ਗੁੰਜਤਗੂੜ੍ਹਗਜਾਨਕੇਸੁੰਦਰਹਿੰਸਤਹੈਂਹਯਰਾਜਹਜਾਰੇ॥
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਚਿੰਘਾੜਦੇ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਹੀ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਘੋੜੇ ਹਿਣਕਦੇ ਹੋਣ;
Along with many beautiful roaring elephants and thousands of neighing houses of best breed.
ਭੂਤਭਵਿੱਖਭਵਾਨਕੇਭੂਪਤਿਕਉਨੁਗਨੈਨਹੀਂਜਾਤਬਿਚਾਰੇ॥
(ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਵਾਲੇ) ਭੂਤ, ਭਵਿਖ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਕਾਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਤਨੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਚਾਰਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਹਨ);
Such like emperors of the past, present and future cannot be counted and ascertained.
ਸ੍ਰੀਪਤਿਸ੍ਰੀਭਗਵਾਨਭਜੇਬਿਨੁਅੰਤਕਉਅੰਤਕੇਧਾਮਸਿਧਾਰੇ॥੩॥੨੩॥
ਪਰ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਅੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਯਮਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੩॥੨੩॥
But without remembering the Name of the Lord, they ultimately leave for their final abode. 3.23.
ਤੀਰਥਨ੍ਹਾਨਦਇਆਦਮਦਾਨਸੁਸੰਜਮਨੇਮਅਨੇਕਬਿਸੇਖੇ॥
(ਜੇ ਕੋਈ) ਤੀਰਥ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ, ਦਇਆ, ਦਾਨ, (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਣ ਦੇ) ਸੰਜਮ, ਨੇਮ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ;
Taking bath at holy places, exercising mercy, controlling passions, performing acts of charity, practicing austerity and many special rituals.
ਬੇਦਪੁਰਾਨਕਤੇਬਕੁਰਾਨਜ਼ਿਮੀਨਜ਼ਮਾਨਸਬਾਨਕੇਪੇਖੇ॥
ਵੇਦਾਂ, ਪੁਰਾਣਾਂ, ਕਤੇਬਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਰਾਨ ਆਦਿ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਦੇ (ਧਰਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਘੋਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ;
Studying of Vedas, Puranas and holy Quran and scanning all this world and the next world.
ਪਉਨਅਹਾਰਜਤੀਜਤਧਾਰਿਸਬੈਸੁਬਿਚਾਰਹਜਾਰਕਦੇਖੇ॥
ਪੌਣ ਦਾ ਆਹਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਤ-ਸਤ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਜਤੀ ਬਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਹੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਵੇਖੇ ਹਨ;
Subsisting only on air, practicing continence and meeting thousands of persons of all good thoughts.
ਸ੍ਰੀਭਗਵਾਨਭਜੇਬਿਨੁਭੂਪਤਿਏਕਰਤੀਬਿਨੁਏਕਨਲੇਖੈ॥੪॥੨੪॥
ਪਰ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਭਜਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ('ਰਤੀ') ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਰਾਜੇ ਵੀ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਰ ਤੇ) ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ॥੪॥੨੪॥
But O King! Without the remembrance of the Name of the Lord, all this is of no account, being without an iota of the Grace of the Lord. 4.24.
ਸੁੱਧਸਿਪਾਹਦੁਰੰਤਦੁਬਾਹਸੁਸਾਜਿਸਨਾਹਦੁਰਜਾਨਦਲੈਂਗੇ॥
ਚੰਗੀ ਸਿਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਫੌਜ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ (ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ) ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਤ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕਵਚ ਸਜਾ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋਣ;
The trained soldiers, mightly and invincible, clad in coat of mail, who would be able to crush the enemies.
ਭਾਰੀਗੁਮਾਨਭਰੇਮਨਮੈਕਰਿਪਰਬਤਪੰਖਹਲੇਂਨਹਲੈਂਗੇ॥
ਉਹ (ਸ਼ੂਰਵੀਰ) ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਗੁਮਾਨ ਭਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋਣ ਕਿ ਪਰਬਤ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਖੰਭ ਲਾ ਕੇ (ਆਪਣੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ) ਹਿਲ ਜਾਣ, (ਪਰ ਉਹ ਯੋਧੇ ਰਣ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਹਿਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ;
With great ego in their mind that they would not be vanquished even if the mountains move with wings.
ਤੋਰਿਅਰੀਨਮਰੋਰਿਮਵਾਸਨਮਾਤੇਮਤੰਗਨਮਾਨਮਲੈਂਗੇ॥
ਉਹ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਬਾਗ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਰੋੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਸਤ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਸਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਲ ਸੁਟਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋਣ;
They would destroy the enemies, twist the rebels and smash the pride of intoxicated elephants.
ਸ੍ਰੀਪਤਿਸ੍ਰੀਭਗਵਾਨਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਬਿਨੁਤਿਆਗਿਜਹਾਨੁਨਿਦਾਨਿਚਲੈਂਗੇ॥੫॥੨੫॥
ਪਰ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਅਜਿਹੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਵੀ) ਅੰਤ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ॥੫॥੨੫॥
But without the Grace of the Lord-God, they would ultimately leave the world. 5.25.
ਬੀਰਅਪਾਰਬਡੇਬਰਿਆਰਅਬਿਚਾਰਹਿਸਾਰਕੀਧਾਰਭਛੱਯਾ॥
ਅਪਾਰ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ੂਰਵੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਜੋ ਬਿਨਾ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ (ਸੰਕੋਚ ਕੀਤੇ) ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ;
Innumerable brave and mighty heroes, fearlessly facing the edge of the sword.
ਤੋਰਤਦੇਸਮਲਿੰਦਮਵਾਸਨਮਾਤੇਗਜਾਨਕੇਮਾਨਮਲੱਯਾ॥
ਕਈ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਦੇ ਹਨ, ਬਾਗ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਲ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਸਤ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਮਲ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ;
Conquering the countries, subjugating the rebels and crushing the pride of the intoxicated elephants.
ਗਾੜ੍ਹੇਗੜ੍ਹਾਨਕੇਤੋੜਨਹਾਰਸੁਬਾਤਨਹੀਂਚਕਚਾਰਿਲਵੱਯਾ॥
ਜੋ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਕਿਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਜੋ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਚੱਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਰਖਦੇ ਹਨ;
Capturing the strong forts and conquering all sides with mere threats.
ਸਾਹਿਬੁਸ੍ਰੀਸਭਕੋਸਿਰਨਾਇਕੁਜਾਚਿਕਅਨੇਕਸੁਏਕੁਦਿਵੱਯਾ॥੬॥੨੬॥
ਪਰ ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ) ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਾਚਕ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਕ ਹੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੬॥੨੬॥
The Lord God is the Cammander of all and is the only Donor, the beggars are many. 6.26.
ਦਾਨਵਦੇਵਫਨਿੰਦਨਿਸਾਚਰਭੂਤਭਵਿਖਭਵਾਨਜਪੈਂਗੇ॥
ਦੈਂਤ, ਦੇਵ ਤੇ ਨਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਖਸ਼ ਵੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਕਾਲਾਂ (ਭੂਤ, ਭਵਿਖ, ਵਰਤਮਾਨ) ਵਿਚ ਜਪਦੇ ਹਨ;
Demons, gods, huge serpents, ghosts, past, present and future would repeat His Name.
ਜੀਵਜਿਤੇਜਲਮੈਥਲਮੈਪਲਹੀਪਲਮੈਸਭਥਾਪਥਪੈਂਗੇ॥
ਜੋ ਪਲ ਹੀ ਪਲ ਵਿਚ ਜਲ-ਥਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ;
All the creatures in the sea and on land would increase and the heaps of sins would be destroyed.
ਪੁੰਨਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਨਬਾਢਿਜੈਤਧੁਨਿਪਾਪਨਕੇਬਹੁਪੁੰਜਖਪੈਂਗੇ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੁੰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਤਾ ਵਧ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਜੈਘੋਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ;
The praises of the glories of virtues would increase and the heaps of sins would be destroyed
ਸਾਧਸਮੂਹਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਫਿਰੈਂਜਗਿਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁਸਭੈਅਵਿਲੋਕਿਚਪੈਂਗੇ॥੭॥੨੭॥
(ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਨੂੰ) ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਤਾ-ਪੂਰਵਕ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਲੋਕ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੭॥੨੭॥
All the saints would wander in the world with bliss and the enemies would be annoyed on seeing them.7.27.
ਮਾਨਵਇੰਦ੍ਰਗਜਿੰਦ੍ਰਨਰਾਧਿਪਜੌਨਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਕਕੋਰਾਜੁਕਰੈਂਗੇ॥
ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ, ਇੰਦਰ, ਗਜਿੰਦਰ, ਕੁਬੇਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਤਿੰਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ;
King of men and elephants, emperors who would rule over the three worlds.
ਕੋਟਿਇਸਨਾਨਗਜਾਦਿਕਦਾਨਿਅਨੇਕਸੁਅੰਬਰਸਾਜਿਬਰੈਂਗੇ॥
ਜੋ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਤੀਰਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਆਦਿ ਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਸੁਅੰਬਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ) ਵਰਦੇ ਹਨ;
Who would perform millions of ablutions, give elephants and other animals in charity and arrange many svayyamuaras (self-marriage functions) for weddings.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਮਹੇਸੁਰਬਿਸਨੁਸਚੀਪਤਿਅੰਤਿਫਸੇਜਮਫਾਸਿਪਰੈਂਗੇ॥
ਪਰ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ, ਮਹੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਣੂ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਦਰ (ਸਚੀ-ਪਤੀ) (ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ) ਅੰਤ ਵਿਚ ਜਮਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਫੰਧੇ ਵਿਚ ਫਸਦੇ ਹਨ;
Brahma, Shiva, Vishnu and Consort of Sachi (Indra) would ultimately fall in the noose of death.
ਜੇਨਰਸ੍ਰੀਪਤਿਕੇਪ੍ਰਸਹੈਂਪਗਤੇਨਰਫੇਰਿਨਦੇਹਧਰੈਂਗੇ॥੮॥੨੮॥
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਛੋਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਫਿਰ ਦੇਹ ਧਾਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ (ਭਾਵ ਆਵਾਗਵਣ ਦੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ) ॥੮॥੨੮॥
But those who fall at the feet of Lord-God, they would not appear again in physical form. 8.28.
ਕਹਾਭਯੋਜੋਦੋਊਲੋਚਨਮੂੰਦਿਕੈਬੈਠਿਰਹਿਓਬਕਧਿਆਨੁਲਗਾਇਓ॥
ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਗਲੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਧਿਆਨ ਲਗਾ ਲਿਆ;
Of what use it is if one sits and meditates like a crane with his eyes closed.
ਨ੍ਹਾਤਫਿਰਿਓਲੀਏਸਾਤਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰਨਲੋਕਗਇਓਪਰਲੋਕਗਵਾਇਓ॥
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ (ਉਮਰ ਭਰ) ਸੱਤ ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਫਿਰਿਆ (ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਮਝ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ) ਉਸ ਦਾ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵੀ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਗੰਵਾਂ ਲਿਆ;
If he takes bath at holy places upto the seventh sea, he loses this world and also the next world.
ਬਾਸੁਕੀਓਬਿਖਿਆਨਸੋਂਬੈਠਿਕੈਐਸੇਹੀਐਸੇਸੁਬੈਸਿਬਿਤਾਇਓ॥
ਬਾਨ-ਪ੍ਰਸਤੀ (ਬਿਖਿਆਨ-ਵੈਖਾਨਸ) ਹੋ ਕੇ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ (ਵਿਅਰਥ ਵਿਚ) ਬਿਤਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ;
He spends his life in such performing evil actions and wastes his life in such pursuits.
ਸਾਚੁਕਹੋਂਸੁਨਿਲੇਹੁਸਭੈਜਿਨਪ੍ਰੇਮੁਕੀਓਤਿਨਹੀਪ੍ਰਭੁਪਾਇਓ॥੯॥੨੯॥
(ਮੈਂ) ਸਚ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਸਾਰੇ (ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ) ਸੁਣ ਲਵੋ ਕਿ ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦਾ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੯॥੨੯॥
I speak Truth, all should turn their ears towards it: he, who is absorbed in True Love, he would realize the Lord. 9.29.
ਕਾਹੂਲੈਪਾਹਨੁਪੂਜਿਧਰਿਓਸਿਰਿਕਾਹੂਲੈਲਿੰਗੁਗਰੇਲਟਕਾਇਓ॥
ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਸਾਲਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਜ ਕੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਵਲਿੰਗ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਲਟਕਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ;
Someone worshipped stone and placed it on his head. Someone hung the phallus (lingam) from his neck.
ਕਾਹੂਲਖਿਓਹਰਿਅਵਾਚੀਦਿਸਾਮਹਿਕਾਹੂਪਛਾਹਕੌਸੀਸੁਨਿਵਾਇਓ॥
ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਬ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਪੱਛਮ ਵਲ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾਇਆ ਹੈ;
Someone visualized God in the South and someone bowed his head towards the West.
ਕੋਊਬੁਤਾਨਕੌਪੂਜਤਹੈਪਸੁਕੋਊਮ੍ਰਿਤਾਨਕੌਪੂਜਨਧਾਇਓ॥
ਕੋਈ ਮੂਰਖ ਬੁਤਾਂ (ਮੂਰਤੀ) ਨੂੰ ਪੂਜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਜਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ;
Some fool worships the idols and someone goes to worship the dead.
ਕੂਰਕ੍ਰਿਆਉਰਝਿਓਸਭਹੀਜਗੁਸ੍ਰੀਭਗਵਾਨਕੋਭੇਦੁਨਪਾਇਓ॥੧੦॥੩੦॥
ਸਾਰਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਕੂੜੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਵਿਚ ਉਲਝਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਭੇਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੦॥੩੦॥
The whole world is entangled in false rituals and has not known the secret of Lord-God 10.30.

ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਜਨਮ-ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
The Lord is sans birth and death,
ਦਸਚਾਰਚਾਰਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ॥
ਅਠਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਵਾਂ (ਚਾਰ ਵੇਦ, ਛੇ ਵੇਦਾਂਗ, ਮੀਮਾਂਸਾ, ਨਿਆਇ, ਪੁਰਾਣ, ਸਮ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ, ਆਯੁਰਵੇਦ, ਧਨੁਰਵੇਦ, ਗੰਧਰਵ ਵੇਦ ਅਤੇ ਨੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ) ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ਹੈ,
He is skiful in all eighteen sciences.
ਅਕਲੰਕਰੂਪਅਪਾਰ॥
ਨਿਸ਼ਕਲੰਕ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਪਰ ਅਪਾਰ ਹੈ,
That unblemished Entity is Infinite,
ਅਨਛਿੱਜਤੇਜਉਦਾਰ॥੧॥੩੧॥
ਉਸ ਉਦਾਰ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਾ ਤੇਜ ਕਦੇ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ॥੧॥੩੧॥
His Benevolent Glory is Everlasting. 1.31.
ਅਨਭਿੱਜਰੂਪਦੁਰੰਤ॥
(ਉਹ) ਅਭਿਜ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਭ ਵਿਚ ਲੁਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ (ਦੁਰੰਤ) ਹੈ,
His Unaffected Entity is All-Pervasive,
ਸਭਜਗਤਭਗਤਮਹੰਤ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਰੋਮਣੀ ਹੈ,
He is the Supreme Lord of the saints of all the world.
ਜਸਤਿਲਕਭੂਭ੍ਰਿਤਭਾਨ॥
ਜਸ ਦਾ ਟਿਕਾ ਹੈ, ਭੂਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ (ਭ੍ਰਿਤ) ਹੈ,
He is the frontal mark of Glory and life-giver sun of the earth,
ਦਸਚਾਰਚਾਰਨਿਧਾਨ॥੨॥੩੨॥
ਅਠਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿੱਧੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੩੨॥
He is the Treasure of eighteen sciences. 2.32.
ਅਕਲੰਕਰੂਪਅਪਾਰ॥
(ਉਹ) ਕਲੰਕ-ਰਹਿਤ ਅਪਰ ਅਪਾਰ ਹੈ,
He, the Unblemished Entity is Infinite,
ਸਭਲੋਕਸੋਕਬਿਦਾਰ॥
ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ,
He is the destroyer of sufferings of all the worlds.
ਕਲਕਾਲਕਰਮਬਿਹੀਨ॥
ਕਲਿਯੁਗ ਦੇ ਕਰਮਕਾਂਡਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ
He is without the rituals of Iron age,
ਸਭਕਰਮਧਰਮਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ॥੩॥੩੩॥
ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮ-ਕਰਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ਹੈ ॥੩॥੩੩॥
He is an adept in all religious works. 3.33.
ਅਨਖੰਡਅਤੁਲਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ॥
(ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਅਖੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਅਤੁਲ (ਨ ਤੁਲਨਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਹੈ,
His Glory is Indivisible and Inestimable,
ਸਭਥਾਪਿਓਜਿਹਥਾਪ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਸਭ ਸਥਾਪਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰ ਰਖਿਆ ਹੈ,
He is the Establisher of all the institutions.
ਅਨਖੇਦਭੇਦਅਛੇਦ॥
(ਉਸ) ਖੇਦ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਦਾ ਭੇਦ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ;
He is Indestructible with Imperishable mysteries,
ਮੁਖਚਾਰਗਾਵਤਬੇਦ॥੪॥੩੪॥
ਚਾਰ ਮੁਖਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਵੇਦਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੩੪॥
and the four-handed Brahma sings the Vedas. 4.34.
ਜਿਹਨੇਤਨਿਗਮਕਹੰਤ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਦ ('ਨਿਗਮ') ਨੇਤਿ ਨੇਤਿ (ਬੇਅੰਤ ਬੇਅੰਤ) ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
To Him, the Nigam (Vedas) call "Neti" (Not this).
ਮੁਖਚਾਰਬਕਤਬਿਅੰਤ॥
ਚਾਰ ਮੁਖਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਦਸਦਾ ਹੈ,
The four-handed Brahma Speak of Him as Unlimited.
ਅਨਭਿੱਜਅਤੁਲਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ॥
ਜੋ ਅਭਿਜ (ਨਿਰਲਿਪਤ) ਅਤੇ ਅਤੁਲ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ,
His Glory is Unaffected and Inestimable,
ਅਨਖੰਡਅਮਿਤਅਥਾਪ॥੫॥੩੫॥
ਉਹ ਨਾ ਖੰਡਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸੀਮਾ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੫॥੩੫॥
He is Undivided, Unlimited and Un-established. 5.35.
ਜਿਹਕੀਨਜਗਤਪਸਾਰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਪਸਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ,
He, who hath created the expanse of the world,
ਰਚਿਓਬਿਚਾਰਬਿਚਾਰ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਇਕ) ਵਿਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਚਾਰਪੂ ਰਵਕ ਰਚਿਆ ਹੈ,
He hath Created it in full Consciousness.
ਅਨੰਤਰੂਪਅਖੰਡ॥
ਜੋ ਅਨੰਤ ਅਤੇ ਅਖੰਡ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ
His Infinite Form is Indivisible,
ਅਤੁਲਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ॥੬॥੩੬॥
ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਅਤੁਲ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਹੈ ॥੬॥੩੬॥
His Immeasurable Glory is Powerful 6.36.
ਜਿਹਅੰਡਤੇਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਅੰਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮੰਡ (ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ)
He, who hath Created the universe from the Cosmic egg,
ਕੀਨੇਸੁਚੌਦਹਖੰਡ॥
ਫਿਰ ਚੌਦਾਂ ਖੰਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਜਿਆ ਹੈ
He hath Created the fourteen regions.
ਸਭਕੀਨਜਗਤਪਸਾਰ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਪਸਾਰ ਪਸਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ,
He hath Created all the expanse of the world.
ਅਬਿਯਕਤਰੂਪਉਦਾਰ॥੭॥੩੭॥
(ਉਹ) ਅਵਿਅਕਤ (ਅਕਥਨੀ) ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਉਦਾਰ ਹੈ ॥੭॥੩੭॥
That Benevolent Lord is Unmanifested. 7.37.
ਜਿਹਕੋਟਿਇੰਦ੍ਰਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਇੰਦਰ ਵਰਗੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਹਨ
He, who hath Created millions of king Indras,
ਕਈਬ੍ਰਹਮਬਿਸਨਬਿਚਾਰ॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ, ਵਿਸ਼ਣੂ ਦੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਪੂਰਵਕ (ਰਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ)
He hath Created many Brahmas and Vishnus after consideration.
ਕਈਰਾਮਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਰਸੂਲ॥
ਕਈ ਰਾਮ, ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਣ, ਰਸੂਲ ਆਦਿ (ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ)
He hath Created many Ramas, Krishnas and Rasuls (Prophets),
ਬਿਨੁਭਗਤਕੋਨਕਬੂਲ॥੮॥੩੮॥
ਪਰ ਬਿਨਾ ਭਗਤੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਰ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ॥੮॥੩੮॥
none of them is approved by the Lord without devotion. 8.38.
ਕਈਸਿੰਧਬਿੰਧਨਗਿੰਦ੍ਰ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ, ਸੁਮੇਰ ਵਰਗੇ ਪਰਬਤ (ਬਣਾਏ ਹਨ)
Created many oceans and mountains like Vindhyachal;
ਕਈਮੱਛਕੱਛਫਨਿੰਦ੍ਰ॥
ਕਈ ਮੱਛ, ਕੱਛ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਨਾਗ (ਰਚੇ ਹਨ)
many fish incarnations, tortoise incarnations and Sheshanagas.
ਕਈਦੇਵਆਦਿਕੁਮਾਰ॥
ਕਈ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਕਾਦਿਕ (ਸਿਰਜੇ ਹਨ)
Created many gods, and Adi Kumars, sons of Brahma (Sanak, Sanandan, Sanatan and Sant Kumar),
ਕਈਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਬਿਸਨਅਵਤਾਰ॥੯॥੩੯॥
ਕਈ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਣ, ਵਿਸ਼ਣੂ ਆਦਿ ਅਵਤਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਵਤਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੯॥੩੯॥
many Krishnas and incarnations of Vishnu.9.39.
ਕਈਇੰਦ੍ਰਬਾਰਬੁਹਾਰ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਰ ਉਤੇ ਕਈ ਇੰਦਰ ਝਾੜੂ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
Many Indras sweep at His door.
ਕਈਬੇਦਅਉਮੁਖਚਾਰ॥
ਕਈ ਵੇਦ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਹਨ,
Many Vedas and four-headed Brahmas are there.
ਕਈਰੁਦ੍ਰਛੁੱਦ੍ਰਸਰੂਪ॥
ਕਈ ਤੁੱਛ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਹਨ,
Many Rudras (Shivas) of ghastly appearance are there;
ਕਈਰਾਮਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਅਨੂਪ॥੧੦॥੪੦॥
ਕਈ ਅਨੂਪਮ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਣ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਮ ਹਨ ॥੧੦॥੪੦॥
many unique Ramas and Krishnas are there. 10.40.
ਕਈਕੋਕਕਾਬਭਣੰਤ॥
ਕਈ ਕੋਕ-ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਵਿ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ,
Many poets compose poetry there;
ਕਈਬੇਦਭੇਦਕਹੰਤ॥
ਕਈ ਵੇਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਹੱਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ (ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ)
many speak of the distinction of the knowledge of Vedas.
ਕਈਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿਬਖਾਨ॥
ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਬਖਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
Many elucideate Shastras and Smritis,
ਕਹੂੰਕਥਤਹੀਸੁਪੁਰਾਨ॥੧੧॥੪੧॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਪੁਰਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਥਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੧॥੪੧॥
many hold discourses of Puranas. 11.41.
ਕਈਅਗਨਹੋਤ੍ਰਕਰੰਤ॥
ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਹੋਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
Many perform Agnihotras (fire-worship);
ਕਈਉਰਧਤਾਪਦੁਰੰਤ॥
ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਪੁਠੇ ਲਟਕ ਕੇ ਕਠਿਨ ਤਪ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
many perform arduous austerities while standing.
ਕਈਉਰਧਬਾਹੁਸੰਨਿਆਸ॥
ਕਈ ਬਾਂਹਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਉਠਾ ਕੇ (ਤਪਸਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ) ਸੰਨਿਆਸੀ ਹਨ,
Many are ascetics with raised arms and many are anchorities,
ਕਹੂੰਜੋਗਭੇਸਉਦਾਸ॥੧੨॥੪੨॥
ਕਈ ਜੋਗੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਭੇਸ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਰਲਿਪਤ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੨॥੪੨॥
Many are in the garbs of Yogis and Udasis (stoics). 12.42.
ਕਹੂੰਨਿਵਲੀਕਰਮਕਰੰਤ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਨੌਲੀ-ਕਰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
Many perform Neoli rituals of Yogis of purging intestines.
ਕਹੂੰਪਉਨਅਹਾਰਦੁਰੰਤ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਕਠਿਨ ਪੌਣ-ਆਹਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
There are innumerable who subsist on air.
ਕਹੂੰਤੀਰਥਦਾਨਅਪਾਰ॥
ਕਈ ਤੀਰਥਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਅਪਾਰ ਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ
Many offer great charities at pilgrim-stations.
ਕਹੂੰਜੱਗਕਰਮਉਦਾਰ॥੧੩॥੪੩॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਉਦਾਰਤਾ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਯੱਗ-ਕਰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੩॥੪੩॥
Benevolent sacrificial rituals are performed 13.43.
ਕਹੂੰਅਗਨਹੋਤ੍ਰਅਨੂਪ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਅਨੂਪ ਹਵਨ ('ਅਗਨੀ-ਹੋਤ੍ਰ') ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
Somewhere exquisite fire-worship is arranged.
ਕਹੂੰਨਿਆਇਰਾਜਬਿਭੂਤ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਰਾਜ-ਸੰਪਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਿਆਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
Somewhere justice is done with emblem of royalty.
ਕਹੂੰਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿਰੀਤ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਧੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ
Somewhere ceremonies are performed in accordance with Shastras and Smritis,
ਕਹੂੰਬੇਦਸਿਉਬਿਪ੍ਰੀਤ॥੧੪॥੪੪॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੇਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਲਟ ਰੀਤਾਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੧੪॥੪੪॥
somewhere the performance is antagonistic to Vedic injunctions. 14.44.
ਕਈਦੇਸਦੇਸਫਿਰੰਤ॥
ਕਈ ਦੇਸ-ਦੇਸਾਂਤਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
Many wander in various countries,
ਕਈਏਕਠੌਰਇਸਥੰਤ॥
ਕਈ ਇਕੋ ਸਥਾਨ ਉਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹਨ,
many stay only at one place.
ਕਹੂੰਕਰਤਜਲਮਹਿਜਾਪ॥
ਕਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ (ਖੜੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ) ਜਾਪ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
Somewhere the meditation is performed in water,
ਕਹੂੰਸਹਤਤਨਪਰਤਾਪ॥੧੫॥੪੫॥
ਕਈ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਧੁਪ ('ਤਾਪ') ਸਹਿਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੫॥੪੫॥
somewhere heat is endured on the body.15.45.
ਕਹੂੰਬਾਸਬਨਹਿਕਰੰਤ॥
ਕਿਤੇ (ਕਈ) ਬਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
Somewhere some reside in the forest,
ਕਹੂੰਤਾਪਤਨਹਿਸਹੰਤ॥
ਕਿਤੇ (ਕਈ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਗਰਮੀ ਸਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
somewhere heat is endured on the body.
ਕਹੂੰਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਤਧਰਮਅਪਾਰ॥
ਕਿਤੇ (ਕਈ) ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਥ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ
Somewhere many follow the householder's path,
ਕਹੂੰਰਾਜਰੀਤਉਦਾਰ॥੧੬॥੪੬॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਦਾ ਉਦਾਰਤਾ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਨਿਰਵਾਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੬॥੪੬॥
somewhere many followed.16.46.
ਕਹੂੰਰੋਗਰਹਤਅਭਰਮ॥
ਕਿਤੇ (ਕਈ) ਰੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਭਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹਨ,
Somewhere people are without ailment and illusion,
ਕਹੂੰਕਰਮਕਰਤਅਕਰਮ॥
ਕਿਤੇ (ਕਈ) ਨਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
somewhere forbidden actions are being done.
ਕਹੂੰਸੇਖਬ੍ਰਹਮਸਰੂਪ॥
ਕਿਤੇ (ਕਈ) ਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਨਾਗ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ-ਸਰੂਪ ਹਨ,
Somewhere there are Sheikhs, somewhere there are Brahmins,
ਕਹੂੰਨੀਤਰਾਜਅਨੂਪ॥੧੭॥੪੭॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਅਨੂਪਮ ਨੀਤੀਵਾਨ ਹਨ ॥੧੭॥੪੭॥
somewhere there is the prevalence of unique politics.17.47.
ਕਹੂੰਰੋਗਸੋਗਬਿਹੀਨ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਰੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਗ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹਨ,
Somewhere someone is without suffering and ailment,
ਕਹੂੰਏਕਭਗਤਅਧੀਨ॥
ਕਿਤੇ (ਕਈ) ਇਕ-ਮਾਤਰ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੇ ਵਸ ਵਿਚ ਹਨ,
somewhere someone follows the path of devotion closely.
ਕਹੂੰਰੰਕਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰ॥
ਕਿਤੇ (ਕਈ) ਨਿਰਧਨ (ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ) ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਹਨ,
Somewhere someone is poor and someone a prince,
ਕਹੂੰਬੇਦਬਿਆਸਅਵਤਾਰ॥੧੮॥੪੮॥
ਕਿਤੇ (ਕਈ) ਵੇਦ ਵਿਆਸ ਦਾ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਹਨ ॥੧੮॥੪੮॥
somewhere someone is incarnation of Ved Vyas. 18.48.
ਕਈਬ੍ਰਹਮਬੇਦਰਟੰਤ॥

Some Brahmins recite Vedas,
ਕਈਸੇਖਨਾਮਉਚਰੰਤ॥
ਕਈ ਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਨਾਗ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਉੱਚਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ;
some Sheikhs repeat the Name of the Lord.
ਬੈਰਾਗਕਹੂੰਸੰਨਿਆਸ॥
ਕਿਤੇ (ਕੋਈ) ਵੈਰਾਗੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਸੰਨਿਆਸੀ,
Somewhere there is a follower of the path of Bairag (detachment) and somewhere one follows the path of Sannyas (asceticism),
ਕਹੂੰਫਿਰਤਰੂਪਉਦਾਸ॥੧੯॥੪੯॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਕੋਈ (ਤਪਸਵੀ) ਸੰਸਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਉਪਰਾਮ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੯॥੪੯॥
somewhere someone wanders as an Udasi (stoic).19.49.
ਸਭਕਰਮਫੋਕਟਜਾਨ॥
(ਪਿਛੇ ਦਸੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਕਰਮ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਸਮਝੋ,
Know all the Karmas (actions) as useless,
ਸਭਧਰਮਨਿਹਫਲਮਾਨ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮ ਨਿਸਫਲ ਮਨੋ,
consider all the religious paths of no value.
ਬਿਨਏਕਨਾਮਅਧਾਰ॥
ਇਕ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ
Without the prop of the only Name of the Lord,
ਸਭਕਰਮਭਰਮਬਿਚਾਰ॥੨੦॥੫੦॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਮ ਮਾਤਰ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੦॥੫੦॥
all the Karmas be considered as illusion.20.50.

ਜਲ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ ਹੈ,
The Lord is in water.
ਥਲੇਹਰੀ॥
ਥਲ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ ਹੈ,
The Lord is on land.
ਉਰੇਹਰੀ॥
ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ ਹੈ
The Lord is in the heart.
ਬਨੇਹਰੀ॥੧॥੫੧॥
ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਹਰੀ ਹੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥੫੧॥
The Lord is in the forests.1.51.
ਗਿਰੇਹਰੀ॥
ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ ਹੈ,
The Lord is in he mountains.
ਗੁਫੇਹਰੀ॥
ਗੁਫਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ ਹੈ,
The Lord is in the cave.
ਛਿਤੇਹਰੀ॥
ਧਰਤੀ ('ਛਿਤ') ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ ਹੈ,
The Lord is in he earth.
ਨਭੇਹਰੀ॥੨॥੫੨॥
ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੫੨॥
The Lord is in the sky. 2.52.
ਈਹਾਂਹਰੀ॥
ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ ਹੈ,
The Lord is in here.
ਊਹਾਂਹਰੀ॥
ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ ਹੈ,
The Lord is there.
ਜਿਮੀਹਰੀ॥
ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਉਤੇ ਹਰੀ ਹੈ,
The Lord is in the earth.
ਜਮਾਹਰੀ॥੩॥੫੩॥
ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਹਰੀ ਹੈ ॥੩॥੫੩॥
The Lord is in the sky. 3.53.
ਅਲੇਖਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਲੇਖ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੈ,
The Lord is Accountless.
ਅਭੇਖਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਭੇਖ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੈ,
The Lord is guiseless.
ਅਦੋਖਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਦੋਖ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੈ,
The Lord is blemishless.
ਅਦ੍ਵੈਖਹਰੀ॥੪॥੫੪॥
ਹਰੀ ਦ੍ਵੈਤਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੫੪॥
The Lord is sans duality.4.54.
ਅਕਾਲਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਕਾਲ-ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
The Lord is non-temporal.
ਅਪਾਲਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਪਾਲਣ-ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
The Lord cannot be reated.
ਅਛੇਦਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਛੇਦਿਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ,
The Lord is Indestructible.
ਅਭੇਦਹਰੀ॥੫॥੫੫॥
ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਭੇਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੫॥੫੫॥
The Lord's secrets cannot be known. 5.55.
ਅਜੰਤ੍ਰਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਜੰਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
The Lord is not in mystical digrams.
ਅਮੰਤ੍ਰਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
The Lord is not in incantations.
ਸੁਤੇਜਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਵੱਡੇ ਤੇਜ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ,
The Lord is of bright effulgence.
ਅਤੰਤ੍ਰਹਰੀ॥੬॥੫੬॥
ਹਰੀ ਤੰਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ ॥੬॥੫੬॥
The Lord is not in Tantras (magical formulas). 6.56.
ਅਜਾਤਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
The Lord does not take birth.
ਅਪਾਤਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਬਰਾਦਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ (ਅਪਾਤਿ) ਹੈ,
The Lord does not experience death.
ਅਮਿਤ੍ਰਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਮਿਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੈ,
The Lord is without any friend.
ਅਮਾਤਹਰੀ॥੭॥੫੭॥
ਹਰੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੈ ॥੭॥੫੭॥
The Lord is without mother. 7.57.
ਅਰੋਗਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਰੋਗ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
The Lord is without any ailment.
ਅਸੋਗਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਸੋਗ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
The Lord is without grief,
ਅਭਰਮਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਭਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
The Lord is Illusionless.
ਅਕਰਮਹਰੀ॥੮॥੫੮॥
ਹਰੀ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ ॥੮॥੫੮॥
The Lord is Actionless. 8.58.
ਅਜੈਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਅਜਿਤ ਹੈ,
The Lord is Unconquerable.
ਅਭੈਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਭੈ-ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
The Lord is Fearless.
ਅਭੇਦਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਭੇਦ (ਖੰਡ ਖੰਡ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ) ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ,
The Lord's secrets cannot be known.
ਅਛੇਦਹਰੀ॥੯॥੫੯॥
ਹਰੀ ਨਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ ॥੯॥੫੯॥
The Lord is Unassailable. 9.59.
ਅਖੰਡਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਖੰਡਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ,
The Lord is Indivisible.
ਅਭੰਡਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਭੰਡਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ,
The Lord cannot be slandered.
ਅਡੰਡਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡਿਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ,
The Lord cannot be punished.
ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਹਰੀ॥੧੦॥੬੦॥
ਹਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਤੇਜ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੦॥੬੦॥
The Lord is Supremenly Glorious.10.60.
ਅਤੇਵਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ,
The Lord is extremely Great.
ਅਭੇਵਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਭੇਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ,
The Lord's mystery cannot be known.
ਅਜੇਵਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਅਜਿਤ ਹੈ,
The Lord needs no food.
ਅਛੇਵਹਰੀ॥੧੧॥੬੧॥
ਹਰੀ ਛੇਦਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੧੧॥੬੧॥
The Lord is Invincible. 11.61.
ਭਜੋਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਕਰੋ,
Meditate on the Lord.
ਥਪੋਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਨੂੰ (ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਟਿਕਾਓ,
Worship the Lord.
ਤਪੋਹਰੀ॥
ਹਰੀ ਦੀ ਤਪਸਿਆ ਕਰੋ,
Perform devotion for the Lord.
ਜਪੋਹਰੀ॥੧੨॥੬੨॥
ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਜਾਪ ਕਰੋ ॥੧੨॥੬੨॥
Repeat the Name of the lord. 12.62.
ਜਲਸਤੁਹੀਂ॥
(ਹੇ ਹਰੀ!) ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਜਲ ਹੈਂ,
O Lord! Thou art water.
ਥਲਸਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਥਲ ਹੈਂ,
O Lord! Thou art dry land.
ਨਦਿਸਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਨਦੀ ਹੈਂ,
O Lord! Thou art the stream.
ਨਦਸਤੁਹੀਂ॥੧੩॥੬੩॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੩॥੬੩॥
O Lord! Thou art the Ocean. 13.63
ਬ੍ਰਿਛਸਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਹੈਂ,
O Lord! Thou art the tree.
ਪਤਸਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਪੱਤਰ ਹੈਂ,
O Lord! Thou art the leaf.
ਛਿਤਸਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੈ
O Lord! Thou art the earth.
ਉਰਧਸਤੁਹੀਂ॥੧੪॥੬੪॥
ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੪॥੬੪॥
O Lord! Thou art the sky. 14. 64.
ਭਜਸਤੁਅੰ॥
(ਮੈਂ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭਜਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
O Lord! I meditate on Thee.
ਭਜਸਤੁਅੰ॥
ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭਜਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
O Lord! I meditate on Thee.
ਰਟਸਤੁਅੰ॥
ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜਪਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
O Lord! I repeat Thy Name.
ਠਟਸਤੁਅੰ॥੧੫॥੬੫॥
ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧੫॥੬੫॥
O Lord! I worship Thee. 15.65.
ਜਿਮੀਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਹੈਂ,
O Lord! Thou art the earth.
ਜਮਾਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਹੈਂ,
O Lord! Thou art the sky.
ਮਕੀਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਮਕਾਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ
O Lord! Thou art the Owner of the house.
ਮਕਾਤੁਹੀਂ॥੧੬॥੬੬॥
ਅਤੇ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਹੀ ਮਕਾਨ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੬॥੬੬॥
O Lord! Thou art the house Thyself. 16.66.
ਅਭੂਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੈਂ,
O Lord! Thou art birthless.
ਅਭੈਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਡਰ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈਂ,
O Lord Thou art Fearless.
ਅਛੂਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਛੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈਂ,
O Lord! Thou art Untouchabe.
ਅਛੈਤੁਹੀਂ॥੧੭॥੬੭॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਨਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੭॥੬੭॥
O Lord! Thou art Invincible.17.67.
ਜਤਸਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਜਤ ਹੈਂ,
O Lord! Thou art the celibacy.
ਬ੍ਰਤਸਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਤ ਹੈਂ,
O Lord! Thou art the means for a virtuous deed.
ਗਤਸਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਗਤੀ ਹੈਂ
O Lord! Thou art the salvation.
ਮਤਸਤੁਹੀਂ॥੧੮॥੬੮॥
ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਗਿਆਨ ਹੈ ॥੧੮॥੬੮॥
O Lord! Thou art the Redemption. 18.68.
ਤੁਹੀਂਤੁਹੀਂ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ, ਤੂੰ ਹੀ,
O Lord! Everything art Thou, Everything Thou art.
