ਚਰਨਕਮਲਸਿਉਲਾਈਐਚੀਤਾ॥੧॥
(ਤਾਂਤੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਕਉਲ ਫੁੱਲ (ਵਰਗੇ ਕੋਮਲ) ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਚਿੱਤ ਜੋੜਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
lovingly centering your consciousness on the Lord's Lotus Feet. ||1||
ਹਉਬਲਿਹਾਰੀਜੋਪ੍ਰਭੂਧਿਆਵਤ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
I am a sacrifice to those who meditate on God.
ਜਲਨਿਬੁਝੈਹਰਿਹਰਿਗੁਨਗਾਵਤ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਿਆਂ ਗਾਂਦਿਆਂ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ) ਸੜਨ ਬੁੱਝ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
The fire of desire is quenched, singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||Pause||
ਸਫਲਜਨਮੁਹੋਵਤਵਡਭਾਗੀ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਡਭਾਗੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ,
One's life become fruitful and rewarding, by great good fortune.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਰਾਮਹਿਲਿਵਲਾਗੀ॥੨॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, enshrine love for the Lord. ||2||
ਮਤਿਪਤਿਧਨੁਸੁਖਸਹਜਅਨੰਦਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਸੁਰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ) ਇੱਜ਼ਤ (ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ), ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੇ ਸੁਖ-ਆਨੰਦ ਦਾ ਧਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Wisdom, honor, wealth, peace and celestial bliss are attained,
ਇਕਨਿਮਖਨਵਿਸਰਹੁਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ॥੩॥
ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਅੱਖ ਝਮਕਣ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਸਮੇ ਲਈ ਭੀ ਨਾਹ ਭੁਲਾਵੋ! (ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ) ਮਤਿ ਉੱਚੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
if one does not forget the Lord of supreme bliss, even for an instant. ||3||
ਹਰਿਦਰਸਨਕੀਮਨਿਪਿਆਸਘਨੇਰੀ॥
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਬੜੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਹੈ (ਮੇਰੀ ਇਹ ਤਾਂਘ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰ)।
My mind is so very thirsty for the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan.
ਭਨਤਿਨਾਨਕਸਰਣਿਪ੍ਰਭਤੇਰੀ॥੪॥੮॥੧੩॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ-ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ ॥੪॥੮॥੧੩॥
Prays Nanak, O God, I seek Your Sanctuary. ||4||8||13||
ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Bilaaval, Fifth Mahalaa:
ਮੋਹਿਨਿਰਗੁਨਸਭਗੁਣਹਬਿਹੂਨਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੁਣ-ਹੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੱਖਣੇ ਨੂੰ-
I am worthless, totally lacking all virtues.
ਦਇਆਧਾਰਿਅਪੁਨਾਕਰਿਲੀਨਾ॥੧॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ (ਦਾਸ) ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ॥੧॥
Bless me with Your Mercy, and make me Your Own. ||1||
ਮੇਰਾਮਨੁਤਨੁਹਰਿਗੋਪਾਲਿਸੁਹਾਇਆ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੋਪਾਲ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
My mind and body are embellished by the Lord, the Lord of the World.
ਕਰਿਕਿਰਪਾਪ੍ਰਭੁਘਰਮਹਿਆਇਆ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Granting His Mercy, God has come into the home of my heart. ||1||Pause||
ਭਗਤਿਵਛਲਭੈਕਾਟਨਹਾਰੇ॥
ਹੇ ਭਗਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਡਰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!
He is the Lover and Protector of His devotees, the Destroyer of fear.
ਸੰਸਾਰਸਾਗਰਅਬਉਤਰੇਪਾਰੇ॥੨॥
ਹੁਣ (ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸਿਆ ਹੈਂ) ਮੈਂ (ਤੇਰੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ) ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ ॥੨॥
Now, I have been carried across the world-ocean. ||2||
ਪਤਿਤਪਾਵਨਪ੍ਰਭਬਿਰਦੁਬੇਦਿਲੇਖਿਆ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਵੇਦ (ਆਦਿਕ ਹਰੇਕ ਧਰਮ-ਪੁਸਤਕ) ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਬਾਬਤ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ,
It is God's Way to purify sinners, say the Vedas.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁਸੋਨੈਨਹੁਪੇਖਿਆ॥੩॥
ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ (ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਵੱਸਦਾ) ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
I have seen the Supreme Lord with my eyes. ||3||
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਪ੍ਰਗਟੇਨਾਰਾਇਣ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, the Lord becomes manifest.
ਨਾਨਕਦਾਸਸਭਿਦੂਖਪਲਾਇਣ॥੪॥੯॥੧੪॥
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੪॥੯॥੧੪॥
O slave Nanak, all pains are relieved. ||4||9||14||
ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Bilaaval, Fifth Mahalaa:
ਕਵਨੁਜਾਨੈਪ੍ਰਭਤੁਮੑਰੀਸੇਵਾ॥
(ਆਪਣੀ ਅਕਲ ਦੇ ਬਲ) ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ,
Who can know the value of serving You, God?
ਪ੍ਰਭਅਵਿਨਾਸੀਅਲਖਅਭੇਵਾ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਸ-ਰਹਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਅਭੇਵ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਇਹ ਜਾਚ ਤੇਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਹੀ ਆ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ) ॥੧॥
God is imperishable, invisible and incomprehensible. ||1||
ਗੁਣਬੇਅੰਤਪ੍ਰਭਗਹਿਰਗੰਭੀਰੇ॥
ਹੇ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਜਿਗਰੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ।
His Glorious Virtues are infinite; God is profound and unfathomable.
ਊਚਮਹਲਸੁਆਮੀਪ੍ਰਭਮੇਰੇ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੰਡਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਤੂੰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਉੱਚੇ ਹਨ।
The Mansion of God, my Lord and Master, is lofty and high.
ਤੂਅਪਰੰਪਰਠਾਕੁਰਮੇਰੇ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ! ਤੂੰ ਪਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
You are unlimited, O my Lord and Master. ||1||Pause||
ਏਕਸਬਿਨੁਨਾਹੀਕੋਦੂਜਾ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੈਥੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਤੇਰੇ ਵਰਗਾ) ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
There is no other than the One Lord.
ਤੁਮੑਹੀਜਾਨਹੁਅਪਨੀਪੂਜਾ॥੨॥
ਆਪਣੀ ਭਗਤੀ (ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਢੰਗ) ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੨॥
You alone know Your worship and adoration. ||2||
ਆਪਹੁਕਛੂਨਹੋਵਤਭਾਈ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ) ਆਪਣੇ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ) ਰਤਾ ਭਰ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ।
No one can do anything by himself, O Siblings of Destiny.
ਜਿਸੁਪ੍ਰਭੁਦੇਵੈਸੋਨਾਮੁਪਾਈ॥੩॥
ਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਆਪ) ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
He alone obtains the Naam, the Name of the Lord, unto whom God bestows it. ||3||
ਕਹੁਨਾਨਕਜੋਜਨੁਪ੍ਰਭਭਾਇਆ॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ- ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਲੱਗਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
Says Nanak, that humble being who pleases God,
ਗੁਣਨਿਧਾਨਪ੍ਰਭੁਤਿਨਹੀਪਾਇਆ॥੪॥੧੦॥੧੫॥
ਉਸੇ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਦਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ) ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧੦॥੧੫॥
he alone finds God, the treasure of virtue. ||4||10||15||
ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Bilaaval, Fifth Mahalaa:
ਮਾਤਗਰਭਮਹਿਹਾਥਦੇਰਾਖਿਆ॥
(ਹੇ ਮੂਰਖ! ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੇਟ ਵਿਚ (ਆਪਣਾ) ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਸੀ,
Extending His Hand, the Lord protected you in your mother's womb.
ਹਰਿਰਸੁਛੋਡਿਬਿਖਿਆਫਲੁਚਾਖਿਆ॥੧॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਭੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਚੱਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੧॥
Renouncing the sublime essence of the Lord, you have tasted the fruit of poison. ||1||
ਭਜੁਗੋਬਿਦਸਭਛੋਡਿਜੰਜਾਲ॥
ਹੇ ਮੂਰਖ (ਮਨੁੱਖ)! ਮੋਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਤਣਾਵਾਂ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ।
Meditate, vibrate on the Lord of the Universe, and renounce all entanglements.
ਜਬਜਮੁਆਇਸੰਘਾਰੈਮੂੜੇਤਬਤਨੁਬਿਨਸਿਜਾਇਬੇਹਾਲ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਜਮਦੂਤ ਆ ਕੇ ਮਾਰੂ ਹੱਲਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੁੱਖ ਸਹਾਰ ਕੇ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
When the Messenger of Death comes to murder you, O fool, then your body will be shattered and helplessly crumble. ||1||Pause||
ਤਨੁਮਨੁਧਨੁਅਪਨਾਕਰਿਥਾਪਿਆ॥
(ਹੇ ਮੂਰਖ!) ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ, ਇਸ ਧਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੰਨੀ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈਂ,
You hold onto your body, mind and wealth as your own,
ਕਰਨਹਾਰੁਇਕਨਿਮਖਨਜਾਪਿਆ॥੨॥
ਪਰ ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਪਲ ਭਰ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ॥੨॥
and you do not meditate on the Creator Lord, even for an instant. ||2||
ਮਹਾਮੋਹਅੰਧਕੂਪਪਰਿਆ॥
(ਹੇ ਮੂਰਖ!) ਤੂੰ ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਬੜੇ ਘੁੱਪ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਖੂਹ ਵਿਚ ਡਿੱਗਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈਂ,
You have fallen into the deep, dark pit of great attachment.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁਮਾਇਆਪਟਲਿਬਿਸਰਿਆ॥੩॥
ਮਾਇਆ (ਦੇ ਮੋਹ) ਦੇ ਪਰਦੇ ਦੇ ਓਹਲੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਭੁੱਲ ਚੁਕਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
Caught in the illusion of Maya, you have forgotten the Supreme Lord. ||3||
ਵਡੈਭਾਗਿਪ੍ਰਭਕੀਰਤਨੁਗਾਇਆ॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
By great good fortune, one sings the Kirtan of God's Praises.
ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿਨਾਨਕਪ੍ਰਭੁਪਾਇਆ॥੪॥੧੧॥੧੬॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਦਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ) ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ॥੪॥੧੧॥੧੬॥
In the Society of the Saints, Nanak has found God. ||4||11||16||
ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Bilaaval, Fifth Mahalaa:
ਮਾਤਪਿਤਾਸੁਤਬੰਧਪਭਾਈ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮਾਂ, ਪਿਉ, ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ, ਭਰਾ-
Mother, father, children, relatives and siblings
ਨਾਨਕਹੋਆਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁਸਹਾਈ॥੧॥
(ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾ ਮਦਦਗਾਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
- O Nanak, the Supreme Lord is our help and support. ||1||
ਸੂਖਸਹਜਆਨੰਦਘਣੇ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਉਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆਂ) ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਸੁਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
He blesses us with peace, and abundant celestial bliss.
ਗੁਰੁਪੂਰਾਪੂਰੀਜਾਕੀਬਾਣੀਅਨਿਕਗੁਣਾਜਾਕੇਜਾਹਿਨਗਣੇ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਗੁਰੂ (ਸਭ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ) ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ (ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ) ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਹੀ ਗੁਣ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਗਿਣਨ-ਗੋਚਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Perfect is the Bani, the Word of the Perfect Guru. His Virtues are so many, they cannot be counted. ||1||Pause||
ਸਗਲਸਰੰਜਾਮਕਰੇਪ੍ਰਭੁਆਪੇ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਸਰਨ ਪਏ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਸਿਰੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
God Himself makes all arrangements.
ਭਏਮਨੋਰਥਸੋਪ੍ਰਭੁਜਾਪੇ॥੨॥
ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆਂ ਮਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਾਮਨਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
Meditating on God, desires are fulfilled. ||2||
ਅਰਥਧਰਮਕਾਮਮੋਖਕਾਦਾਤਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਮੰਨੇ ਹੋਏ ਚਾਰ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ) ਧਰਮ ਅਰਥ ਕਾਮ ਮੋਖ ਦਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹੈ।
He is the Giver of wealth, Dharmic faith, pleasure and liberation.
