ਸਰਮ ਖੰਡ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਰੂਪੁ ॥
ਉੱਦਮ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਬਨਾਵਟ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਇਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਦਿਨੋ ਦਿਨ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਬਣਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ)।
In the realm of humility, the Word is Beauty.
सरम खंड की बाणी रूपु ॥
En este reino de Humildad, la Palabra es Belleza,
ਤਿਥੈ ਘਾੜਤਿ ਘੜੀਐ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਅਨੂਪੁ ॥
ਇਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ (ਨਵੀਂ) ਘਾੜਤ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਘੜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Forms of incomparable beauty are fashioned there.
तिथै घाड़ति घड़ीऐ बहुतु अनूपु ॥
formas incomparables indescriptibles en Belleza son creadas;
ਤਾ ਕੀਆ ਗਲਾ ਕਥੀਆ ਨਾ ਜਾਹਿ ॥
ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ।
These things cannot be described.
ता कीआ गला कथीआ ना जाहि ॥
Estas cosas no pueden ser descritas.
ਜੇ ਕੋ ਕਹੈ ਪਿਛੈ ਪਛੁਤਾਇ ॥
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਪਛੁਤਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਅਸਮਰਥ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ)।
One who tries to speak of these shall regret the attempt.
जे को कहै पिछै पछुताइ ॥
el que se atreviera a describirlas se arrepentiría.
ਤਿਥੈ ਘੜੀਐ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਮਨਿ ਬੁਧਿ ॥
ਉਸ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਸੁਰਤ ਤੇ ਮਤ ਘੜੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਭਾਵ, ਸੁਰਤ ਤੇ ਮਤ ਉੱਚੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ) ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਗ੍ਰਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
The intuitive consciousness, intellect and understanding of the mind are shaped there.
तिथै घड़ीऐ सुरति मति मनि बुधि ॥
Aquí la mente es iluminada y el entendimiento extendido.
ਤਿਥੈ ਘੜੀਐ ਸੁਰਾ ਸਿਧਾ ਕੀ ਸੁਧਿ ॥੩੬॥
ਸਰਮ ਖੰਡ ਵਿਚ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਸਿੱਧਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਕਲ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੩੬॥
The consciousness of the spiritual warriors and the Siddhas, the beings of spiritual perfection, are shaped there. ||36||
तिथै घड़ीऐ सुरा सिधा की सुधि ॥३६॥
La conciencia de los guerreros espirituales, de lo Siddhas y de los seres de perfección espiritual es formada ahí (36)
ਕਰਮ ਖੰਡ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਜੋਰੁ ॥
ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਬਨਾਵਟ ਬਲ ਹੈ, (ਭਾਵ, ਜਦੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਬਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ-ਵਿਕਾਰ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਰਭਾਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੇ),
In the realm of karma, the Word is Power.
करम खंड की बाणी जोरु ॥
Pasando ahora al ámbito del Karma,
ਤਿਥੈ ਹੋਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰੁ ॥
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਦੂਜਾ ਉੱਕਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ।
No one else dwells there,
तिथै होरु न कोई होरु ॥
la Palabra es el Poder y nadie más habita ahí
ਤਿਥੈ ਜੋਧ ਮਹਾਬਲ ਸੂਰ ॥
ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ(ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਨ ਉਹ) ਜੋਧੇ, ਮਹਾਂਬਲੀ ਤੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਹਨ।
except the warriors of great power, the spiritual heroes.
तिथै जोध महाबल सूर ॥
excepto los guerreros espirituales de gran poder y los héroes valientes
ਤਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੋਮ ਰੋਮ ਵਿਚ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
They are totally fulfilled, imbued with the Lord's Essence.
तिन महि रामु रहिआ भरपूरि ॥
ellos están completos, sumergidos con el Espíritu del Todopoderoso.
ਤਿਥੈ ਸੀਤੋ ਸੀਤਾ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
ਉਸ (ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼) ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਅੱਪੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਨਿਰੋਲ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਵਿਚ ਪਰੋਤਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Myriads of Sitas are there, cool and calm in their majestic glory.
तिथै सीतो सीता महिमा माहि ॥
Aquí se sientan los Sitas, ecuánimes y calmados en su majestuosa Gloria,
ਤਾ ਕੇ ਰੂਪ ਨ ਕਥਨੇ ਜਾਹਿ ॥
(ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕੰਚਨ ਦੀ ਵੰਨੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ) ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਰਣਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਨੂਰ ਹੀ ਨੂਰ ਲਿਸ਼ਕਦਾ ਹੈ)।
Their beauty cannot be described.
ता के रूप न कथने जाहि ॥
su Belleza no puede ser descrita.
ਨਾ ਓਹਿ ਮਰਹਿ ਨ ਠਾਗੇ ਜਾਹਿ ॥
(ਇਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ) ਉਹ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰਦੇ ਤੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੱਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ,
Neither death nor deception comes to those,
ना ओहि मरहि न ठागे जाहि ॥
Ni la muerte ni la trampa de la traición
ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਰਾਮੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ।
within whose minds the Lord abides.
जिन कै रामु वसै मन माहि ॥
tienen cabida en la mente de aquéllos que meditan en la Palabra del Señor.
ਤਿਥੈ ਭਗਤ ਵਸਹਿ ਕੇ ਲੋਅ ॥
ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਕਈ ਭਵਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਜਨ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ,
The devotees of many worlds dwell there.
तिथै भगत वसहि के लोअ ॥
Los Devotos de incontables mundos habitan ahí y,
ਕਰਹਿ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਸਚਾ ਮਨਿ ਸੋਇ ॥
ਜੋ ਸਦਾ ਖਿੜੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਉਹ ਸੱਚਾ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਮੌਜੂਦ) ਹੈ।
They celebrate; their minds are imbued with the True Lord.
करहि अनंदु सचा मनि सोइ ॥
celebrando, conservan sus mentes imbuidas en el Señor Verdadero.
ਸਚ ਖੰਡਿ ਵਸੈ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ॥
ਸੱਚ ਖੰਡ ਵਿਚ (ਭਾਵ,ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਰੂਪ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ) ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਹ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ,
In the realm of Truth, the Formless Lord abides.
सच खंडि वसै निरंकारु ॥
En el Ámbito de la Verdad, el Dios sin Forma habita
ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਨਦਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥
ਜੋ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਰਚ ਰਚ ਕੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Having created the creation, He watches over it. By His Glance of Grace, He bestows happiness.
करि करि वेखै नदरि निहाल ॥
y observa Su Creación con la Mirada Bondadosa que otorga Plenitud.
ਤਿਥੈ ਖੰਡ ਮੰਡਲ ਵਰਭੰਡ ॥
ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ (ਭਾਵ, ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ-ਰੂਪ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ) ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਖੰਡ, ਮੰਡਲ ਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮੰਡ (ਦਿੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਤਨੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕਿ)
There are planets, solar systems and galaxies.
तिथै खंड मंडल वरभंड ॥
Existen mundos, universos y galaxias,
ਜੇ ਕੋ ਕਥੈ ਤ ਅੰਤ ਨ ਅੰਤ ॥
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕਥਨ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਓੜਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈ ਸਕਦੇ।
If one speaks of them, there is no limit, no end.
जे को कथै त अंत न अंत ॥
que no tienen límite ni cuenta;
ਤਿਥੈ ਲੋਅ ਲੋਅ ਆਕਾਰ ॥
ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਭਵਣ ਤੇ ਅਕਾਰ ਦਿੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ)
There are worlds upon worlds of His Creation.
तिथै लोअ लोअ आकार ॥
mundos sobre mundos de creación,
ਜਿਵ ਜਿਵ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਤਿਵੈ ਤਿਵ ਕਾਰ ॥
ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਾਰ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਇਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਅੱਪੜ ਕੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਰਤਦੀ ਦਿੱਸਦੀ ਹੈ)।
As He commands, so they exist.
जिव जिव हुकमु तिवै तिव कार ॥
todos bajo Su Comando.
ਵੇਖੈ ਵਿਗਸੈ ਕਰਿ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਤੱਖ ਦਿਸੱਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਵੀਚਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ (ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ) ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
He watches over all, and contemplating the creation, He rejoices.
वेखै विगसै करि वीचारु ॥
El Señor ve y contempla todo, lleno de Dicha.
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਥਨਾ ਕਰੜਾ ਸਾਰੁ ॥੩੭॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਇਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਕਥਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਔਖਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਇਹ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ, ਅਨੁਭਵ ਹੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ) ॥੩੭॥
O Nanak, to describe this is as hard as steel! ||37||
नानक कथना करड़ा सारु ॥३७॥
Oh, dice Nanak, tratar de describir esto es tan duro como el acero. (37)
ਜਤੁ ਪਾਹਾਰਾ ਧੀਰਜੁ ਸੁਨਿਆਰੁ ॥
(ਜੇ) ਜਤ-ਰੂਪ ਦੁਕਾਨ (ਹੋਵੇ), ਧੀਰਜ ਸੁਨਿਆਰਾ ਬਣੇ,
Let self-control be the furnace, and patience the goldsmith.
जतु पाहारा धीरजु सुनिआरु ॥
Que la continencia sea el horno y la paciencia el maestro fundidor;
ਅਹਰਣਿ ਮਤਿ ਵੇਦੁ ਹਥੀਆਰੁ ॥
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੱਤ ਅਹਿਰਣ ਹੋਵੇ, (ਉਸ ਮਤ-ਅਹਿਰਣ ਉੱਤੇ) ਗਿਆਨ ਹਥੌੜਾ (ਵੱਜੇ)।
Let understanding be the anvil, and spiritual wisdom the tools.
अहरणि मति वेदु हथीआरु ॥
que el entendimiento sirva como sólido yunque y las experiencias de la Energía Divina sean la herramienta para trabajar;
ਭਉ ਖਲਾ ਅਗਨਿ ਤਪ ਤਾਉ ॥
(ਜੇ) ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਧੌਂਕਣੀ (ਹੋਵੇ), ਘਾਲ-ਕਮਾਈ ਅੱਗ (ਹੋਵੇ),
With the Fear of God as the bellows, fan the flames of tapa, the body's inner heat.
भउ खला अगनि तप ताउ ॥
que el dolor, al desprenderse del cuerpo se vuelva combustible y el Temor Reverencial a Dios sea el fuelle que enciende las flamas de Tapa,
ਭਾਂਡਾ ਭਾਉ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਤਿਤੁ ਢਾਲਿ ॥
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੁਠਾਲੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਉਸ (ਕੁਠਾਲੀ) ਵਿਚ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮ ਗਲਾਵੋ।
In the crucible of love, melt the Nectar of the Name,
भांडा भाउ अंम्रितु तितु ढालि ॥
el calor interno del cuerpo. En el Crisol del Amor, funde el Néctar del Nombre
ਘੜੀਐ ਸਬਦੁ ਸਚੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਹੀ) ਸੱਚੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਵਿਚ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਘੜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
and mint the True Coin of the Shabad, the Word of God.
घड़ीऐ सबदु सची टकसाल ॥
y acuña la Verdadera Moneda del Shabd, la Palabra de Dios.
ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰਮੁ ਤਿਨ ਕਾਰ ॥
ਇਹ ਕਾਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
Such is the karma of those upon whom He has cast His Glance of Grace.
जिन कउ नदरि करमु तिन कार ॥
Tal es el Karma de aquéllos que han sido inspirados para vislumbrar la Incomparable Gracia
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਦਰੀ ਨਦਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੩੮॥
ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ-ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩੮॥{8}
O Nanak, the Merciful Lord, by His Grace, uplifts and exalts them. ||38||
नानक नदरी नदरि निहाल ॥३८॥
Manifestación de Dios. Oh, dice Nanak, el Señor Misericordioso, por Su Gracia, los eleva y exalta. (38)

ਪਵਣੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਣੀ ਪਿਤਾ ਮਾਤਾ ਧਰਤਿ ਮਹਤੁ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਾਣ (ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਉਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ) ਗੁਰੂ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਲਈ) ਹੈ। ਪਾਣੀ (ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ) ਪਿਉ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ (ਸਭ ਦੀ) ਵੱਡੀ ਮਾਂ ਹੈ।
Air is the Guru, Water is the Father, and Earth is the Great Mother of all.
पवणु गुरू पाणी पिता माता धरति महतु ॥
El aire es el Guru, el agua el padre, la inmensa tierra la madre de todos.
ਦਿਵਸੁ ਰਾਤਿ ਦੁਇ ਦਾਈ ਦਾਇਆ ਖੇਲੈ ਸਗਲ ਜਗਤੁ ॥
ਦਿਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਖਿਡਾਵਾ ਤੇ ਖਿਡਾਵੀ ਹਨ, ਸਾਰਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਖੇਡ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, (ਭਾਵ, ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਣ ਵਿਚ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਨੇ ਕਾਰ-ਵਿਹਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਚੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ)।
Day and night are the two nurses, in whose lap all the world is at play.
दिवसु राति दुइ दाई दाइआ खेलै सगल जगतु ॥
El mundo juega en el regazo de las dos niñeras, el día y la noche.
ਚੰਗਿਆਈਆ ਬੁਰਿਆਈਆ ਵਾਚੈ ਧਰਮੁ ਹਦੂਰਿ ॥
ਧਰਮਰਾਜ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ) ਚੰਗੇ ਤੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Good deeds and bad deeds-the record is read out in the Presence of the Lord of Dharma.
चंगिआईआ बुरिआईआ वाचै धरमु हदूरि ॥
El registro de las buenas y de las malas obras es leído en voz alta en la Presencia del Señor del Dharma
ਕਰਮੀ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੇ ਨੇੜੈ ਕੇ ਦੂਰਿ ॥
ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ (ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ) ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਈ ਜੀਵ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
According to their own actions, some are drawn closer, and some are driven farther away.
करमी आपो आपणी के नेड़ै के दूरि ॥
De acuerdo a las propias acciones, algunos son traídos cerca y otros son alejados aún más.
ਜਿਨੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਗਏ ਮਸਕਤਿ ਘਾਲਿ ॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਸਫਲੀ ਕਰ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Those who have meditated on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and departed after having worked by the sweat of their brows
जिनी नामु धिआइआ गए मसकति घालि ॥
Aquéllos que han meditado en el Naam, el Nombre del Señor y partieron después de haber trabajado con el sudor de su frente,
ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇ ਮੁਖ ਉਜਲੇ ਕੇਤੀ ਛੁਟੀ ਨਾਲਿ ॥੧॥
(ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਦਰ 'ਤੇ) ਉਹ ਉੱਜਲ ਮੁਖ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ (ਹੋਰ ਭੀ) ਕਈ ਜੀਵ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ (ਰਹਿ ਕੇ) ("ਕੂੜ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਿ" ਢਾਹ ਕੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
-O Nanak, their faces are radiant in the Court of the Lord, and many are saved along with them! ||1||
नानक ते मुख उजले केती छुटी नालि ॥१॥
oh, dice Nanak, radiantes están sus caras en la Corte del Señor, y salvan, junto con ellos, a muchos otros. (1)

ਸੋ ਦਰੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਕੇਹਾ ਸੋ ਘਰੁ ਕੇਹਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਬਹਿ ਸਰਬ ਸਮਾਲੇ ॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਤੇਰਾ ਉਹ ਘਰ ਅਤੇ (ਉਸ ਘਰ ਦਾ) ਉਹ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਬੜਾ ਹੀ ਅਸਚਰਜ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ।
Where is That Door of Yours, and where is That Home, in which You sit and take care of all?
सो दरु तेरा केहा सो घरु केहा जितु बहि सरब समाले ॥
¿Oh dónde está Tu Casa y cómo abrir Tu Puerta? ¿En dónde Te sientas para dar soporte a todos?
ਵਾਜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਦ ਅਨੇਕ ਅਸੰਖਾ ਕੇਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਾਵਣਹਾਰੇ ॥
(ਤੇਰੀ ਇਸ ਰਚੀ ਹੋਈ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਵਿਚ) ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਵਾਜੇ ਤੇ ਰਾਗ ਹਨ; ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ) ਵਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ।
The Sound-current of the Naad vibrates there for You, and countless musicians play all sorts of instruments there for You.
वाजे तेरे नाद अनेक असंखा केते तेरे वावणहारे ॥
Sin fin son las melodías tocadas por los músicos;
ਕੇਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਗ ਪਰੀ ਸਿਉ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ਕੇਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਗਾਵਣਹਾਰੇ ॥
ਰਾਗਣੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੀ ਰਾਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਲਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ (ਇਹਨਾਂ ਰਾਗ-ਰਾਗਣੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਗਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ (ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ)।
There are so many Ragas and musical harmonies to You; so many minstrels sing hymns of You.
केते तेरे राग परी सिउ कहीअहि केते तेरे गावणहारे ॥
en Alabanza preparan un sinfín de armonías y compases para cantarte, oh Señor Bondadoso.
ਗਾਵਨਿ ਤੁਧਨੋ ਪਵਣੁ ਪਾਣੀ ਬੈਸੰਤਰੁ ਗਾਵੈ ਰਾਜਾ ਧਰਮੁ ਦੁਆਰੇ ॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਹਵਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਅੱਗ (ਆਦਿਕ ਤੱਤ) ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ (ਤੇਰੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ)। ਧਰਮ ਰਾਜ (ਤੇਰੇ) ਦਰ ਤੇ (ਖਲੋ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ) ਗਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
Wind, water and fire sing of You. The Righteous Judge of Dharma sings at Your Door.
गावनि तुधनो पवणु पाणी बैसंतरु गावै राजा धरमु दुआरे ॥
Para cantarte están los vientos, el agua y el fuego,
ਗਾਵਨਿ ਤੁਧਨੋ ਚਿਤੁ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਲਿਖਿ ਜਾਣਨਿ ਲਿਖਿ ਲਿਖਿ ਧਰਮੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ ॥
ਉਹ ਚਿੱਤਰ ਗੁਪਤ ਭੀ ਜੋ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੇਖੇ) ਲਿਖਣੇ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਧਰਮ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਚਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Chitr and Gupt, the angels of the conscious and the subconscious who keep the record of actions, and the Righteous Judge of Dharma who reads this record, sing of You.
गावनि तुधनो चितु गुपतु लिखि जाणनि लिखि लिखि धरमु बीचारे ॥

(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਦੇਵੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ (ਆਦਿਕ ਦੇਵਤੇ) ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਵਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਸਦਾ (ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ) ਸੋਭ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ (ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ)।
Shiva, Brahma and the Goddess of Beauty, ever adorned by You, sing of You.
गावनि तुधनो ईसरु ब्रहमा देवी सोहनि तेरे सदा सवारे ॥
Canta Shiva y Brama, canta la diosa Parwati;
ਗਾਵਨਿ ਤੁਧਨੋ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਇੰਦ੍ਰਾਸਣਿ ਬੈਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆ ਦਰਿ ਨਾਲੇ ॥
ਕਈ ਇੰਦਰ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ (ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ)।
Indra, seated on His Throne, sings of You, with the deities at Your Door.
गावनि तुधनो इंद्र इंद्रासणि बैठे देवतिआ दरि नाले ॥

(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਸਿੱਧ ਲੋਕ ਸਮਾਧੀਆਂ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਸਾਧ ਜਨ (ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੀ) ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਹ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
