ਦਿਗ਼ਰਰੋਜ਼ਰਫ਼ਤੰਦਜ਼ਉਜਹਫਲਾ॥
ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਇਸਤਰੀ (ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ) ਗਈ
The same wife went to (the king) next day and said,
ਮਰਾਖ਼ਾਬਦਾਦਹਬਜ਼ੁਰਗੇਹੁਮਾ॥੪੦॥
ਅਤੇ ਦਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਨੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਦਸਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੪੦॥
‘In my dream I had a vision of a pious man,(40)
ਤੁਰਾਮਨਕਿਫ਼ਰਜ਼ੰਦਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀਦਹਅਮ॥
ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਲੜਕਾ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ ਹੈ,
‘(Who said), “I have endowed you the son,
ਚਰਾਗ਼ੇਕਯਾਰਾਦਰਖ਼ਸ਼ੀਦਹਅਮ॥੪੧॥
ਉਹ (ਅਸਲੋਂ) ਕਿਆਨ ਖ਼ਾਨਦਾਨ ਦਾ ਦੀਵਾ ਜਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੪੧॥
‘“I have done so to edify the glory of Kian Clan.’”(41)
ਜ਼ਿਗੰਜੋਜ਼ਰਸ਼ਗੌਹਰੋਤਖ਼ਤਦਾਦ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ, ਸੋਨਾ, ਮੋਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ
The king kept the boy at home and
ਵਜ਼ਾਪਿਸਰਰਾਖ਼ਾਨਹੇਖ਼ੁਦਨਿਹਾਦ॥੪੨॥
ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਲੜਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਰਖ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ॥੪੨॥
Gave him the treasure, gold, diamond and the throne,(42)
ਬਗੁਫ਼ਤਸ਼ਕਿਈਂਰਾਜ਼ਿਦਰੀਆਫ਼ਤਮ॥
ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ (ਵਜ਼ੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਲੜਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
And said, ‘As I have secured him through the river,
ਕਿਦਾਰਾਬਨਾਮਸ਼ਅਜ਼ੋਸਾਖ਼ਤਮ॥੪੩॥
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ 'ਦਾਰਾਬ' ਰਖਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੪੩॥
‘I name him, Darab (the river).(43)
ਕਿਸ਼ਾਹੀਜਹਾਰਾਬਦੋਮੇਦਿਹੰਮ॥
ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ
‘I bestow upon him the temporal kingdom,
ਵਜ਼ਾਤਾਜਇਕਬਾਲਬਰਸਰਨਿਹਮ॥੪੪॥
ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਇਕਬਾਲ ਵਾਲਾ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਰਖਦੀ ਹਾਂ ॥੪੪॥
‘And I crown him with regal honour and imperial fly-whisk.(44)
ਮਰਾਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਤਰਆਮਦਅਜ਼ਾਸੂਰਤਸ਼॥
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸੂਰਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗੀ ਲਗਦੀ ਹੈ।
‘I admire his status,
ਕਿਹੁਸਨਲਜਮਾਲਅਸਤਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਸੂਰਤਸ਼॥੪੫॥
ਇਸ ਦਾ ਸਰੂਪ ਬੜਾ ਤੇਜਸਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ ॥੪੫॥
‘Because his posture is majestic.”(45)
ਕਿਅਜ਼ਸ਼ਾਹਿਓਚੂੰਖ਼ਬਰਯਾਫ਼ਤਸ਼॥
ਜਦ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ
(The washerwoman) learned, as well, that he had become a king,
ਕਿਦਾਰਾਬਨਾਮੇਮੁਕਰਰਾਸ਼ੁਦਸ਼॥੪੬॥
ਅਤੇ ਨਾਂ 'ਦਾਰਾਬ' ਰਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ (ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਆਨੰਦਿਤ ਹੋਇਆ) ॥੪੬॥
And that he was given the name, Darab.(46)
ਅਜ਼ਾਸ਼ੇਰਸ਼ੁਦਸ਼ਾਹਿਦਾਰਾਇਦੀਂ॥
ਉਹ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਰਖਿਅਕ ਬਣਿਆ।
The gallant one promoted the righteous rule,
ਹਕੀਕਤਸ਼ਨਾਸਅਸਤੁਐਨੁਲਯਕੀਂ॥੪੭॥
ਸਚ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਇਰਾਦੇ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ ॥੪੭॥
Because he was the seeker of truth, and he believed in virtuosity.(47)
ਬਿਦਿਹਸਾਕੀਯਾਸਾਗ਼ਰੇਸੁਰਖ਼ਫ਼ਾਮ॥
ਹੇ ਸਾਕੀ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲਾਲ ਰੰਗ (ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ)
(The poet says,) ‘Oh! Saki, give me green wine to drink,
ਕਿਮਾਰਾਬਕਾਰਅਸਤਵਕਤੇਮੁਦਾਮ॥੪੮॥
ਦਾ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪੮॥
‘Because the Master is intelligent enough, and is known all over.(48)
ਬਿਦਿਹਪਿਯਾਲਹਫ਼ੇਰੋਜ਼ਰੰਗੀਨਰੰਗ॥
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੀਰੋਜ਼ੀ ਰੰਗ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼
‘Saki! Give me the cup full of greenish (liquid),
ਕਿਮਾਰਾਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਆਮਦਬਸੇਵਕਤਜੰਗ॥੪੯॥੭॥
ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜੰਗ ਵੇਲੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪੯॥੭॥
‘Which soothes during the wars and the lonely nights.’(49)
ੴਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂਜੀਕੀਫ਼ਤਹ॥
The Lord is One and the Victory is of the True Guru.
ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿੰਦਹੇਦਿਲਕਰਾਰ॥
ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
God endows tranquillity,
ਰਜ਼ਾਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਰੋਜ਼ੀਦਿਹੋਨੌਬਹਾਰ॥੧॥
ਰਜ਼ਾ (ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ) ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਰੋਜ਼ੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
He grants the will to believe, provides living and contentment.(1)
ਕਿਮੀਰਅਸਤਪੀਰਅਸਤਹਰਦੋਜਹਾ॥
ਉਹ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਦੋਹਾਂ ਜਹਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਰ ਹੈ।
He is Sovereign of both the worlds,
