ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਪੰਚ ਤਤੁ ਬਿਸਥਾਰਾ ਵਿਚਿ ਧਾਤੂ ਪੰਚ ਆਪਿ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਭਗਤ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਤੋਂ) ਪੰਜ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਗਤ-ਖਿਲਾਰਾ ਖਿਲਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪੰਜ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
The Lord Himself directs the evolution of the world of the five elements; He Himself infuses the five senses into it.
हरि आपे पंच ततु बिसथारा विचि धातू पंच आपि पावै ॥
Él Mismo dirige la evolución del mundo hecho de los cinco elementos y con Su Esencia, infunde los cinco sentidos.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਲੇ ਆਪੇ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਝਗਰੁ ਚੁਕਾਵੈ ॥੨॥੩॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-ਹੇ ਭਾਈ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ) ਖਿੱਚੋਤਾਣ ਮੁਕਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੩॥
O servant Nanak, the Lord Himself unites us with the True Guru; He Himself resolves the conflicts. ||2||3||
जन नानक सतिगुरु मेले आपे हरि आपे झगरु चुकावै ॥२॥३॥
Oh, dice el Sirviente Nanak, el Señor Mismo nos une con el Guru Verdadero y Él Mismo resuelve los conflictos de la mente.(2-3)

ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਾ ॥
ਹੇ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਮਨ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ, (ਇਹ ਨਾਮ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਪਾਰ-ਉਤਾਰਾ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Chant the Name of the Lord, O mind, and you shall be emancipated.
जपि मन राम नामु निसतारा ॥
Oh mente, contempla el Nombre del Señor para que seas emancipado
ਕੋਟ ਕੋਟੰਤਰ ਕੇ ਪਾਪ ਸਭਿ ਖੋਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
(ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਦੇ (ਕੀਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ) ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
The Lord shall destroy all the sins of millions upon millions of incarnations, and carry you across the terrifying world-ocean. ||1||Pause||
कोट कोटंतर के पाप सभि खोवै हरि भवजलु पारि उतारा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
y así te liberes de los errores que haz cometido durante millones de encarnaciones y nades a través del mar de la existencia. (1-Pausa)
ਕਾਇਆ ਨਗਰਿ ਬਸਤ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰਾ ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਸਾਡੇ) ਸਰੀਰ-ਸ਼ਹਰ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਫਿਰ ਭੀ) ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਡਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੋਂਹਦਾ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਆਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ।
In the body-village, the Lord Master abides; the Lord is without fear, without vengeance, and without form.
काइआ नगरि बसत हरि सुआमी हरि निरभउ निरवैरु निरंकारा ॥
Nuestro Señor, el Absoluto, sin miedo, sin odio, vive en la ciudad de nuestro cuerpo.
ਹਰਿ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਬਸਤ ਕਛੁ ਨਦਰਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਧਾ ਗੁਰ ਵੀਚਾਰਾ ॥੧॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਸਦਾ ਸਾਡੇ) ਨੇੜੇ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਪਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ) ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ (ਹਾਂ,) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਸੂਝ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਲੱਭ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
The Lord is dwelling near at hand, but He cannot be seen. By the Guru's Teachings, the Lord is obtained. ||1||
हरि निकटि बसत कछु नदरि न आवै हरि लाधा गुर वीचारा ॥१॥
Vive tan cerca, pero no Lo vemos y es revelado sólo a través de la Sabiduría del Guru.(1)
ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਸਾਹੁ ਸਰਾਫੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਹੀਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਕੀਆ ਪਾਸਾਰਾ ॥
(ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਮਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਸਮਝ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹੀਰਾ ਹੈ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਰਤਨ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਹਾਝਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੈ ਸਰਾਫ਼ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਖਿਲਾਰਾ ਰਚਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
The Lord Himself is the banker, the jeweller, the jewel, the gem; the Lord Himself created the entire expanse of the creation.
हरि आपे साहु सराफु रतनु हीरा हरि आपि कीआ पासारा ॥
El Señor Mismo es el Gran Mercader, el Joyero y la Joya; la creación
ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਸੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਹਾਝੇ ਸੋ ਸਾਹੁ ਸਚਾ ਵਣਜਾਰਾ ॥੨॥੪॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਹਾਝਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਨਾਮ-ਰਤਨ ਦਾ) ਸਾਹੂਕਾਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ (ਇਸ ਨਾਮ-ਰਤਨ ਦਾ) ਵਣਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੪॥
O Nanak, one who is blessed by the Lord's Kind Mercy, trades in the Lord's Name; He alone is the true banker, the true trader. ||2||4||
नानक जिसु क्रिपा करे सु हरि नामु विहाझे सो साहु सचा वणजारा ॥२॥४॥
en toda su extensión es Suya y quien tenga Su Gracia, dice Nanak, es el Verdadero Comerciante del Nombre. (2-4)

ਹੇ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਮਨ! ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ, ਜੋ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਸਰੂਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
Meditate, O mind, on the immaculate, formless Lord.
जपि मन हरि निरंजनु निरंकारा ॥
Oh mente, vive en el Señor Sin Forma e Inmaculado;
ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਰਾਵਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਜਿਸ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ) ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈ ਸਕਦਾ, ਜਿਸ (ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਦਾ) ਹੱਦ-ਬੰਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਭਦਾ, ਉਸ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਸਿਮਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Forever and ever, meditate on the Lord, the Giver of peace; He has no end or limitation. ||1||Pause||
सदा सदा हरि धिआईऐ सुखदाता जा का अंतु न पारावारा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
sí, vive siempre en Él, el Dador de Paz, el Dios Infinito. (1-Pausa)
ਅਗਨਿ ਕੁੰਟ ਮਹਿ ਉਰਧ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗਾ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖੈ ਉਦਰ ਮੰਝਾਰਾ ॥
ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਜਦੋਂ ਜੀਵ (ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੇਟ ਦੀ) ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਕੁੰਡ ਵਿਚ ਪੁੱਠਾ ਲਟਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਸੁਰਤ ਜੋੜੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ (ਤਦੋਂ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਮਾਂ ਦੇ) ਪੇਟ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the fiery pit of the womb, when you were hanging upside-down, the Lord absorbed You in His Love, and preserved You.
अगनि कुंट महि उरध लिव लागा हरि राखै उदर मंझारा ॥
Quien te conservó íntegro en el fuego del vientre, cuando estando boca abajo, fuiste entonado en Él.
ਸੋ ਐਸਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਛਡਾਵਣਹਾਰਾ ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਦਾ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰ, ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਭੀ ਉਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਛਡਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
So serve such a Lord, O my mind; the Lord shall deliver you in the end. ||1||
सो ऐसा हरि सेवहु मेरे मन हरि अंति छडावणहारा ॥१॥
Contempla a tal Ser que te llevará al final. (1)
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਬਸਿਆ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਕਰਹੁ ਨਮਸਕਾਰਾ ॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਵੱਸਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾਇਆ ਕਰ।
Bow down in reverence to that humble being, within whose heart the Lord, Har, Har, abides.
जा कै हिरदै बसिआ मेरा हरि हरि तिसु जन कउ करहु नमसकारा ॥
Presta obediencia a Aquél en quien tu Señor habita,
ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਜਪੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰਾ ॥੨॥੫॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-ਹੇ ਮਨ!) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਜਾਪ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ਨਾਮ (ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ) ਆਸਰਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੫॥
By the Lord's Kind Mercy, O Nanak, one obtains the Lord's meditation, and the support of the Naam. ||2||5||
हरि किरपा ते पाईऐ हरि जपु नानक नामु अधारा ॥२॥५॥

O my mind, chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har; meditate on it continually.
जपि मन हरि हरि नामु नित धिआइ ॥
Oh mente mía, contempla siempre el Nombre del Señor
ਜੋ ਇਛਹਿ ਸੋਈ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਆਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
(ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮੰਗੇਂਗਾ, ਉਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਏਂਗਾ। ਕੋਈ ਦੁੱਖ ਭੀ ਆ ਕੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇਗਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
You shall obtain the fruits of your heart's desires, and pain shall never touch you again. ||1||Pause||
जो इछहि सोई फलु पावहि फिरि दूखु न लागै आइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
y recolecta el fruto de los deseos de tu corazón, así el dolor no se te acercará más. (1-Pausa)
ਸੋ ਜਪੁ ਸੋ ਤਪੁ ਸਾ ਬ੍ਰਤ ਪੂਜਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਗਾਇ ॥
ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਜਿਸ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਬਣੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਹੀ ਜਪ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਹੀ ਤਪ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਹੀ ਵਰਤ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਹੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਹੈ।
That is chanting, that is deep meditation and austerity, that is fasting and worship, which inspires love for the Lord.
सो जपु सो तपु सा ब्रत पूजा जितु हरि सिउ प्रीति लगाइ ॥
Esta es la Verdadera Contemplación, es la Verdadera Austeridad, es la Única Verdadera Alabanza y Disciplina, la cual te entona en verdad con el Señor.
ਬਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਭ ਝੂਠੀ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਬਿਸਰਿ ਸਭ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ (ਜਪ ਤਪ ਆਦਿਕ ਦਾ) ਪਿਆਰ ਝੂਠਾ ਹੈ, ਇਕ ਛਿਨ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਪਿਆਰ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
Without the Lord's Love, every other love is false; in an instant, it is all forgotten. ||1||
बिनु हरि प्रीति होर प्रीति सभ झूठी इक खिन महि बिसरि सभ जाइ ॥१॥
Pues sin el Amor del Señor cualquier otro amor es falso, pues éste se desvanece en un momento. (1)
ਤੂ ਬੇਅੰਤੁ ਸਰਬ ਕਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਿਛੁ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ! ਤੂੰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈਂ, ਤੇਰਾ ਮੁੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
You are infinite, the Master of all power; Your value cannot be described at all.
तू बेअंतु सरब कल पूरा किछु कीमति कही न जाइ ॥
Tú eres Infinito, Todopoderoso, oh Dios, Tu Valor nadie lo puede describir.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਣਿ ਤੁਮੑਾਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਵੈ ਛਡਾਇ ॥੨॥੬॥
ਮੈਂ (ਨਾਨਕ) ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਈ ਰੱਖ ॥੨॥੬॥
Nanak has come to Your Sanctuary, O Dear Lord; as it pleases You, save him. ||2||6||
नानक सरणि तुमारी हरि जीउ भावै तिवै छडाइ ॥२॥६॥
Nanak busca solo Tu Refugio, oh mi Señor, emancípalo de la manera que Tú escojas. (2-6)
ਰਾਗੁ ਬੈਰਾੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਘਰੁ ੧ ॥
ਰਾਗ ਬੈਰਾੜੀ, ਘਰ ੧ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ।

ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ,
Meeting with the humble Saints, sing the Praises of the Lord.
संत जना मिलि हरि जसु गाइओ ॥
Recita la Alabanza del Señor, encontrando a los Santos,
ਕੋਟਿ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਦੂਖ ਗਵਾਇਓ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਜਨਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਲਏ ਹਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
The pains of millions of incarnations shall be eradicated. ||1||Pause||
कोटि जनम के दूख गवाइओ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
así serás limpiado de los errores acumulados en las miles de reencarnaciones pasadas. (1-Pausa)
ਜੋ ਚਾਹਤ ਸੋਈ ਮਨਿ ਪਾਇਓ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਭੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਚਾਹ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
Whatever your mind desires, that you shall obtain.
जो चाहत सोई मनि पाइओ ॥
Recibirás el Fruto de los deseos de tu corazón y en Su Gracia,
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦਿਵਾਇਓ ॥੧॥
(ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ) ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਭੀ ਦਿਵਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੧॥
By His Kind Mercy, the Lord blesses us with His Name. ||1||
करि किरपा हरि नामु दिवाइओ ॥१॥
el Señor te bendecirá con Su Nombre. (1)
ਸਰਬ ਸੂਖ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਵਡਾਈ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ (ਜੁੜਿਆਂ) ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ) ਇੱਜ਼ਤ (ਭੀ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ)।
All happiness and greatness are in the Lord's Name.
सरब सूख हरि नामि वडाई ॥
Toda Felicidad y Grandeza están en el Nombre del Señor
ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਤਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਨ ਦੀ ਇਹ) ਅਕਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥
By Guru's Grace, Nanak has gained this understanding. ||2||1||7||
गुर प्रसादि नानक मति पाई ॥२॥१॥७॥
