ਤਾਲਾਲਿਜਾਣਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਇਤੂਗੋਯਾਨਮੀਸ਼ਵਦ।
ਜਦ ਤਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਜਾਨ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲਾਲ ਹੋਠ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਨਹੀਣ,
Because, he meditates and has only Naam of the Omnipotent on his tongue. (39) (2)
ता लालि जाण फ़ज़ाइ तू गोया नमी शवद ।
ਦਰਮਾਨਿਦਰਦਿਮਾਸਤਕਿਪੈਦਾਨਮੀਸ਼ਵਦ।੨੪।੧।
ਸਾਡੈ ਦਰਦਾਣ ਦੀ ਦਵਾ ਵੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਨਹੀਣ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ।
The fragrant black speckle, the mole, of your cheek, has enamored the entire world,
दरमानि दरदि मासत कि पैदा नमी शवद ।२४।१।
ਲਬਿਤਿਸ਼ਨਾਰਾਬਾ-ਆਬਿਲਬਤਹਸਤਆਰਜ਼ੂ।
ਪਿਆਸੇ ਹੋਠਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੋਠਾਣ ਦੇ ਅੰੰਿਮ੍ਰਤ ਦੀ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਹੈ ।
And, your locks of hair are just like a snare for the faith and the religion and nothing else.(39) (3)
लबि तिशना रा बा-आबि लबत हसत आरज़ू ।
ਤਸਕੀਨਿਮਾਜ਼ਿਖ਼ਿਜ਼ਰੋਮਸੀਹਾਨਮੀਸ਼ਵਦ।੨੪।੨।
ਸਾਡੀ ਤਸੱਲੀ ਖ਼ਿਜ਼ਰ ਜਾਣ ਮਸੀਹਾ ਤੋਣ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਣ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ।
O Guru! Kindly show me your sun-like face as soon as possible,
तसकीनि मा ज़ि क़िज़रो मसीहा नमी शवद ।२४।२।
ਦਾਰੇਮਦਰਦਿਦਿਲਕਿਮਰਊਰਾਇਲਾਜਨੀਸਤ।
ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅਜੇਹਾ ਦਿਲ ਦਾ ਦਰਦ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਇਲਾਜ ਨਹੀਣ ।
Because, this is the only cure for my tearful eyes and nothing else." (39) (4)
My heart and soul is simply captivated for his handsome stature and gait,
And, my life is for sacrifice to the dust of my beloved's feet." (39) (5)
दारेम दरदि दिल कि मर ऊ रा इलाज नीसत ।
ਤਾਜਾਣਨਮੀਦਿਹੇਮਮਦਾਵਾਨਮੀਸ਼ਵਦ।੨੪।੩।
ਜਦ ਤਕ ਅਸੀਣ ਜਾਨ ਨਹੀਣ ਦੇ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਆਰਾਮ ਨਹੀਣ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ।
Alas! I wish you had asked Goyaa even for a moment, How are you?
ता जाण नमी दिहेम मदावा नमी शवद ।२४।३।
ਗੁਫ਼ਤਮਕਿਜਾਣ-ਦਿਹੇਮਇਵਜ਼ਿਯੱਕਨਿਗਾਹਿਤੂ।
ਮੈਣ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੇਰੀ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਬਦਲੇ ਅਸੀਣ ਜਾਨ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਣ,
Because, this is the only remedy for my painfully tortured heart." (39) (6)
After getting drunk (with His Naam), one should become pious and chaste,
One should be inebriated and become indifferent to life and an embodiment of meditation.” (40) (1)
You should not cast your eyes just even to look towards any one else; this will be an act of blindness;
You should become an eye from head to toe, and aim your vision only towards your Beloved. (40) (2)
Circumambulate around the torso of heart-stealing king, the Guru,
And, assume yourself as the prisoner of the knot of the fragrant lock of his hair." (40) (3)
गुफ़तम कि जाण-दिहेम इवज़ि यक निगाहि तू ।
ਗੁਫ਼ਤਾਮਿਆਨਿਮਾਓਤੂਸੌਦਾਨਮੀਸ਼ਵਦ।੨੪।੪।
ਉਸ ਆਖਿਆ, ਸਾਡੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਇਹ ਸੌਦਾ ਨਹੀਣ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ।
I am not asking anyone to go to the temple or the Muslin shrine.
गुफ़ता मिआनि मा ओ तू सौदा नमी शवद ।२४।४।
ਅੰਦਰਹਵਾਇਜ਼ੁਲਫ਼ਿਗਿਰਾਹਗੀਰਮਹਿਵਸ਼ਾਣ।
ਚੰਨ ਵਰਗੇ ਸੋਹਣਿਆਣ ਦੀਆਣ ਗੰਢਾਣ ਲੱਗੀਆਣ ਜ਼ੁਲਫ਼ਾਣ ਦੀ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਵਿਚ,
I am simply suggesting that no matter where you decide to go, you should always keep your face towards the Almighty." (40) (4)
Turning away from me like a stranger, why are you are paying attention to my rivals?
Just look towards me even for a short while and get familiar with the condition of this broken heart. (40) (5)
Goya says, "Become content and pleasant like my heart, And do not become indifferent after having your desires fulfilled.
अंदर हवाइ ज़ुलफ़ि गिराहगीर महिवशाण ।
ਮਨਵੀ-ਰਵਮਗਿਰਹਜ਼ਿਦਿਲਮਵਾਨਮੀਸ਼ਵਦ।੨੪।੫।
ਮੈਣ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਤਾਣ ਹਾਣ ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਗੰਢ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨਾਣ ਨਹੀਣ ਖੁਲ੍ਹਨੀ ।
In fact, rid yourself of all purpose and pursuits.(This way, one can attain the real goal) (40) (6)
मन वी-रवम गिरह ज़ि दिलम वा नमी शवद ।२४।५।
ਬਾਹਾਸਿਲਿਮੁਰਾਦਕੁਜਾਆਸ਼ਨਾਸ਼ਵੇਮ।
ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੀ ਅੱਖ ਤੇਰੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਗਰ ਨਹੀਣ ਬਣ ਜਾਣਦੀ,
Hearts of everyone in deep love are scorched and charred,
बा हासिलि मुराद कुजा आशना शवेम ।
ਤਾਚਸ਼ਮਿਮਾਬ-ਯਾਦਿਤੂਦਰਿਆਨਮੀਸ਼ਵਦ।੨੪।੬।
ਅਸੀਣ ਮੁਰਾਦ ਦੀ ਕੰਧੀ ਤੋਣ ਵਾਕਫ ਨਹੀਣ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ।
Both the worlds are amazed and even desperately restless for his glimpse. (41) (1)
ता चशमि मा ब-यादि तू दरिआ नमी शवद ।२४।६।
ਗੋਯਾਦਰਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰਿਤੂਚਸ਼ਮਮਸਫ਼ੇਦਸ਼ੁਦ।
ਤੇਰੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਵਿਚ ਮੇਰੀਆਣ ਅੱਖਾਣ ਵੀ ਅੱਨ੍ਹੀਆਣ, ਚਿੱਟੀਆਣ, ਹੋ ਗਈਆਣ ਹਨ,
The dust of your street is like a collyrium for the eyes of those with divine sight,
गोया दर इंतज़ारि तू चशमम सफ़ेद शुद ।
ਮਨਚੂੰਕੁਨਮਕਿਬੇਤੂਦਿਲਾਸਾਨਮੀਸ਼ਵਦ।੨੪।੭।
ਮੈਣ ਕੀ ਕਰਾਣ, ਕਿਉਣਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨਾਣ ਮੇਰੀ ਢਾਰਸ ਨਹੀਣ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ।
And for the tearful eyes, there is no other better cure than this. (41) (2)
मन चूं कुनम कि बे तू दिलासा नमी शवद ।२४।७।
