ਨਚੀਡਾਕਿਣੀਜੋਗਨੀਉਰਧਹੇਤੰ॥੪੮॥
ਆਕਾਸ਼-ਵਾਸੀ ਡਾਕਣੀਆਂ, ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਨਚ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੪੮॥
The heroic sprits, ghosts, fiends and goblins are dancing. The vampires, female demons and Shiva also are dancing.48.
ਛੁਟੀਜੋਗਤਾਰੀਮਹਾਰੁਦ੍ਰਜਾਗੇ॥
(ਭਿਆਨਕ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਾਰਨ) ਮਹਾ ਰੁਦਰ (ਸ਼ਿਵ) ਦੀ ਯੋਗ-ਸਮਾਧੀ ਭੰਗ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਨਾਲ (ਉਹ) ਜਾਗ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ;
ਡਗਿਯੋਧਿਆਨਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਸਭੈਸਿਧਭਾਗੇ॥
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਉਚਕ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਿੱਧ (ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਠਿਕਾਣਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ) ਭਜ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
The Supreme Rudra hath awakened on coming out of the Yogic contemplation. The meditation of Brahma hath been interrupted and all the Siddhas (adepts) in great fear have run away from their abodes.
ਹਸੇਕਿੰਨਰੰਜਛਬਿਦਿਆਧਰੇਯੰ॥
ਕਿੰਨਰ, ਯਕਸ਼, ਵਿਦਿਆਧਰ (ਆਦਿ ਦੇਵਤੇ) ਹਸ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ
ਨਚੀਅਛਰਾਪਛਰਾਚਾਰਣੇਯੰ॥੪੯॥
ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤ ਲੋਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਯੁਵਤੀਆਂ, ਅਪੱਛਰਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰਣਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨਚ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੪੯॥
The Kinnaers, Yakshas and Vidyadhars are laughing and the wives of bards are dancing.49.
ਪਰਿਯੋਘੋਰਜੁਧੰਸੁਸੈਨਾਪਰਾਨੀ॥
ਘੋਰ ਯੁੱਧ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੈਨਾ ਭਜਣ ਲਗੀ।
ਤਹਾਖਾਂਹੁਸੈਨੀਮੰਡਿਓਬੀਰਬਾਨੀ॥
ਉਥੇ (ਉਦੋਂ) ਹੁਸੈਨੀ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਨੇ (ਯੁੱਧ) ਮੰਡਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੋਲ (ਉਚਾਰੇ-ਭਾਵ ਗਜਿਆ)।
The fight was most terrible and the army fled away. The great hero Hussain stood firmly in the fled away. The great hero Hussain stood firmly in the field.
ਉਤੈਬੀਰਧਾਏਸੁਬੀਰੰਜਸ੍ਵਾਰੰ॥
ਉਧਰ ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਜਸਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਧਾਵਾ ਬੋਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਸਬੈਬਿਉਤਡਾਰੇਬਗਾਸੇਅਸ੍ਵਾਰੰ॥੫੦॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਸਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਪੜਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਵਿਉਂਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਕਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।)॥੫੦॥
The heroes of Jaswal ran towards him. The horsemen were cut in the manner the cloth is cut (by the tailor).50.
ਤਹਾਖਾਂਹੁਸੈਨੀਰਹਿਯੋਏਕਠਾਢੰ॥
ਉਥੇ ਇਕ ਹੁਸੈਨੀ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਹੀ ਡਟਿਆ ਖੜਾ ਰਿਹਾ,
ਮਨੋਜੁਧਖੰਭੰਰਣਭੂਮਗਾਡੰ॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਯੁੱਧ ਦਾ ਖੰਭਾ ਗਡਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
There Hussain stood quite alone like the pole of a flagg fixed in the ground.
ਜਿਸੈਕੋਪਕੈਕੈਹਠੀਬਾਣਿਮਾਰਿਯੋ॥
(ਉਹ) ਹਠੀਲਾ ਯੋਧਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੀਰ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਤਿਸੈਛੇਦਕੈਪੈਲਪਾਰੇਪਧਾਰਿਯੋ॥੫੧॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਹ ਕੇ ਤੀਰ ਪਰਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਨਿਕਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੫੧॥
Wherever that tenacious warrior shot his arrow, it pierced though the body and went out. 51.
ਸਹੇਬਾਣਸੂਰੰਸਭੈਆਣਢੂਕੈ॥
(ਉਸ) ਸੂਰਮੇ ਨੇ (ਆਪਣੇ ਉਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ) ਬਾਣ ਸਹਾਰੇ। (ਫਿਰ) ਸਾਰੇ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ
ਚਹੂੰਓਰਤੈਮਾਰਹੀਮਾਰਕੂਕੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਾਰੋ-ਮਾਰੋ ਬੋਲਣ ਲਗੇ।
The warriors who were struck by arrows came together against him. From all the four sides, they shouted “kill, kill”.
ਭਲੀਭਾਂਤਿਸੋਅਸਤ੍ਰਅਉਸਸਤ੍ਰਝਾਰੇ॥
(ਹੁਸੈਨੀ ਨੇ) ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਚਲਾਏ,
ਗਿਰੇਭਿਸਤਕੋਖਾਂਹੁਸੈਨੀਸਿਧਾਰੇ॥੫੨॥
(ਪਰ ਅੰਤ ਵਿਚ) ਹੁਸੈਨੀ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਡਿਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਹਿਸ਼ਤ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ॥੫੨॥
They carried and struck their weapons very ably. At last Hussain fell down and left for heaven.52.

ਜਬੈਹੁਸੈਨੀਜੁਝਿਯੋਭਯੋਸੂਰਮਨਰੋਸੁ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਹੁਸੈਨੀ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ, (ਤਾਂ ਪਠਾਣ) ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
When Hussain was killed, the warriors were in great fury.
ਭਾਜਿਚਲੇਅਵਰੈਸਬੈਉਠਿਯੋਕਟੋਚਨਜੋਸ॥੫੩॥
ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਭਜ ਗਏ, (ਪਰ) ਕਟੋਚਾਂ (ਦੇ ਮਨ) ਵਿਚ ਬੁਹਤ ਜੋਸ਼ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ॥੫੩॥
All the other fled, but the forces of Katoch felt excited. 53.

ਕੋਪਿਕਟੋਚਿਸਬੈਮਿਲਿਧਾਏ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਕਟੋਚੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਧਾਵਾ ਬੋਲਿਆ।
ਹਿੰਮਤਿਕਿੰਮਤਿਸਹਿਤਰਿਸਾਏ॥
ਹਿੰਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਿੰਮਤ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਰੋਸ ਕੀਤਾ।
All the soldiers of Katoch with great anger together with Himmat and Kimmat.
ਹਰੀਸਿੰਘਤਬਕੀਯਾਉਠਾਨਾ॥
ਤਦ ਹਰੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਚੁਨਿਚੁਨਿਹਨੇਪਖਰੀਯਾਜੁਆਨਾ॥੫੪॥
ਅਤੇ ਚੁਣ ਚੁਣ ਕੇ ਘੋੜ-ਸਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੫੪॥
Then Hari Singh, who came forward, killed many brave horsemen.54

ਤਬੈਕਟੋਚਕੋਪੀਯੰ॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਕਟੋਚਾਂ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ
ਸੰਭਾਰਪਾਵਰੋਪੀਯੰ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸੰਭਲ ਕੇ (ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ) ਪੈਰ ਗਡ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
Then the Raja of Katoch became furious and stood firmly in the field.
ਸਰਕਸਸਤ੍ਰਝਾਰਹੀ॥
ਸਰਕ ਸਰਕ ਕਰਦੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ
ਸੁਮਾਰਿਮਾਰਿਉਚਾਰਹੀ॥੫੫॥
ਅਤੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ 'ਮਾਰੋ-ਮਾਰੋ' ਬੋਲਦੇ ਸਨ ॥੫੫॥
He used his weapons unerringly shouting death (for the enemy).55.
ਚੰਦੇਲਚੌਪੀਯੰਤਬੈ॥
ਤਦੋਂ (ਹੁਸੈਨੀ ਦੀ ਮੱਦਦ ਨੂੰ ਆਏ) ਚੰਦੇਲ ਰਾਜਪੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਵੀ ਜੰਗ ਦਾ) ਚਾਉ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ।
ਰਿਸਾਤਧਾਤਭੇਸਬੈ॥
ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਨੇ ਧਾਵਾ ਬੋਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
(From the other side) the Raja of Chandel got enraged and attacked all in a body with indignation.
ਜਿਤੇਗਏਸੁਮਾਰੀਯੰ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ (ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਗਏ) ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ।
ਬਚੇਤਿਤੇਸਿਧਾਰੀਯੰ॥੫੬॥
ਉਥੇ ਉਹੀ ਬਚੇ (ਜੋ ਜੰਗ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਖਿਸਕ ਗਏ ਸਨ ॥੫੬॥
Those who faced him were killed and those who remained behind, ran away.56.
ਦੋਹਰਾ॥

ਸਾਤਸਵਾਰਨਕੈਸਹਿਤਜੂਝੇਸੰਗਤਰਾਇ॥
ਸੱਤਾਂ ਸਵਾਰਾਂ ਸਹਿਤ ਸੰਗਤ ਰਾਇ ਵੀ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
(Sangita Singh) died with his seven companions.
ਦਰਸੋਸੁਨਿਜੁਝੈਤਿਨੈਬਹੁਰਿਜੁਝਤਭਯੋਆਇ॥੫੭॥
ਦਰਸੋ (ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੇ) ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੂਝਣ ਦੀ (ਖ਼ਬਰ) ਸੁਣੀ (ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਵੀ) ਬਹੁਤ ਲੜਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ॥੫੭॥
When Darsho came to know of it, he also came in the field and died. 57.
ਹਿੰਮਤਹੂੰਉਤਰਿਯੋਤਹਾਬੀਰਖੇਤਮਝਾਰ॥
ਉਥੇ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਵੀ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਗਿਆ।
Then Himmat came in the battlefield.
ਕੇਤਨਕੇਤਨਿਘਾਇਸਹਿਕੇਤਨਿਕੇਤਨਿਝਾਰਿ॥੫੮॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਕਿਤਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਜਖ਼ਮ ਸਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ (ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ) ਦੇ ਵਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ॥੫੮॥
He received several wounds and struck his weapons on several others.58.
ਬਾਜਤਹਾਜੂਝਤਭਯੋਹਿੰਮਤਗਯੋਪਰਾਇ॥
(ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਘੋੜਾ ਉਥੇ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਹਿੰਮਤ (ਆਪ) ਭਜ ਗਿਆ।
His horse was killed there, but Himmat fled.
ਲੋਥਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲਹਿਕੀਨਮਿਤਕੋਪਿਪਰੇਅਰਿਰਾਇ॥੫੯॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਚੰਦ ਦੀ ਲੋਥ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਵੈਰੀ-ਰਾਜੇ (ਭੀਮ ਚੰਦ ਆਦਿ) ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ ॥੫੯॥
The warriors of Katoch came with great rage in order ot take away the dead body of their Raja Kirpal.59.

ਬਲੀਬੈਰਰੁਝੈ॥
ਸੂਰਮੇ ਵੈਰ (ਕੱਢਣ ਲਈ) ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿਰ ਰੁਝ ਗਏ
ਸਮੁਹਿਸਾਰਜੁਝੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਜੂਝਣ ਲਗੇ।
The warriors are busy in wreaking vengeance, they become martyrs facing the sword.
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਰਾਮਗਾਜੀ॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਰਾਮ ਸੂਰਮਾ (ਅਜਿਹਾ) ਲੜਿਆ
ਲਰਿਯੋਸੈਨਭਾਜੀ॥੬੦॥
ਕਿ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਭਜ ਗਈ ॥੬੦॥
The warrior Kirpa Ram fought so severely that all the army seems running away. 60.
ਮਹਾਸੈਨਗਾਹੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਵਡੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਤਾੜਦਾ ਹੈ
ਨ੍ਰਿਭੈਸਸਤ੍ਰਬਾਹੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਭੈ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਚਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
He tramples the big army and strikes his weapon fearlessly.
