ਬੰਧਨ ਮੁਕਤੁ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਮੇਰੀ ਰਾਖੈ ਮਮਤਾ ॥੩॥
ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਪਿਤਾ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
He frees us from bondage, O Saints, and saves us from possessiveness. ||3||
बंधन मुकतु संतहु मेरी राखै ममता ॥३॥
Oh Santos, a través de Él nos podremos quitar las amarras del ego.
ਭਏ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਰਹਿਓ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣਾ ॥
ਪਾਲਣਹਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਗੇੜ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Becoming Merciful, my Lord and Master has ended my comings and goings in reincarnation.
भए किरपाल ठाकुर रहिओ आवण जाणा ॥
El Maestro, en Su Misericordia, ha terminado con mis idas y venidas.(3)
ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪਛਾਣਾ ॥੪॥੨੭॥੯੭॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਸ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੨੭॥੯੭॥{51-52}
Meeting with the Guru, Nanak has recognized the Supreme Lord God. ||4||27||97||

ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਭਾਈਆ ਕਟਿਅੜਾ ਜਮਕਾਲੁ ॥
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਤਰਾ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Meeting with the humble beings, O Siblings of Destiny, the Messenger of Death is conquered.
संत जना मिलि भाईआ कटिअड़ा जमकालु ॥
Los que se juntaron con los Santos, no conocieron la muerte.
ਸਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਮਨਿ ਵੁਠਾ ਹੋਆ ਖਸਮੁ ਦਇਆਲੁ ॥
ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਉਤੇ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ।
The True Lord and Master has come to dwell within my mind; my Lord and Master has become Merciful.
सचा साहिबु मनि वुठा होआ खसमु दइआलु ॥
A su interior llegó el Verdadero Maestro, el Señor, el Ser Misericordioso.
ਪੂਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਬਿਨਸਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਜੰਜਾਲੁ ॥੧॥
(ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ) ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਮਾਇਆ-ਮੋਹ ਦਾ ਜਾਲ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
Meeting with the Perfect True Guru, all my worldly entanglements have ended. ||1||
पूरा सतिगुरु भेटिआ बिनसिआ सभु जंजालु ॥१॥
al Guru Perfecto y todos sus problemas terminaron. (1)
ਮੇਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਾ ਹਉ ਤੁਧੁ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੁ ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
O my True Guru, I am a sacrifice to You.
मेरे सतिगुरा हउ तुधु विटहु कुरबाणु ॥
Oh mi Verdadero Guru, mi ser lo ofrezco a Ti.
ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਣੈ ਤੁਸਿ ਦਿਤਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ) ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾਮ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
I am a sacrifice to the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan. By the Pleasure of Your Will, You have blessed me with the Ambrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||1||Pause||
तेरे दरसन कउ बलिहारणै तुसि दिता अंम्रित नामु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Bendita, bendita es Tu Visión; en Tu Misericordia me bendices con el Néctar del Naam. (1-Pausa)
ਜਿਨ ਤੂੰ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਭਾਉ ਕਰਿ ਸੇਈ ਪੁਰਖ ਸੁਜਾਨ ॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਨ।
Those who have served You with love are truly wise.
जिन तूं सेविआ भाउ करि सेई पुरख सुजान ॥
Los que Te sirvieron con Amor, son personas sabias.
ਤਿਨਾ ਪਿਛੈ ਛੁਟੀਐ ਜਿਨ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ (ਤੇਰਾ) ਨਾਮ-ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ।
Those who have the Treasure of the Naam within, emancipate others as well as themselves.
तिना पिछै छुटीऐ जिन अंदरि नामु निधानु ॥
Los que atesoraron Tu Nombre, liberaron a los demás.
ਗੁਰ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਕੋ ਨਹੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਦਿਤਾ ਆਤਮ ਦਾਨੁ ॥੨॥
(ਪਰ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਦਾਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ) ਗੁਰੂ ਜੇਡਾ ਹੋਰ ਦਾਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
There is no other Giver as great as the Guru, who has given the gift of the soul. ||2||
गुर जेवडु दाता को नही जिनि दिता आतम दानु ॥२॥
No existe ningún benefactor que iguale al Guru, pues nos dio el Regalo del Alma. (2)
ਆਏ ਸੇ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਹਹਿ ਜਿਨ ਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੁਭਾਇ ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਆ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਆਏ ਉਹੀ ਕਬੂਲ ਹਨ।
Blessed and acclaimed is the coming of those who have met the Guru with loving faith.
आए से परवाणु हहि जिन गुरु मिलिआ सुभाइ ॥
Benditos son aquéllos a quienes el Guru los recibió con Amor.
ਸਚੇ ਸੇਤੀ ਰਤਿਆ ਦਰਗਹ ਬੈਸਣੁ ਜਾਇ ॥
(ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਹੈਤਾ ਨਾਲ) ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਦੇ ਨਾਮ) ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੀਜ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਠਣ ਨੂੰ ਥਾਂ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
Attuned to the True One, you shall obtain a place of honor in the Court of the Lord.
सचे सेती रतिआ दरगह बैसणु जाइ ॥
Imbuido en Su Amor uno logra un lugar de honor en la Corte del Señor.
ਕਰਤੇ ਹਥਿ ਵਡਿਆਈਆ ਪੂਰਬਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਪਾਇ ॥੩॥
(ਪਰ ਇਹ ਸਭ) ਵਡਿਆਈਆਂ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਦੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਹਨ (ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਪਹਿਲੇ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਨੇਕ ਕਮਾਈ ਦਾ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਲੇਖ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
Greatness is in the Hands of the Creator; it is obtained by pre-ordained destiny. ||3||
करते हथि वडिआईआ पूरबि लिखिआ पाइ ॥३॥
Toda la Gloria está en las Manos de Dios y uno la obtiene sólo si así está escrito por Dios. (3)
ਸਚੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਸਚੁ ਕਰਣਹਾਰੁ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸਚੁ ਟੇਕ ॥
ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਜੋ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਹੈ।
True is the Creator, True is the Doer. True is our Lord and Master, and True is His Support.
सचु करता सचु करणहारु सचु साहिबु सचु टेक ॥
Verdadero es el Creador, Verdadera es la Causa y Verdadero es el Soporte del Maestro.
ਸਚੋ ਸਚੁ ਵਖਾਣੀਐ ਸਚੋ ਬੁਧਿ ਬਿਬੇਕ ॥
ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਉਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ (ਅਸਲੀ ਪਰਖ ਦੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ।
So speak the Truest of the True. Through the True One, an intuitive and discerning mind is obtained.
सचो सचु वखाणीऐ सचो बुधि बिबेक ॥
Grita la Verdad, pues es a través de la Verdad que uno logra la Luz para el intelecto.
ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਜਪਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀਵੈ ਏਕ ॥੪॥੨੮॥੯੮॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਸ ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਜਪਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੨੮॥੯੮॥
Nanak lives by chanting and meditating on the One, who is pervading within and contained amongst all. ||4||28||98||
सरब निरंतरि रवि रहिआ जपि नानक जीवै एक ॥४॥२८॥९८॥
Nanak vive recordándolo a Él, Quien prevalece en todo y por todas partes. (4-28-98)

ਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰੁ ਪੂਜੀਐ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਲਾਇ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦਾ ਰੂਪ) ਹੈ (ਗੁਰੂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆਰ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਆਦਰ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
Worship the Guru, the Transcendent Lord, with your mind and body attuned to love.
गुरु परमेसुरु पूजीऐ मनि तनि लाइ पिआरु ॥
Alaba a tu Guru, a tu Dios con Amor, con tu Alma y cuerpo.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਜੀਅ ਕਾ ਸਭਸੈ ਦੇਇ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, (ਗੁਰੂ) ਹਰੇਕ (ਸਰਨ ਆਏ) ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ) ਆਸਰਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The True Guru is the Giver of the soul; He gives Support to all.
सतिगुरु दाता जीअ का सभसै देइ अधारु ॥
Tu Guru Verdadero es el Dador del Éxtasis, Él es lo Principal en todo.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਬਚਨ ਕਮਾਵਣੇ ਸਚਾ ਏਹੁ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥
ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਤਮ ਇਹੀ ਅਕਲ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਕਮਾਏ ਜਾਣ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਘੜਿਆ ਜਾਏ)।
Act according to the Instructions of the True Guru; this is the true philosophy.
सतिगुर बचन कमावणे सचा एहु वीचारु ॥
Practica la Palabra del Guru Verdadero, pues Ésta es en realidad la Verdadera Filosofía.
ਬਿਨੁ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਰਤਿਆ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹੁ ਸਭੁ ਛਾਰੁ ॥੧॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆਰ ਪਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਇਹ) ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ (ਜੋ) ਸਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹੈ (ਜੀਵ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਪਾਈ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੧॥
Without being attuned to the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, all attachment to Maya is just dust. ||1||
बिनु साधू संगति रतिआ माइआ मोहु सभु छारु ॥१॥
Sin la Saad Sangat, la Sociedad de los Santos, el apego a Maya es como el polvo. (1)
ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਜਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮਾਲਿ ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾ (ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹੁ)।
O my friend, reflect upon the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
मेरे साजन हरि हरि नामु समालि ॥
Oh amigo mío, cosecha el Nombre del Señor,
ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਵੈ ਘਾਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਹਾਂ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਸਫਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
In the Saadh Sangat, He dwells within the mind, and one's works are brought to perfect fruition. ||1||Pause||
साधू संगति मनि वसै पूरन होवै घाल ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
tu mente descansará en Paz en la Congregación de los Santos y tu Alma obtendrá satisfacción. (1-Pausa)
ਗੁਰੁ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਸਭ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਬੇਅੰਤ (ਗੁਣਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ) ਹੈ। ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ (ਹੀ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Guru is All-powerful, the Guru is Infinite. By great good fortune, the Blessed Vision of His Darshan is obtained.
गुरु समरथु अपारु गुरु वडभागी दरसनु होइ ॥
Todopoderoso e Infinito es el Guru, afortunado es aquél que busca tener Su Visión.
ਗੁਰੁ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਨਿਰਮਲਾ ਗੁਰ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥
ਗੁਰੂ (ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ਜੋ) ਗਿਆਨ-ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ-ਸਰੂਪ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਜੇਡਾ ਵੱਡਾ (ਸ਼ਖ਼ਸੀਅਤ ਵਾਲਾ) ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
The Guru is Imperceptible, Immaculate and Pure. There is no other as great as the Guru.
गुरु अगोचरु निरमला गुर जेवडु अवरु न कोइ ॥
Incomprensible, Inmaculado y Puro es Él, nadie puede igualar al Guru.
ਗੁਰੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਕਰਣਹਾਰੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਚੀ ਸੋਇ ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਕਰਤਾਰ (ਦਾ ਰੂਪ) ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ (ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ਜੋ) ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆਂ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ।
The Guru is the Creator, the Guru is the Doer. The Gurmukh obtains true glory.
गुरु करता गुरु करणहारु गुरमुखि सची सोइ ॥
Él es el Creador y la Causa; a través de Él se vivencia una Gloria plena.
ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਕੀਤਾ ਲੋੜੇ ਸੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੨॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਆਕੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਗੁਰੂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਗੁਰੂ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਆਕੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ, ਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਹ ਕਰਨਾ ਲੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੨॥
Nothing is beyond the Guru; whatever He wishes comes to pass. ||2||
गुर ते बाहरि किछु नही गुरु कीता लोड़े सु होइ ॥२॥
Sin el Guru no hay nada y todo lo que ocurre es por Su Voluntad. (2)
ਗੁਰੁ ਤੀਰਥੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਰਜਾਤੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਮਨਸਾ ਪੂਰਣਹਾਰੁ ॥
ਗੁਰੂ (ਹੀ ਅਸਲ) ਤੀਰਥ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ (ਹੀ) ਪਾਰਜਾਤ ਰੁੱਖ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਾਮਨਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
The Guru is the Sacred Shrine of Pilgrimage, the Guru is the Wish-fulfilling Elysian Tree.
गुरु तीरथु गुरु पारजातु गुरु मनसा पूरणहारु ॥
El Guru es el Lugar de Peregrinaje, el Guru es el Árbol Coral de Kappa;
ਗੁਰੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇਇ ਉਧਰੈ ਸਭੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਹੀ (ਉਹ) ਦਾਤਾ ਹੈ (ਜੋ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਸਾਰਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Guru is the Fulfiller of the desires of the mind. The Guru is the Giver of the Name of the Lord, by which all the world is saved.
गुरु दाता हरि नामु देइ उधरै सभु संसारु ॥
es Quien hace cumplir los deseos de nuestra mente. El Guru es el Dador del Nombre, la Salvación del mundo entero.
ਗੁਰੁ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਊਚਾ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥
ਗੁਰੂ (ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ਜੋ) ਸਭ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਸਰੂਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ, ਜੋ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੈ, ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈ।
The Guru is All-powerful, the Guru is Formless; the Guru is Lofty, Inaccessible and Infinite.
गुरु समरथु गुरु निरंकारु गुरु ऊचा अगम अपारु ॥
Todopoderoso es Él, el Uno sin Forma, Elevado, Incognoscible y Vasto.
ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਅਗਮ ਹੈ ਕਿਆ ਕਥੇ ਕਥਨਹਾਰੁ ॥੩॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਤਕ (ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ) ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਕੋਈ ਭੀ (ਸਿਆਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਆਣਾ) ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੩॥
The Praise of the Guru is so sublime-what can any speaker say? ||3||
गुर की महिमा अगम है किआ कथे कथनहारु ॥३॥
Inefable es Su Alabanza, qué podría uno decir. (3)
ਜਿਤੜੇ ਫਲ ਮਨਿ ਬਾਛੀਅਹਿ ਤਿਤੜੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪਾਸਿ ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਭੀ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇੱਛਾ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਰੀਏ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
All the rewards which the mind desires are with the True Guru.
जितड़े फल मनि बाछीअहि तितड़े सतिगुर पासि ॥
Todas las recompensas que busca nuestra mente están en las Manos del Guru.
ਪੂਰਬ ਲਿਖੇ ਪਾਵਣੇ ਸਾਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇ ਰਾਸਿ ॥
ਪਹਿਲੇ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਨੇਕ ਕਮਾਈ ਦੇ ਲਿਖੇ ਲੇਖ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆਂ) ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗੁਰੂ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਰਮਾਇਆ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
One whose destiny is so pre-ordained, obtains the Wealth of the True Name.
पूरब लिखे पावणे साचु नामु दे रासि ॥
Si lo tuviéramos escrito en nuestro Destino, seríamos bendecidos con el Tesoro del Nombre Verdadero.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਰਣੀ ਆਇਆਂ ਬਾਹੁੜਿ ਨਹੀ ਬਿਨਾਸੁ ॥
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਆ ਪਈਏ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਮੁੜ ਕਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
Entering the Sanctuary of the True Guru, you shall never die again.
सतिगुर सरणी आइआं बाहुड़ि नही बिनासु ॥
Si uno busca el Refugio del Guru Verdadero, uno no morirá más.
ਹਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਵਿਸਰਉ ਏਹੁ ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਾਸੁ ॥੪॥੨੯॥੯੯॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ) ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਨਾਹ ਭੁਲਾਵਾਂ। ਮੇਰੀ ਇਹ ਜਿੰਦ ਮੇਰਾ ਇਹ ਸਰੀਰ ਤੇ (ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਂਦਾ) ਸਾਹ ਸਭ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੨੯॥੯੯॥
Nanak: may I never forget You, Lord. This soul, body and breath are Yours. ||4||29||99||
हरि नानक कदे न विसरउ एहु जीउ पिंडु तेरा सासु ॥४॥२९॥९९॥
Nanak no se olvida del Señor, Quien lo ha bendecido con la vida. (4-29-99)

ਸੰਤ ਜਨਹੁ ਸੁਣਿ ਭਾਈਹੋ ਛੂਟਨੁ ਸਾਚੈ ਨਾਇ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ! ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! (ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ) ਸੁਣੋ। ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਿਆਂ ਹੀ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
O Saints, O Siblings of Destiny, listen: release comes only through the True Name.
संत जनहु सुणि भाईहो छूटनु साचै नाइ ॥
Escuchen mis Hermanos del Destino, Santos, nuestra Liberación se da a través del Nombre Verdadero.
ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਸਰੇਵਣੇ ਤੀਰਥ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ ॥
(ਪਰ ਇਹ ਨਾਮ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਹੀ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਪੂਜਣੇ (ਭਾਵ, ਹਉਮੈ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਣਾ, ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਜਪਣਾ) ਹੀ (ਸਾਰੇ) ਤੀਰਥਾਂ (ਦਾ ਤੀਰਥ) ਹੈ।
Worship the Feet of the Guru. Let the Name of the Lord be your sacred shrine of pilgrimage.
गुर के चरण सरेवणे तीरथ हरि का नाउ ॥
Alaben los Pies del Guru y sepan que el Nombre del Señor es el Único Lugar de Peregrinaje.
ਆਗੈ ਦਰਗਹ ਮੰਨੀਅਹਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਨਿਥਾਵੇ ਥਾਉ ॥੧॥
(ਇਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ (ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਜੀਵ) ਆਦਰ ਪਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਤੇ ਭੀ ਆਸਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ) ਆਸਰਾ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
Hereafter, you shall be honored in the Court of the Lord; there, even the homeless find a home. ||1||
आगै दरगह मंनीअहि मिलै निथावे थाउ ॥१॥
En el otro mundo serán aceptados y encontrarán un sitio en la Corte del Señor. (1)
