤ ਦੂਰ ਤਰ ।
ਤੇਰੇ ਹਉਮੈ ਦੇ ਦਿਖਾਵੇ ਤੋਣ ਤਾਣ ਰੱਬ ਕੋਹਾਣ ਦੂਰ ਹੈ,
What is kingship and mendicancy? Understand that
अज़ क़ुद-नमाईए तू क़ुदा हसत दूर तर ।
ਬੀਨੀ ਦਰੂਨਿ ਖ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸ਼ਵੀ ਅਜ਼ ਖ਼ੁਦੀ ਖ਼ਲਾਸ ।੪੨।੩।
ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਝਾਤੀ ਮਾਰੇਣ, ਤਾਣ ਹਉਮੈ ਤੋਣ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਣ ।
It is the memory of the Creator of the human beings and souls. (45)
बीनी दरूनि क़ेश शवी अज़ क़ुदी क़लास ।४२।३।
ਚੂੰ ਸਾਲਕਾਨਿ ਖ਼ੁਦਾਇ ਰਾ ਬਾ ਕੁਨੀ ਤੂ ਖ਼ਿਦਮਤੇ ।
ਜੇਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਧਰਮੀ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੇਂ
If God's remembrance becomes a close friend of your life,
चूं सालकानि क़ुदाइ रा बा कुनी तू क़िदमते ।
ਅਜ਼ ਕੈਦਿ ਗ਼ਮਿ ਜਹਾਂ ਬ-ਸ਼ਵਦ ਜਾਨਿ ਤੋ ਖ਼ਲਾਸ ।੪੨।੪।
ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਫਿਕਰਾਂ ਤੋਾ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ ।
Then, both the worlds would fall under your command. (46)
अज़ कैदि ग़मि जहां ब-शवद जानि तो क़लास ।४२।४।
ਗੋਯਾ ਤੂ ਦਸਤਿ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਰਾ ਅਜ਼ ਹਿਰਸ ਕੋਤਾਹ ਕੁਨ ।
ਹੇ ਗੋਯਾ # ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਹਿਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਤੋਣ ਖਿਚ ਲੈ,
There is a great adulation and praise in remembering Him
गोया तू दसति क़ुदा रा अज़ हिरस कोताह कुन ।
ਤਾ ਅੰਦਰੂਨਿ ਖ਼ਾਨਾ ਬੀਨੀ ਖ਼ੁਦਾਇ ਖ਼ਾਸ ।੪੨।੫।
ਤਾਣ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਮਹਾਨ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਜਲਵੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਸਕੇਣ ।
Therefore, we should meditate on His Naam; in fact, we should only remember Him. (47)
ता अंदरूनि क़ाना बीनी क़ुदाइ क़ास ।४२।५।
