पउड़ी ॥
ਢਢਾਢੂਢਤਕਹਫਿਰਹੁਢੂਢਨੁਇਆਮਨਮਾਹਿ॥
ਹੋਰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਲੱਭਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹੋ? ਭਾਲ ਇਸ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ (ਕਰਨੀ ਹੈ)।
DHADHA: Where are you going, wandering and searching? Search instead within your own mind.
ढढा ढूढत कह फिरहु ढूढनु इआ मन माहि ॥
ਸੰਗਿਤੁਹਾਰੈਪ੍ਰਭੁਬਸੈਬਨੁਬਨੁਕਹਾਫਿਰਾਹਿ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ (ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਤੁਸੀ ਜੰਗਲ ਜੰਗਲ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਢੂੰਢਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹੋ?
God is with you, so why do you wander around from forest to forest?
संगि तुहारै प्रभु बसै बनु बनु कहा फिराहि ॥
ਢੇਰੀਢਾਹਹੁਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਅਹੰਬੁਧਿਬਿਕਰਾਲ॥
ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ (ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ) ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹਉਮੈ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਤਿ ਦੀ ਬਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਢੇਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਢਾਹ ਦਿਉ।
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, tear down the mound of your frightful, egotistical pride.
ढेरी ढाहहु साधसंगि अहंबुधि बिकराल ॥
ਸੁਖੁਪਾਵਹੁਸਹਜੇਬਸਹੁਦਰਸਨੁਦੇਖਿਨਿਹਾਲ॥
(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਇਗਾ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ) ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਖਿੜ ਪਏਗਾ, ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ, ਅਡੋਲ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਜਾਵੋਗੇ।
You shall find peace, and abide in intuitive bliss; gazing upon the Blessed Vision of God's Darshan, you shall be delighted.
सुखु पावहु सहजे बसहु दरसनु देखि निहाल ॥
ਢੇਰੀਜਾਮੈਜਮਿਮਰੈਗਰਭਜੋਨਿਦੁਖਪਾਇ॥
ਜਿਤਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਉਮੈ ਦੀ ਢੇਰੀ ਬਣੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜੰਮਦਾ ਮਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੂਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਵਿਚ ਦੁੱਖ ਭੋਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
One who has such a mound as this, dies and suffers the pain of reincarnation through the womb.
ढेरी जामै जमि मरै गरभ जोनि दुख पाइ ॥
ਮੋਹਮਗਨਲਪਟਤਰਹੈਹਉਹਉਆਵੈਜਾਇ॥
ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ (ਮਾਇਆ ਨਾਲ) ਚੰਬੜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਉਮੈ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
One who is intoxicated by emotional attachment, entangled in egotism, selfishness and conceit, shall continue coming and going in reincarnation.
मोह मगन लपटत रहै हउ हउ आवै जाइ ॥
ਢਹਤਢਹਤਅਬਢਹਿਪਰੇਸਾਧਜਨਾਸਰਨਾਇ॥
ਜੋ ਬੰਦੇ ਇਸ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਆ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
Slowly and steadily, I have now surrendered to the Holy Saints; I have come to their Sanctuary.
ढहत ढहत अब ढहि परे साध जना सरनाइ ॥
ਦੁਖਕੇਫਾਹੇਕਾਟਿਆਨਾਨਕਲੀਏਸਮਾਇ॥੩੦॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ (ਮੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਉਪਜੀਆਂ) ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫਾਹੀਆਂ ਕੱਟੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩੦॥
God has cut away the noose of my pain; O Nanak, He has merged me into Himself. ||30||
दुख के फाहे काटिआ नानक लीए समाइ ॥३०॥
