ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਕੋਸ਼ ਅਰਥ ਵੇਖੋ
ਦਸਹਜਾਰਹੈਵਰਹਨਿਡਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਦਸ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਘੋੜੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ
दस हजार हैवर हनि डारियो ॥
ਬੀਸਹਜਾਰਹਾਥਯਹਿਮਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਅਤੇ ਵੀਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਹਾਥੀ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ।
Ten thousand horses were dead and twenty thousand elephants gotlaughtered.
बीस हजार हाथयहि मारियो ॥
ਏਕਲਛਰਾਜਾਰਥਘਾਯੋ॥
ਇਕ ਲੱਖ ਰਾਜੇ, ਰਥ ਆਦਿ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ
एक लछ राजा रथ घायो ॥
ਬਹੁਪੈਦਲਜਮਧਾਮਪਠਾਯੋ੨੬॥॥
ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੈਦਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਮ-ਲੋਕ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੨੬॥
One hundred thousand rulers were massacred and great number offootsoldiers were sent to the domain of death.(26)
