पउड़ी ॥
ਨੰਨਾਨਰਕਿਪਰਹਿਤੇਨਾਹੀ॥
ਉਹ ਘੋਰ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੋਏ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦੇ,
NANNA: Those whose minds and bodies are filled with the Naam,
नंना नरकि परहि ते नाही ॥
ਜਾਕੈਮਨਿਤਨਿਨਾਮੁਬਸਾਹੀ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਤਨ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਵੱਸਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
the Name of the Lord, shall not fall into hell.
जा कै मनि तनि नामु बसाही ॥
ਨਾਮੁਨਿਧਾਨੁਗੁਰਮੁਖਿਜੋਜਪਤੇ॥
ਜੇਹੜੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਜਪਦੇ ਹਨ,
Those Gurmukhs who chant the treasure of the Naam,
नामु निधानु गुरमुखि जो जपते ॥
ਬਿਖੁਮਾਇਆਮਹਿਨਾਓਇਖਪਤੇ॥
ਉਹ (ਫਿਰ) ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤੇ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਾਇਆ (ਦੇ ਮੋਹ) ਵਿਚ (ਦੌੜ-ਭਜ ਕਰਦੇ) ਨਹੀਂ ਖਪਦੇ।
are not destroyed by the poison of Maya.
बिखु माइआ महि ना ओइ खपते ॥
ਨੰਨਾਕਾਰੁਨਹੋਤਾਤਾਕਹੁ॥
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ-ਸਫ਼ਰ ਵਿਚ (ਮਾਇਆ) ਕੋਈ ਰੋਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੀ,
Those who have been given the Mantra of the Naam by the Guru,
नंनाकारु न होता ता कहु ॥
ਨਾਮੁਮੰਤ੍ਰੁਗੁਰਿਦੀਨੋਜਾਕਹੁ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਨਾਮ-ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
shall not be turned away.
नामु मंत्रु गुरि दीनो जा कहु ॥
ਨਿਧਿਨਿਧਾਨਹਰਿਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪੂਰੇ॥
ਜੇਹੜੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਸਭ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਹਰੀ-ਨਾਮ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
They are filled and fulfilled with the Ambrosial Nectar of the Lord, the Treasure of sublime wealth;
निधि निधान हरि अंम्रित पूरे ॥
ਤਹਬਾਜੇਨਾਨਕਅਨਹਦਤੂਰੇ॥੩੬॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਕ ਐਸਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਇਕ-ਰਸ ਸਭ ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਜੇ ਮਿਲਵੀਂ ਸੁਰ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਜ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੩੬॥
O Nanak, the unstruck celestial melody vibrates for them. ||36||
