ਤਹਾਖਾਨਨੈਜਾਬਤੈਆਨਕੈਕੈ॥
ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਨਜ਼ਾਬਤ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ
ਹਨਿਓਸਾਹਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮਕੋਸਸਤ੍ਰਲੈਕੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸੰਗੋਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ।
Then Najabat Khan came forward and struck Sango Shah with his weapons.
ਕਿਤੈਖਾਨਬਾਨੀਨਹੂੰਅਸਤ੍ਰਝਾਰੇ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਸ) ਬਾਂਕੇ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਉਤੇ ਕਿਤਨੇ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਚਲਾਏ
ਸਹੀਸਾਹਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮਸੁਰਗੰਸਿਧਾਰੇ॥੨੨॥
ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੰਗੋ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਸੁਅਰਗ ਸਿਧਾਰ ਗਿਆ ॥੨੨॥
Several skillful Khans fell on him with their arms and sent Shah Sangram to heaven.22.

ਮਾਰਿਨਿਜਾਬਤਖਾਨਕੋਸੰਗੋਜੁਝੈਜੁਝਾਰ॥
ਨਜ਼ਾਬਤ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਜੁਝਾਰੂ ਸੰਗੋ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਵੀ ਜੂਝ ਮਰਿਆ।
The brave warrior Sago Shah fell down after killing Najbat Khan.
ਹਾਹਾਇਹਲੋਕੈਭਇਓਸੁਰਗਲੋਕਜੈਕਾਰ॥੨੩॥
(ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਰਨ ਨਾਲ) ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਹਾ-ਹਾਕਾਰ ਮਚ ਗਿਆ, ਪਰ ਸੁਅਰਗ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਜੈ-ਜੈਕਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਲਗ ਪਿਆ ॥੨੩॥
There were lamentations in his world and rejoicing in heaven.23.

ਲਖੈਸਾਹਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮਜੁਝੇਜੁਝਾਰੰ॥
ਸੰਗੋ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਲੜਦਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੀਰ-ਗਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ,
ਤਵੰਕੀਟਬਾਣੰਕਮਾਣੰਸੰਭਾਰੰ॥
ਤੁਹਾਡੇ (ਇਸ) ਕੀਟ (ਭਾਵ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤੀਰ ਕਮਾਨ ਫੜੀ
When this lowly person saw Shah Sangram falling (while fighting bravely) he held aloft his bow and arrows.
ਹਨਿਯੋਏਕਖਾਨੰਖਿਆਲੰਖਤੰਗੰ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਤ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਇਕ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਤੀਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਡਸਿਯੋਸਤ੍ਰਕੋਜਾਨੁਸ੍ਯਾਮੰਭੁਜੰਗੰ॥੨੪॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲੇ ਸੱਪ ਨੇ ਡਸ ਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੨੪॥
He, fixing his gaze on a Khan, shot an arrow, which stung the enemy like a black cobra, who (the Khan) fell down.24.
ਗਿਰਿਯੋਭੂਮਿਸੋਬਾਣਦੂਜੋਸੰਭਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗ ਪਿਆ (ਅਤੇ ਅਸਾਂ) ਦੂਜਾ ਬਾਣ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ
ਮੁਖੰਭੀਖਨੰਖਾਨਕੇਤਾਨਿਮਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਅਤੇ ਭੀਖਨ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਦੇ ਮੁਖ ਵਿਚ ਕਸ ਕੇ ਮਾਰਿਆ।
He drew out another arrow and aimed and shot it on the face of Bhikhan Khan.
ਭਜਿਯੋਖਾਨਖੂਨੀਰਹਿਯੋਖੇਤਿਤਾਜੀ॥
(ਉਹ) ਖ਼ੂਨਖ਼ਾਰ ਖ਼ਾਨ (ਆਪ ਤਾਂ) ਭਜ ਗਿਆ (ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਘੋੜਾ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਰਿਹਾ।
ਤਜੇਪ੍ਰਾਣਤੀਜੇਲਗੈਬਾਣਬਾਜੀ॥੨੫॥
(ਸਾਡੇ) ਤੀਜੇ ਬਾਣ ਦੇ ਲਗਣ ਨਾਲ ਘੋੜੇ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੱਤੇ ॥੨੫॥
The bloody Khan fled away leaving his horse in the field, who was killed with the third arrow.25.
ਛੁਟੀਮੂਰਛਨਾਹਰੀਚੰਦੰਸੰਭਾਰੋ॥
(ਇਤਨੀ ਦੇਰ ਵਿਚ) ਹਰੀ ਚੰਦ ਦੀ ਬੇਹੋਸ਼ੀ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ (ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ) ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ
ਗਹੇਬਾਣਕਾਮਾਣਭੇਐਚਮਾਰੇ॥
ਅਤੇ ਤੀਰ-ਕਮਾਨ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਖਿਚ ਖਿਚ ਕੇ ਤੀਰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਗਿਆ।
After regaining consciousness from the swoon, Hari Chand shot his arrows with unerring aim.
ਲਗੇਅੰਗਿਜਾਕੇਰਹੇਨਸੰਭਾਰੰ॥
(ਉਸ ਦੇ ਤੀਰ) ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ (ਅੰਗ) ਵਿਚ ਲਗੇ, (ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ) ਸੰਭਾਲ ਨਾ ਸਕਿਆ
ਤਨੰਤਿਆਗਤੇਦੇਵਲੋਕੰਪਧਾਰੰ॥੨੬॥
ਅਤੇ ਦੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਸੁਅਰਗ ਸਿਧਾਰ ਗਿਆ ॥੨੬॥
Whosoever was struck, fell down unconscious, and leaving his body, went to the heavenly abode.26.
ਦੁਯੰਬਾਣਖੈਚੇਇਕੰਬਾਰਿਮਾਰੇ॥
(ਉਹ) ਦੋ ਦੋ ਬਾਣ ਇਕੋ ਵੇਲੇ ਖਿਚ ਕੇ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਸੀ
ਬਲੀਬੀਰਬਾਜੀਨਤਾਜੀਬਿਦਾਰੇ॥
ਅਤੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਬੀ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹੀ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
He aimed and shot two arrows at the same time and did not care for the selection of his target.
ਜਿਸੈਬਾਨਲਾਗੈਰਹੇਨਸੰਭਾਰੰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੀਰ ਲਗਦਾ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ (ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਦੀ) ਸੰਭਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਸੀ
ਤਨੰਬੇਧਿਕੈਤਾਹਿਪਾਰੰਸਿਧਾਰੰ॥੨੭॥
ਅਤੇ (ਤੀਰ) ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਪਾਰ ਨਿਕਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ ॥੨੭॥
Whosoever was struck and pierced by his arrow, went straight to the other world.27.
ਸਬੈਸ੍ਵਾਮਿਧਰਮੰਸੁਬੀਰੰਸੰਭਾਰੇ॥
ਸਾਰਿਆ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਧਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ।
ਡਕੀਡਾਕਣੀਭੂਤਪ੍ਰੇਤੰਬਕਾਰੇ॥
ਡਾਕਣੀਆਂ ਡਕਾਰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਭੂਤਾਂ-ਪ੍ਰੇਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਡੰਡ ਪਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।
The warriors remained true to their duty in the field, the witches and ghosts drank blood to their fill and raised shrill voices.
ਹਸੈਬੀਰਬੈਤਾਲਔਸੁਧਸਿਧੰ॥
ਬੀਰ-ਬੈਤਾਲ ਅਤੇ (ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦੇ) ਸਿੱਧ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਸ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
ਚਵੀਚਾਵੰਡੀਯੰਉਡੀਗਿਧਬ੍ਰਿਧੰ॥੨੮॥
ਚਾਮੁੰਡੀਆਂ ਚਿਕਾਰੇ ਮਾਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਗਿੱਧਾਂ ਉਡ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ ॥੨੮॥
The Birs (heroic spirits), Baitals (ghosts) and Siddhs (adepts) laughed, the witches were talking and huge kites were flying (for meat).28.
ਹਰੀਚੰਦਕੋਪੇਕਮਾਣੰਸੰਭਾਰੰ॥
ਹਰੀ ਚੰਦ ਨੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਕਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਿਆ
ਪ੍ਰਥਮਬਾਜੀਯੰਤਾਣਬਾਣੰਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੰ॥
ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਤੀਰ ਦਾ ਵਾਰ ਕਸ ਕੇ (ਸਾਡੇ) ਘੋੜੇ ਉਤੇ ਕੀਤਾ।
Hari Chand, filled with rage, drew out his bow, he aimed and shot his arrow, which struck my horse.
ਦੁਤੀਯਤਾਕਕੈਤੀਰਮੋਕੋਚਲਾਯੋ॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਦੂਜਾ ਤੀਰ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਤ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਚਲਾਇਆ।
ਰਖਿਓਦਈਵਮੈਕਾਨਿਛ੍ਵੈਕੈਸਿਧਾਯੰ॥੨੯॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ (ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੀਰ ਮੇਰੇ) ਕੰਨ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਹ ਕੇ ਲੰਘ ਗਿਆ ॥੨੯॥
He aimed and shot the second arrow towards me, the Lord protected me, his arrow only grazed my ear. 29.
ਤ੍ਰਿਤੀਯਬਾਣਮਾਰਿਯੋਸੁਪੇਟੀਮਝਾਰੰ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਤੀਜਾ ਬਾਣ ਪੇਟੀ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰਿਆ
ਬਿਧਿਅੰਚਿਲਕਤੰਦੁਆਲਪਾਰੰਪਧਾਰੰ॥
ਜੋ 'ਚਿਲਕਤ' (ਰੇਸ਼ਮੀ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ) ਨੂੰ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਪੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਤਸਮੇ ('ਦੁਆਲ') ਤੋਂ ਪਰਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਨਿਕਲ ਗਿਆ।
His third arrow penetrated deep into the buckle of my waist-belt.
ਚੁਭੀਚਿੰਚਚਰਮੰਕਛੂਘਾਇਨਆਯੰ॥
(ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਚੁੰਜ ਤਵੱਚਾ ਵਿਚ ਚੁਭੀ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮ ਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
ਕਲੰਕੇਵਲੰਜਾਨਦਾਸੰਬਚਾਯੰ॥੩੦॥
ਕੇਵਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਕਲੰ) ਨੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਦਾਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਬਚਾਈ ॥੩੦॥
Its edge touched the body, but did not caused a wound, the Lord saved his servent.30.

RASAAVAL STANZA
ਜਬੈਬਾਣਲਾਗ੍ਯੋ॥
(ਸਾਨੂੰ) ਜਦੋਂ ਬਾਣ ਲਗਿਆ,
ਤਬੈਰੋਸਜਾਗ੍ਯੋ॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਰੋਹ ਜਾਗ ਪਿਆ।
When the edge of the arrow touched my body, it kindled my resentment.
ਕਰੰਲੈਕਮਾਣੰ॥
(ਅਸਾਂ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਕਮਾਨ ਲੈ ਕੇ
ਹਨੰਬਾਣਤਾਣੰ॥੩੧॥
ਖਿਚ ਕੇ ਤੀਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ॥੩੧॥
I took the bow in my hand and aimed and shot the arrow.31.
ਸਬੈਬੀਰਧਾਏ॥
(ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ) ਬਹੁਤੇ ਤੀਰ ਚਲਾਏ
ਸਰੋਘੰਚਲਾਏ॥
ਤਾਂ (ਵੈਰੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਭਜ ਗਏ
All the warriors fled, when a volley of arrow was showered.
ਤਬੈਤਾਕਿਬਾਣੰ॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਤ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ (ਅਸੀਂ) ਤੀਰ (ਚਲਾਇਆ)
ਹਨ੍ਯੋਏਕਜੁਆਣੰ॥੩੨॥
ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਜੁਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੩੨॥
Then I aimed the arrow on a warrior and killed him.32.
ਹਰੀਚੰਦਮਾਰੇ॥
ਹਰੀ ਚੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਲਿਆ,
ਸੁਜੋਧਾਲਤਾਰੇ॥
(ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਤਾੜ ਸੁਟਿਆ।
Hari Chand was killed and his brave soldiers were trampled.
ਸੁਕਾਰੋੜਰਾਯੰ॥
(ਜੋ) ਕਾਰੋੜ ਰਾਇ (ਨਾਂ ਦਾ) ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ,
