ਹਰਾਮਖੋਰਨਿਰਗੁਣਕਉਤੂਠਾ॥
ਪਰਾਇਆ ਹੱਕ ਖਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਣ-ਹੀਨ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਭੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
I am unworthy and ungrateful, but He has been merciful to me.
ਮਨੁਤਨੁਸੀਤਲੁਮਨਿਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁਵੂਠਾ॥
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਤਨ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਆ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ।
My mind and body have been cooled and soothed; the Ambrosial Nectar rains down in my mind.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਗੁਰਭਏਦਇਆਲਾ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਇਆਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
The Supreme Lord God, the Guru, has become kind and compassionate to me.
ਨਾਨਕਦਾਸਦੇਖਿਭਏਨਿਹਾਲਾ॥੪॥੧੦॥੨੩॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੪॥੧੦॥੨੩॥
Slave Nanak beholds the Lord, enraptured. ||4||10||23||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਮੇਰਾਬੇਮੁਹਤਾਜੁ॥
ਪਿਆਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਮੁਥਾਜੀ ਨਹੀਂ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਾਤੀ ਗ਼ਰਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ)-
My True Guru is totally independent.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਮੇਰੇਸਚਾਸਾਜੁ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਹੈ (ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਬੇ-ਗ਼ਰਜ਼ ਹੈ)।
My True Guru is adorned with Truth.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਮੇਰਾਸਭਸਕਾਦਾਤਾ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਦਾਤਾਂ) ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
My True Guru is the Giver of all.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਮੇਰਾਪੁਰਖੁਬਿਧਾਤਾ॥੧॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ-ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
My True Guru is the Primal Creator Lord, the Architect of Destiny. ||1||
ਗੁਰਜੈਸਾਨਾਹੀਕੋਦੇਵ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
There is no deity equal to the Guru.
ਜਿਸੁਮਸਤਕਿਭਾਗੁਸੁਲਾਗਾਸੇਵ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜਿਸ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ (ਜਾਗ ਪਏ) ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Whoever has good destiny inscribed on his forehead, applies himself to seva - selfless service. ||1||Pause||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਮੇਰਾਸਰਬਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲੈ॥
ਪਿਆਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
My True Guru is the Sustainer and Cherisher of all.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਮੇਰਾਮਾਰਿਜੀਵਾਲੈ॥
(ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ) ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
My True Guru kills and revives.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਮੇਰੇਕੀਵਡਿਆਈ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਉੱਚੀ ਸੋਭਾ-
The glorious greatness of my True Guru
ਪ੍ਰਗਟੁਭਈਹੈਸਭਨੀਥਾਈ॥੨॥
ਸਭਨੀਂ ਥਾਈਂ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
has become manifest everywhere. ||2||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਮੇਰਾਤਾਣੁਨਿਤਾਣੁ॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਆਸਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ (ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਆ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ਗੁਰੂ (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਆਸਰਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
My True Guru is the power of the powerless.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁਮੇਰਾਘਰਿਦੀਬਾਣੁ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
My True Guru is my home and court.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਕੈਹਉਸਦਬਲਿਜਾਇਆ॥
ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਾ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
I am forever a sacrifice to the True Guru.
ਪ੍ਰਗਟੁਮਾਰਗੁਜਿਨਿਕਰਿਦਿਖਲਾਇਆ॥੩॥
ਜਿਸ (ਗੁਰੂ) ਨੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ) ਸਿੱਧਾ ਰਾਹ ਵਿਖਾਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
He has shown me the path. ||3||
ਜਿਨਿਗੁਰੁਸੇਵਿਆਤਿਸੁਭਉਨਬਿਆਪੈ॥
ਜਿਸ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਡਰ ਉਸ ਉਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ,
One who serves the Guru is not afflicted with fear.
ਜਿਨਿਗੁਰੁਸੇਵਿਆਤਿਸੁਦੁਖੁਨਸੰਤਾਪੈ॥
ਜਿਸ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਦੁੱਖ-ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।
One who serves the Guru does not suffer in pain.
ਨਾਨਕਸੋਧੇਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿਬੇਦ॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ ਵੇਦ (ਆਦਿਕ ਧਰਮ-ਪੁਸਤਕ) ਖੋਜ ਵੇਖੇ ਹਨ (ਗੁਰੂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੈ)
Nanak has studied the Simritees and the Vedas.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਗੁਰਨਾਹੀਭੇਦ॥੪॥੧੧॥੨੪॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧੧॥੨੪॥
There is no difference between the Supreme Lord God and the Guru. ||4||11||24||

Bhairao, Fifth Mahalaa:
ਨਾਮੁਲੈਤਮਨੁਪਰਗਟੁਭਇਆ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਿਆਂ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ) ਮਨ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ) ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
Repeating the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the mortal is exalted and glorified.
ਨਾਮੁਲੈਤਪਾਪੁਤਨਤੇਗਇਆ॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਿਆਂ (ਹਰੇਕ ਕਿਸਮ ਦਾ) ਪਾਪ ਸਰੀਰ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Repeating the Naam, sin is banished from the body.
ਨਾਮੁਲੈਤਸਗਲਪੁਰਬਾਇਆ॥
ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਿਆਂ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁਰਬ ਮਨਾਏ ਗਏ,
Repeating the Naam, all festivals are celebrated.
ਨਾਮੁਲੈਤਅਠਸਠਿਮਜਨਾਇਆ॥੧॥
ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਿਆਂ ਅਠਾਹਠ ਤੀਰਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ॥੧॥
Repeating the Naam, one is cleansed at the sixty-eight sacred shrines. ||1||
ਤੀਰਥੁਹਮਰਾਹਰਿਕੋਨਾਮੁ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਸਾਡਾ ਤੀਰਥ ਹੈ।
My sacred shrine of pilgrimage is the Name of the Lord.
ਗੁਰਿਉਪਦੇਸਿਆਤਤੁਗਿਆਨੁ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਸਾਨੂੰ) ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਝ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਨਿਚੋੜ ਸਮਝਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
The Guru has instructed me in the true essence of spiritual wisdom. ||1||Pause||
ਨਾਮੁਲੈਤਦੁਖੁਦੂਰਿਪਰਾਨਾ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਿਆਂ (ਹਰੇਕ) ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
Repeating the Naam, the mortal's pains are taken away.
ਨਾਮੁਲੈਤਅਤਿਮੂੜਸੁਗਿਆਨਾ॥
ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਿਆਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਭਾਰਾ ਮੂਰਖ ਭੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਸੂਝ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Repeating the Naam, the most ignorant people become spiritual teachers.
ਨਾਮੁਲੈਤਪਰਗਟੁਉਜੀਆਰਾ॥
ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਿਆਂ (ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ) ਚਾਨਣ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
Repeating the Naam, the Divine Light blazes forth.
ਨਾਮੁਲੈਤਛੁਟੇਜੰਜਾਰਾ॥੨॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਿਆਂ (ਮਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ) ਫਾਹੀਆਂ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
Repeating the Naam, one's bonds are broken. ||2||
ਨਾਮੁਲੈਤਜਮੁਨੇੜਿਨਆਵੈ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਿਆਂ ਜਮ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ) ਨੇੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ,
Repeating the Naam, the Messenger of Death does not draw near.
ਨਾਮੁਲੈਤਦਰਗਹਸੁਖੁਪਾਵੈ॥
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ,
Repeating the Naam, one finds peace in the Court of the Lord.
ਨਾਮੁਲੈਤਪ੍ਰਭੁਕਹੈਸਾਬਾਸਿ॥
ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਿਆਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਭੀ) ਆਦਰ-ਮਾਣ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Repeating the Naam, God gives His Approval.
ਨਾਮੁਹਮਾਰੀਸਾਚੀਰਾਸਿ॥੩॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਰਮਾਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
The Naam is my true wealth. ||3||
ਗੁਰਿਉਪਦੇਸੁਕਹਿਓਇਹੁਸਾਰੁ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਇਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ,
The Guru has instructed me in these sublime teachings.
ਹਰਿਕੀਰਤਿਮਨਨਾਮੁਅਧਾਰੁ॥
ਕਿ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਹੀ) ਮਨ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ।
The Kirtan of the Lord's Praises and the Naam are the Support of the mind.
ਨਾਨਕਉਧਰੇਨਾਮਪੁਨਹਚਾਰ॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Nanak is saved through the atonement of the Naam.
ਅਵਰਿਕਰਮਲੋਕਹਪਤੀਆਰ॥੪॥੧੨॥੨੫॥
ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ (ਪ੍ਰਾਸ਼ਚਿਤ) ਕਰਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸੱਲੀ ਕਰਾਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹਨ (ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ) ॥੪॥੧੨॥੨੫॥
Other actions are just to please and appease the people. ||4||12||25||
ਭੈਰਉਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Bhairao, Fifth Mahalaa:
ਨਮਸਕਾਰਤਾਕਉਲਖਬਾਰ॥
ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਰੀ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ,
I bow in humble worship, tens of thousands of times.
ਇਹੁਮਨੁਦੀਜੈਤਾਕਉਵਾਰਿ॥
ਆਪਣਾ ਇਹ ਮਨ ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਭੇਟਾ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
I offer this mind as a sacrifice.
ਸਿਮਰਨਿਤਾਕੈਮਿਟਹਿਸੰਤਾਪ॥
ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ (ਸਾਰੇ) ਦੁੱਖ-ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
Meditating in remembrance on Him, sufferings are erased.
ਹੋਇਅਨੰਦੁਨਵਿਆਪਹਿਤਾਪ॥੧॥
(ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਦੁੱਖ ਆਪਣਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੇ ॥੧॥
Bliss wells up, and no disease is contracted. ||1||
ਐਸੋਹੀਰਾਨਿਰਮਲਨਾਮ॥
(ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ) ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਹੈ,
Such is the diamond, the Immaculate Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਜਾਸੁਜਪਤਪੂਰਨਸਭਿਕਾਮ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਪਦਿਆਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਸਫਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Chanting it, all works are perfectly completed. ||1||Pause||
ਜਾਕੀਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿਦੁਖਡੇਰਾਢਹੈ॥
ਜਿਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਨਾਲ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਡੇਰਾ ਢਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
Beholding Him, the house of pain is demolished.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਨਾਮੁਸੀਤਲੁਮਨਿਗਹੈ॥
(ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾਮ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ) ਠੰਢਾ-ਠਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The mind seizes the cooling, soothing, Ambrosial Nectar of the Naam.
ਅਨਿਕਭਗਤਜਾਕੇਚਰਨਪੂਜਾਰੀ॥
ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਹੀ ਭਗਤ ਜਿਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਪੂਜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ,
Millions of devotees worship His Feet.
ਸਗਲਮਨੋਰਥਪੂਰਨਹਾਰੀ॥੨॥
ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
He is the Fulfiller of all the mind's desires. ||2||
ਖਿਨਮਹਿਊਣੇਸੁਭਰਭਰਿਆ॥
(ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਖ਼ਾਲੀ (ਹਿਰਦਿਆਂ) ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਵਿਚ (ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ) ਨਕਾ-ਨਕ ਭਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
In an instant, He fills the empty to over-flowing.
ਖਿਨਮਹਿਸੂਕੇਕੀਨੇਹਰਿਆ॥
(ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਲੋਂ) ਸੁੱਕੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੇ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In an instant, He transforms the dry into green.
ਖਿਨਮਹਿਨਿਥਾਵੇਕਉਦੀਨੋਥਾਨੁ॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਤੇ ਆਸਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਦੇ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
In an instant, He gives the homeless a home.
ਖਿਨਮਹਿਨਿਮਾਣੇਕਉਦੀਨੋਮਾਨੁ॥੩॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਆਦਰ-ਸਤਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਂਦਾ, ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਣ-ਆਦਰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
In an instant, He bestows honor on the dishonored. ||3||
