ਸਸੁਰੈਪੇਈਐਕੰਤਕੀਕੰਤੁਅਗੰਮੁਅਥਾਹੁ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਖਸਮ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਹੈ; ਜੋ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਸਹੁਰੇ-ਘਰ ਤੇ ਪੇਕੇ-ਘਰ (ਦੋਹੀਂ ਥਾਈਂ, ਭਾਵ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ) ਖਸਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ,
In her father-in-law's home hereafter, and in her parents' home in this world, she belongs to her Husband Lord. Her Husband is inaccessible and unfathomable.
ससुरै पेईऐ कंत की कंतु अगंमु अथाहु ॥
ਨਾਨਕਧੰਨੁਸੋੁਹਾਗਣੀਜੋਭਾਵਹਿਵੇਪਰਵਾਹ॥੨॥
ਤੇ (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਉਸ ਬੇਪਰਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਲੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
O Nanak, she is the happy soul-bride, who is pleasing to her carefree, independent Lord. ||2||
