ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 'ਸਿਸਟਿ' (ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟੀ) ਨਾਮ ਆਖੋ, ਫਿਰ 'ਨਾਥ' (ਸ਼ਬਦ) ਉਚਾਰੋ।
Uttering the word “Sarishti” in the beginning and then the word “Nath”,
ਸਕਲਨਾਮੁਮਮਈਸਕੇਸਦਾਬਸੋਜੀਅਸਾਥ॥੩੧॥
ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਂ 'ਮਮ ਈਸ' (ਖੜਗ) ਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾਈ ਰਖੋ ॥੩੧॥
All the Names of the Lord are adopted in the heart.31.
ਸਿੰਘਸਬਦਭਾਖੋਪ੍ਰਥਮਬਾਹਨਬਹੁਰਿਉਚਾਰਿ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਿੰਘ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਹੋ, ਫਿਰ 'ਬਾਹਨ' (ਸ਼ਬਦ) ਉਚਾਰੋ।
Uttering the word “Sarishti” in the beginning and then the word “Vahan”,
ਸਭੈਨਾਮਜਗਮਾਤਕੇਲੀਜਹੁਸੁਕਬਿਸੁਧਾਰਿ॥੩੨॥
ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਂ 'ਜਗਮਾਤ' (ਤਲਵਾਰ) ਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਕਵੀਓ! ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲਵੋ ॥੩੨॥
The poets may in this way say all the Names of Durga, the mother of the world.32.
ਰਿਪੁਖੰਡਨਮੰਡਨਜਗਤਖਲਖੰਡਨਜਗਮਾਹਿ॥
(ਜੋ) ਵੈਰੀ ਦਾ ਖੰਡਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ, ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਗ ਵਿਚ ਮੂਰਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੋਟੇ ਟੋਟੇ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ,
That Lord is the destroyer of he enemies, Creator of the world and also the Vanquisher of the foolish people in this world.
ਤਾਕੇਨਾਮਉਚਾਰੀਐਜਿਹੇਸੁਨਿਦੁਖਟਰਿਜਾਹਿ॥੩੩॥
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਉਚਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਦੁਖ ਟਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੩॥
His Name should be remembered, by hearing which all the suffering come to an end.33.
ਸਭਸਸਤ੍ਰਨਕੇਨਾਮਕਹਿਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਅੰਤਪਤਿਭਾਖੁ॥
ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ, ਅੰਤ ਉਤੇ 'ਪਤਿ' (ਸ਼ਬਦ) ਕਹੋ।
Uttering the names of all the weapons, and saying the word “Pati” in the beginning and at the end,
ਸਭਹੀਨਾਮਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਕੇਜਾਣਹ੍ਰਿਦੈਮਹਿਰਾਖੁ॥੩੪॥
(ਇਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ (ਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ) (ਇੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਰਖੋ ॥੩੪॥
All the names of Kripaan are adopted in the heart.34.
ਖਤ੍ਰਿਯਾਕੈਖੇਲਕਖੜਗਖਗਖੰਡੋਖਤ੍ਰਿਆਰਿ॥
ਖਤ੍ਰਿਯਾਂਕੈ ਖੇਲਕ (ਛਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਲਟਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਖੜਗ, ਖਗ, ਖੰਡਾ, ਖਤ੍ਰਿਆਰਿ (ਛਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੈਰੀ) ਖੇਲਾਂਤਕ (ਯੁੱਧ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ)
It plays in the limb of Kshatriyas it is called Kharag, Khanda or the enemy of Kshatriyas
ਖੇਲਾਤਕਖਲਕੇਮਰੀਅਸਿਕੇਨਾਮਬਿਚਾਰ॥੩੫॥
ਖਲਕੇਮਰੀ (ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਨਾਸ਼ਕ) (ਆਦਿਕ ਨੂੰ) ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਲਵੋ ॥੩੫॥
It brings the end of war it is the destroyer of hides these are thoughtfully spoken names of the sword.35.
ਭੂਤਾਤਕਿਸ੍ਰੀਭਗਵਤੀਭਵਹਾਨਾਮਬਖਾਨ॥
ਭੂਤਾਂਤਕਿ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ-ਖੜਗ) ਭਗਵਤੀ (ਖੜਗ) ਭਵਹਾ (ਜਗਤ ਦੀ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ਕ)
It is described as the goddess bringing the end of all elements and the destroyer of all the sufferings
ਸਿਰੀਭਵਾਨੀਭੈਹਰਨਸਭਕੋਕਰੌਕਲ੍ਯਾਨ॥੩੬॥
ਸਿਰੀ, ਭਵਾਨੀ, ਭੈ-ਹਰਨ (ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ) ਨਾਮ ਬਖਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਜੋ) ਸਭ ਦਾ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੬॥
O the sword-Bhavani (goddess)! You are the destroyer of fear bring the happiness to all.36.

ਭੂਤਸਬਦਕੌਭਾਖਿਬਹੁਰਿਅਰਿਭਾਖੀਐ॥
(ਪਹਿਲਾਂ) 'ਭੂਤ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ, ਫਿਰ 'ਅਰਿ' (ਸ਼ਬਦ) ਬੋਲਿਆ ਜਾਏ।
If the word “A” is said after uttering the sword “Bhoot”,
ਸਭਅਸਿਜੂਕੇਨਾਮਜਾਨਜੀਅਰਾਖੀਐ॥
ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਂ 'ਅਸਿ ਜੂ' (ਤਲਵਾਰ) ਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਰਖੋ।
Then all the names of the sword are uttered
ਨਾਮਮ੍ਰਿਗਨਸਭਕਹਿਧਨੁਸਰਉਚਾਰੀਐ॥
ਸਾਰੇ 'ਮ੍ਰਿਗਨ' (ਹਿਰਨ) ਨਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ (ਫਿਰ) 'ਧਨੁਸਰ' (ਧ੍ਵਸ੍ਰ-ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ) ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਏ।
If the word “Dhanu” is spoken after uttering all the names of “Mrig” (deer),
ਹੋਸਭਖੰਡੇਕੇਨਾਮਸਤਿਜੀਅਧਾਰੀਐ॥੩੭॥
(ਤਾਂ ਇਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਖੰਡੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। (ਇਹ ਗੱਲ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਚ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੰਨ ਲਵੋ ॥੩੭॥
Then all these are the names of Khanda, which is true.37.

After speaking the names of “Yama” in the beginning, if the word “Radan” (tooth) is uttered,
ਸਕਲਨਾਮਜਮਦਾੜਕੇਲੀਜਹੁਸੁਕਬਿਸੁਧਾਰਿ॥੩੮॥
(ਇਹ) ਸਾਰੇ 'ਨਾਮ' 'ਜਮਦਾੜ੍ਹ' (ਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ)। ਕਵੀ ਜਨ (ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ) ਧਾਰ ਲੈਣ ॥੩੮॥
then O poets! Then the names of Jamadaadh can be understood correctly.38.
ਉਦਰਸਬਦਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੈਕਹੋਪੁਨਿਅਰਿਸਬਦਉਚਾਰ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 'ਉਦਰ' (ਪੇਟ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ 'ਅਰਿ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਉਚਾਰੋ।
Speaking the word the word “Udar” in the beginning and then uttering the word “Ar”,
ਨਾਮਸਭੈਜਮਦਾੜਕੇਲੀਜਹੁਸੁਕਬਿਬਿਚਾਰ॥੩੯॥
(ਇਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਜਮਦਾੜ੍ਹ (ਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ)। ਕਵੀ (ਇਹ ਗੱਲ) ਵਿਚਾਰ ਲੈਣ ॥੩੯॥
the thought of all the names of Jamdaadh can be manifested correctly.39.
ਮ੍ਰਿਗਗ੍ਰੀਵਾਸਿਰਅਰਿਉਚਰਿਪੁਨਿਅਸਿਸਬਦਉਚਾਰ॥
ਮ੍ਰਿਗ (ਹਿਰਨ) ਗ੍ਰੀਵਾ (ਗਰਦਨ) ਸਿਰ ਨਾਲ 'ਅਰਿ' (ਸ਼ਬਦ) ਉਚਾਰ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ 'ਅਸਿ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਉਚਾਰੋ।
After uttering “Mrig-Greevaa” and “Sir-Ar” and then speaking the word “As”,
ਸਭੈਨਾਮਸ੍ਰੀਖੜਗਕੇਲੀਜੋਹ੍ਰਿਦੈਬਿਚਾਰਿ॥੪੦॥
(ਇਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਤਲਵਾਰ ('ਖੜਗ') ਦੇ ਹਨ। (ਇਹ ਗੱਲ) ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਲਵੋ ॥੪੦॥
all the names of Kharag can be spoken.40.
ਕਰੀਕਰਾਤਕਕਸਟਰਿਪੁਕਾਲਾਯੁਧਕਰਵਾਰਿ॥
'ਕਰੀ ਕਰਾਂਤਕ' (ਹਾਥੀ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਡ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ) ਅਤੇ 'ਕਸਟ ਰਿਪੁ' (ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ) 'ਕਾਲਾਯੁਧ' (ਕਾਲ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ) 'ਕਰਵਾਰ'
Uttering correctly the words “Kar, Karantak, Kashtripu, Kalayudh, Karvaar, Karachol” etc.,
ਕਰਾਚੋਲਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਕੇਲੀਜਹੁਨਾਮਸੁਧਾਰ॥੪੧॥
ਅਤੇ 'ਕਰਾਚੋਲ' ਆਦਿ ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ॥੪੧॥
the names of Kripan can be spoken.41.
ਹਸਤਿਕਰੀਕਰਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਕਹਿਪੁਨਿਅਰਿਸਬਦਸੁਨਾਇ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 'ਹਸਤਿਕਰ' ਜਾਂ 'ਕਰੀਕਰ' ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ 'ਅਰਿ' (ਵੈਰੀ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਣਾ ਦਿਓ।
After uttering “Hast, Kari, Kar” in the beginning and then saying the word “Ar” is caused to be heard,
ਸਸਤ੍ਰਰਾਜਕੇਨਾਮਸਬਮੋਰੀਕਰਹੁਸਹਾਇ॥੪੨॥
(ਇਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਰਾਜ (ਤਲਵਾਰ) ਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੪੨॥
Then the names of Kripaan, the king of weapons are formed O Kripan! Do help me.42.
ਸਿਰੀਸਰੋਹੀਸੇਰਸਮਜਾਸਮਅਉਰਨਕੋਇ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ, ਸਰੋਹੀ, ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ੇਰ ('ਸੇਰਸਮ') (ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਹਨ) ਜਿਸ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
O Sirohi, the symbol of victoy! You are like a lion there is none other like you
ਤੇਗਜਾਪੁਤੁਮਹੂੰਜਪੋਭਲੋਤੁਹਾਰੋਹੋਇ॥੪੩॥
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਗ ਦਾ ਜਾਪ ਜਪੋ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਭਲਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ॥੪੩॥
O creatures! if all of you remember Tegh, then all of you will be redeemed.43.
ਖਗਮ੍ਰਿਗਜਛਭੁਜੰਗਗਨਏਪਦਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਉਚਾਰਿ॥
ਖਗ (ਪੰਛੀ) ਮ੍ਰਿਗ, ਜਛ (ਯਕਸ਼) ਅਤੇ ਭੁਜੰਗ (ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ) ਸਾਰਿਆਂ (ਨਾਂਵਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਦਿਓ।
Uttering the words “Khag, Mrig, Yaksha, Bhujang, Gana etc,” in the beginning and
ਫੁਨਿਅਰਿਸਬਦਉਚਾਰੀਐਜਾਨਤਿਸੈਤਰਵਾਰਿ॥੪੪॥
ਫਿਰ 'ਅਰਿ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਉਚਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। (ਤਾਂ) ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦਾ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਸਮਝ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ॥੪੪॥
Then speaking “Ar”, the resultant words mean Talwaar (sword).44.
ਹਲਬਿਜੁਨਬੀਮਗਰਬੀਮਿਸਰੀਊਨਾਨਾਮ॥
ਹਲਬਿ, ਜੁਨਬੀ, ਮਗਰਬੀ, ਮਿਸਰੀ, ਊਨਾ,
In other countries, its names Halabbi, Janabbi, Magharbi, Misri, Uan, Saif, Sirohi etc.,
ਸੈਫਸਰੋਹੀਸਸਤ੍ਰਪਤਿਜਿਤ੍ਯੋਰੂਮਅਰੁਸਾਮ॥੪੫॥
ਸੈਫ਼, ਸਰੋਹੀ ਆਦਿ ਨਾਮ 'ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਪਤਿ' (ਖੜਗ) ਦੇ ਹਨ। (ਜਿਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ) ਰੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮ (ਦੇਸ਼) ਜਿਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੪੫॥
The names of Kripaan, the Lord of weapons in which has conquered the countries like Rum, Sham etc.45.
ਕਤੀਯਾਮਾਨੀਹਿੰਦਵੀਸਭਸਸਤ੍ਰਕੇਨਾਥ॥
ਯਾਮਾਨੀ ਕਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਿੰਦਵੀ ਕਤੀ (ਤਲਵਾਰ) ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ (ਖੜਗ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਹਨ)।
Known as “Kanti” in Yemen and renowned as Bhagvati, the chief of all weapons in India,
ਲਏਭਗਉਤੀਨਿਕਸਹੈਆਪਕਲੰਕੀਹਾਥਿ॥੪੬॥
(ਇਸ) ਭਗਉਤੀ (ਤਲਵਾਰ) ਨੂੰ ਨਿਹਕਲੰਕੀ (ਅਵਤਾਰ) ਆਪ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਨਿਕਲੇਗਾ ॥੪੬॥
it had been assumed by Kalki incarnation himself.46.
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਸਕਤਿਪਦਉਚਰਿਕੈਪੁਨਿਕਹੁਸਕਤਿਬਿਸੇਖ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 'ਸ਼ਕਤੀ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ 'ਸਕਤਿ ਬਿਸੇਖ' ਕਹਿ ਦਿਓ।
Uttering the word “Shakti” in the beginning and then speaking the word “Shakat”,
ਨਾਮਸੈਹਥੀਕੇਸਕਲਨਿਕਸਤਜਾਹਿਅਨੇਕ॥੪੭॥
(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) 'ਸੈਹਥੀ' (ਬਰਛੀ) ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਹੀ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ॥੪੭॥
all the names of Saihathi are uttered.47.
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਸੁਭਟਪਦਉਚਰਿਕੈਬਹੁਰਿਸਬਦਅਰਿਦੇਹੁ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 'ਸੁਭਟ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਉਚਾਰ ਕੇ, ਫਿਰ 'ਅਰਿ' (ਵੈਰੀ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਲਗਾਓ।
Firstly uttering the word “Subhat” and then saying “Ardeh”,
ਨਾਮਸੈਹਥੀਕੇਸਭੈਸਮਝਿਚਤੁਰਚਿਤਲੇਹੁ॥੪੮॥
ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਸੈਹਥੀ ਦੇ ਹਨ। ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਝ ਲੈਣ ॥੪੮॥
the wise people understand the names of Saihathi in their mind.48.
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਭਾਖਸੰਨਾਹਪਦੁਪੁਨਿਰਿਪੁਸਬਦਉਚਾਰਿ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 'ਸੰਨਾਹ' (ਕਵਚ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ, ਫਿਰ 'ਰਿਪੁ' (ਵੈਰੀ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਉਚਾਰ ਦਿਓ।
Speaking the word “Sannah” in the beginning and then saying the word “Ripu”,
ਨਾਮਸੈਹਥੀਕੇਸਕਲਚਤੁਰਚਿਤਨਿਜਧਾਰਿ॥੪੯॥
(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਸੈਹਥੀ ਦੇ (ਬਣਨਗੇ)। ਹੇ ਚਤੁਰ ਪੁਰਸ਼ੋ! ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਰ ਲਵੋ ॥੪੯॥
all the names of Saihathi are spoken cleverly.49.

ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 'ਕੁੰਭ' (ਹਾਥੀ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕਰੋ, ਫਿਰ 'ਅਰਿ' (ਵੈਰੀ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਹੋ।
Uttering the word “Kumbh” in the beginning, then saying the word “Ar”,
ਨਾਮਸੈਹਥੀਕੇਸਭੈਚਿਤਮਹਿਚਤੁਰਲਹੋ॥੫੦॥
(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਸੈਹਥੀ ਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬੁੱਧੀਮਾਨ ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣ ॥੫੦॥
O wise people! You may understand in your mind all the names of Sihathi.50.
ਤਨੁਤ੍ਰਾਨਪਦਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਕਹਿਪੁਨਿਅਰਿਸਬਦਬਖਾਨ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 'ਤਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਾਨ' (ਕਵਚ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ 'ਅਰਿ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬੋਲੋ।
After uttering the word “Tantraan” and then saying the word “Ar”
ਨਾਮਸੈਹਥੀਕੇਸਭੈਰੁਚਿਰਚਤੁਰਚਿਤਜਾਨ॥੫੧॥

'ਯਸਟੀਸਰ' (ਲੰਬੀ ਸੋਟੀ ਵਾਲੀ) (ਸ਼ਬਦ) ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ (ਫਿਰ) 'ਅਰਧੰਗ' ਪਦ ('ਬਚ') ਕਹਿ ਦਿਓ।
