ੴਸਤਿਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ॥
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਗੁਰੁਸੇਵਉਕਰਿਨਮਸਕਾਰ॥
ਮੈਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
I serve the Guru, and humbly bow to Him.
ਆਜੁਹਮਾਰੈਮੰਗਲਚਾਰ॥
ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਬੜਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਣਿਆ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। (ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਹੈ)।
Today is a day of celebration for me.
ਆਜੁਹਮਾਰੈਮਹਾਅਨੰਦ॥
ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Today I am in supreme bliss.
ਚਿੰਤਲਥੀਭੇਟੇਗੋਬਿੰਦ॥੧॥
(ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਜੀ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਹਨ, ਮੇਰੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
My anxiety is dispelled, and I have met the Lord of the Universe. ||1||
ਆਜੁਹਮਾਰੈਗ੍ਰਿਹਿਬਸੰਤ॥
ਹੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
Today, it is springtime in my household.
ਗੁਨਗਾਏਪ੍ਰਭਤੁਮੑਬੇਅੰਤ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਣੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
I sing Your Glorious Praises, O Infinite Lord God. ||1||Pause||
ਆਜੁਹਮਾਰੈਬਨੇਫਾਗ॥
(ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਫੱਗਣ ਦੀ ਹੋਲੀ ਬਣੀ ਪਈ ਹੈ,
Today, I am celebrating the festival of Phalgun.
ਪ੍ਰਭਸੰਗੀਮਿਲਿਖੇਲਨਲਾਗ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ (ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਮਿਲ ਕੇ (ਇਹ ਹੋਲੀ) ਖੇਡਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
Joining with God's companions, I have begun to play.
ਹੋਲੀਕੀਨੀਸੰਤਸੇਵ॥
(ਇਹ ਹੋਲੀ ਕੀਹ ਹੈ?) ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਹੋਲੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
I celebrate the festival of Holi by serving the Saints.
ਰੰਗੁਲਾਗਾਅਤਿਲਾਲਦੇਵ॥੨॥
(ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਦਾ ਗੂੜ੍ਹਾ (ਆਤਮਕ) ਰੰਗ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
I am imbued with the deep crimson color of the Lord's Divine Love. ||2||
ਮਨੁਤਨੁਮਉਲਿਓਅਤਿਅਨੂਪ॥
(ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਣ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਖਿੜ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਤਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਖਿੜ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ।
My mind and body have blossomed forth, in utter, incomparable beauty.
ਸੂਕੈਨਾਹੀਛਾਵਧੂਪ॥
ਹੁਣ ਸੁਖ ਹੋਣ ਚਾਹੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਹੋਣ (ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਵਿਚ) ਆਤਮਕ ਖਿੜਾਉ ਦੀ ਤਰਾਵਤ ਕਦੇ ਮੁੱਕਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
They do not dry out in either sunshine or shade;
ਸਗਲੀਰੂਤੀਹਰਿਆਹੋਇ॥
(ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ) ਸਾਰੇ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
they flourish in all seasons.
ਸਦਬਸੰਤਗੁਰਮਿਲੇਦੇਵ॥੩॥
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਹਨ, ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਦਾ ਖਿੜਾਉ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
It is always springtime, when I meet with the Divine Guru. ||3||
ਬਿਰਖੁਜਮਿਓਹੈਪਾਰਜਾਤ॥
(ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ, ਮਾਨੋ, ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਨੋ-ਕਾਮਨਾ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਵਰਗੀ) ਪਾਰਜਾਤ ਰੁੱਖ ਉੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ,
The wish-fulfilling Elysian Tree has sprouted and grown.
ਫੂਲਲਗੇਫਲਰਤਨਭਾਂਤਿ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਂਤ ਭਾਂਤ ਦੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਫੁੱਲ ਤੇ ਫਲ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
It bears flowers and fruits, jewels of all sorts.
ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿਅਘਾਨੇਹਰਿਗੁਣਹਗਾਇ॥
ਸਦਾ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾ ਗਾ ਕੇ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਲੋਂ) ਪੂਰਨ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਰੱਜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
I am satisfied and fulfilled, singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਜਨਨਾਨਕਹਰਿਹਰਿਹਰਿਧਿਆਇ॥੪॥੧॥
ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ- ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ ਦੂਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੪॥੧॥
Servant Nanak meditates on the Lord, Har, Har, Har. ||4||1||
ਬਸੰਤੁਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Basant, Fifth Mahalaa:
ਹਟਵਾਣੀਧਨਮਾਲਹਾਟੁਕੀਤੁ॥
(ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ) ਦੁਕਾਨਦਾਰ (ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ-ਪਸੰਦ ਦੇ) ਮਾਲ-ਧਨ ਦੀ ਦੁਕਾਨ ਚਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
The shopkeeper deals in merchandise for profit.
ਜੂਆਰੀਜੂਏਮਾਹਿਚੀਤੁ॥
(ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿਸੇ) ਜੁਆਰੀਏ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਜੂਏ ਵਿਚ ਮਗਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
The gambler's consciousness is focused on gambling.
ਅਮਲੀਜੀਵੈਅਮਲੁਖਾਇ॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਅਫੀਮੀ ਅਫੀਮ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਸੁਖ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
The opium addict lives by consuming opium.
ਤਿਉਹਰਿਜਨੁਜੀਵੈਹਰਿਧਿਆਇ॥੧॥
ਤਿਵੇਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਭਗਤ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
In the same way, the humble servant of the Lord lives by meditating on the Lord. ||1||
ਅਪਨੈਰੰਗਿਸਭੁਕੋਰਚੈ॥
ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ-ਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਸੁਆਦ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
Everyone is absorbed in his own pleasures.
ਜਿਤੁਪ੍ਰਭਿਲਾਇਆਤਿਤੁਤਿਤੁਲਗੈ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
(ਪਰ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ (ਹੀ) ਜਿਸ (ਸੁਆਦ) ਵਿਚ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਉਸ (ਸੁਆਦ) ਵਿਚ (ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ) ਲੱਗਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
He is attached to whatever God attaches him to. ||1||Pause||
ਮੇਘਸਮੈਮੋਰਨਿਰਤਿਕਾਰ॥
ਘਟਾਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਮੋਰ ਪੈਲਾਂ ਪਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
When the clouds and the rain come, the peacocks dance.
ਚੰਦਦੇਖਿਬਿਗਸਹਿਕਉਲਾਰ॥
ਚੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕੰਮੀਆਂ ਖਿੜਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ,
Seeing the moon, the lotus blossoms.
ਮਾਤਾਬਾਰਿਕਦੇਖਿਅਨੰਦ॥
(ਆਪਣੇ) ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮਾਂ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ,
When the mother sees her infant, she is happy.
ਤਿਉਹਰਿਜਨਜੀਵਹਿਜਪਿਗੋਬਿੰਦ॥੨॥
ਤਿਵੇਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਆਤਮਕ ਹੁਲਾਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
In the same way, the humble servant of the Lord lives by meditating on the Lord of the Universe. ||2||
ਸਿੰਘਰੁਚੈਸਦਭੋਜਨੁਮਾਸ॥
ਮਾਸ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਮਿਲੇ ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਸਦਾ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
The tiger always wants to eat meat.
ਰਣੁਦੇਖਿਸੂਰੇਚਿਤਉਲਾਸ॥
ਜੁੱਧ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਜੋਸ਼ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
Gazing upon the battlefield, the warrior's mind is exalted.
ਕਿਰਪਨਕਉਅਤਿਧਨਪਿਆਰੁ॥
ਸ਼ੂਮ ਨੂੰ ਧਨ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੋਭ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The miser is totally in love with his wealth.
ਹਰਿਜਨਕਉਹਰਿਹਰਿਆਧਾਰੁ॥੩॥
(ਤਿਵੇਂ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
The humble servant of the Lord leans on the Support of the Lord, Har, Har. ||3||
ਸਰਬਰੰਗਇਕਰੰਗਮਾਹਿ॥
ਪਰ, (ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਆਦ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਦ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ (ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਘਟੀਆ ਹਨ)।
All love is contained in the Love of the One Lord.
ਸਰਬਸੁਖਾਸੁਖਹਰਿਕੈਨਾਇ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਸੁਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਹਨ।
All comforts are contained in the Comfort of the Lord's Name.
ਤਿਸਹਿਪਰਾਪਤਿਇਹੁਨਿਧਾਨੁ॥
ਇਹ ਨਾਮ-ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ,
He alone receives this treasure,
ਨਾਨਕਗੁਰੁਜਿਸੁਕਰੇਦਾਨੁ॥੪॥੨॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੨॥
O Nanak, unto whom the Guru gives His gift. ||4||2||
ਬਸੰਤੁਮਹਲਾ੫॥

ਤਿਸੁਬਸੰਤੁਜਿਸੁਪ੍ਰਭੁਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ॥
ਆਤਮਕ ਖਿੜਾਉ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
He alone experiences this springtime of the soul, unto whom God grants His Grace.
ਤਿਸੁਬਸੰਤੁਜਿਸੁਗੁਰੁਦਇਆਲੁ॥
ਆਤਮਕ ਖਿੜਾਉ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਉਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
He alone experiences this springtime of the soul, unto whom the Guru is merciful.
ਮੰਗਲੁਤਿਸਕੈਜਿਸੁਏਕੁਕਾਮੁ॥
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਆਹਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
He alone is joyful, who works for the One Lord.
ਤਿਸੁਸਦਬਸੰਤੁਜਿਸੁਰਿਦੈਨਾਮੁ॥੧॥
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਖਿੜਾਉ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
He alone experiences this eternal springtime of the soul, within whose heart the Naam, the Name of the Lord, abides. ||1||
ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿਤਾਕੇਬਸੰਤੁਗਨੀ॥
ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਖਿੜਾਉ (ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ) ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
This spring comes only to those homes,
ਜਾਕੈਕੀਰਤਨੁਹਰਿਧੁਨੀ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਟਿਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦੇ ਨਾਮ) ਦੀ ਲਗਨ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
in which the melody of the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises resounds. ||1||Pause||
ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਮਉਲਿਮਨਾ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ) ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ ਖਿੜਿਆ ਰਹੁ।
O mortal, let your love for the Supreme Lord God blossom forth.
ਗਿਆਨੁਕਮਾਈਐਪੂਛਿਜਨਾਂ॥
ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛ ਕੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਝ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
Practice spiritual wisdom, and consult the humble servants of the Lord.
ਸੋਤਪਸੀਜਿਸੁਸਾਧਸੰਗੁ॥
(ਅਸਲ) ਤਪਸ੍ਵੀ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ,
He alone is an ascetic, who joins the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਸਦਧਿਆਨੀਜਿਸੁਗੁਰਹਿਰੰਗੁ॥੨॥
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਜੁੜੀ ਸੁਰਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਜਾਣੋ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਗੁਰ (-ਚਰਨਾਂ) ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
He alone dwells in deep, continual meditation, who loves his Guru. ||2||
ਸੇਨਿਰਭਉਜਿਨੑਭਉਪਇਆ॥
ਉਹ ਬੰਦੇ (ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ) ਡਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਤਾਂਹ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ।
He alone is fearless, who has the Fear of God.
ਸੋਸੁਖੀਆਜਿਸੁਭ੍ਰਮੁਗਇਆ॥
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੁਖੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ (ਦੇ ਮਨ) ਦੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
He alone is peaceful, whose doubts are dispelled.
ਸੋਇਕਾਂਤੀਜਿਸੁਰਿਦਾਥਾਇ॥
ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਕਾਂਤ ਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਹੈ (ਇਕ ਥਾਂ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ)।
He alone is a hermit, who heart is steady and stable.
ਸੋਈਨਿਹਚਲੁਸਾਚਠਾਇ॥੩॥
ਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਡੋਲ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
He alone is steady and unmoving, who has found the true place. ||3||
ਏਕਾਖੋਜੈਏਕਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ॥
ਜਿਹੜਾ (ਹਰ ਥਾਂ) ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਭਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ,
He seeks the One Lord, and loves the One Lord.
ਦਰਸਨਪਰਸਨਹੀਤਚੀਤਿ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਦੀ ਛੁਹ ਦੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਹੈ,
He loves to gaze upon the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan.
ਹਰਿਰੰਗਰੰਗਾਸਹਜਿਮਾਣੁ॥
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਰਸਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ,
He intuitively enjoys the Love of the Lord.
ਨਾਨਕਦਾਸਤਿਸੁਜਨਕੁਰਬਾਣੁ॥੪॥੩॥
ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ- ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੪॥੩॥
Slave Nanak is a sacrifice to that humble being. ||4||3||
