ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Un Dios Creador del Universo, por la Gracia del Verdadero Guru
ਕੋਈ ਬੋਲੈ ਨਿਰਵਾ ਕੋਈ ਬੋਲੈ ਦੂਰਿ ॥
ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਅਸਾਡੇ) ਨੇੜੇ (ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ), ਕੋਈ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਅਸਾਥੋਂ ਕਿਤੇ) ਦੂਰ (ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਹੈ);
Some say that He is near, and others say that He is far away.
कोई बोलै निरवा कोई बोलै दूरि ॥
Algunos dicen que el Señor está cerca; otros que está lejos.
ਜਲ ਕੀ ਮਾਛੁਲੀ ਚਰੈ ਖਜੂਰਿ ॥੧॥
(ਪਰ ਨਿਰਾ ਬਹਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਰਣਾ ਕਰ ਲੈਣਾ ਇਉਂ ਹੀ ਅਸੰਭਵ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ) ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮੱਛੀ ਖਜੂਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਨ ਦਾ ਜਤਨ ਕਰੇ (ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਭੀ ਬੜੇ ਔਖੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ) ॥੧॥
We might just as well say that the fish climbs out of the water, up the tree. ||1||
जल की माछुली चरै खजूरि ॥१॥
Pero, ¿cómo puede un pez desde el agua trepar a un árbol?(1)
ਕਾਂਇ ਰੇ ਬਕਬਾਦੁ ਲਾਇਓ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਰੱਬ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੂਰ ਜਿਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਦਾ ਵਿਖਾਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ) ਕਿਉਂ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਬਹਿਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ?
Why do you speak such nonsense?
कांइ रे बकबादु लाइओ ॥
Oh hombres, ¿por qué hacen tanto alarde de su Amado Señor?
ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਓ ਤਿਨਹਿ ਛਪਾਇਓ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੇ (ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ) ਲੁਕਾਇਆ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਹ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਬਹਿਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਿੱਦਿਆ ਦਾ ਢੰਢੋਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ) ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
One who has found the Lord, keeps quiet about it. ||1||Pause||
जिनि हरि पाइओ तिनहि छपाइओ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Pues quien obtiene Su Amor, no confía su secreto a otro. (1-Pausa)
ਪੰਡਿਤੁ ਹੋਇ ਕੈ ਬੇਦੁ ਬਖਾਨੈ ॥
ਵਿੱਦਿਆ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਆਦਿਕ ਤਾਂ) ਵੇਦ (ਆਦਿਕ ਧਰਮ-ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ) ਦੀ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
Those who become Pandits, religious scholars, recite the Vedas,
पंडितु होइ कै बेदु बखानै ॥
Volviéndose un erudito, uno hace discursos sobre los Vedas
ਮੂਰਖੁ ਨਾਮਦੇਉ ਰਾਮਹਿ ਜਾਨੈ ॥੨॥੧॥
ਪਰ ਮੂਰਖ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਪਛਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ (ਕੇਵਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਾਂਝ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੨॥੧॥
but foolish Naam Dayv knows only the Lord. ||2||1||
मूरखु नामदेउ रामहि जानै ॥२॥१॥
pero yo, Nam Dev, el ignorante, no conozco a nadie más que al Señor, mi Dios. (2-1)
ਕਉਨ ਕੋ ਕਲੰਕੁ ਰਹਿਓ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਲੇਤ ਹੀ ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਜੀਵ ਦਾ (ਭੀ) ਕੋਈ ਪਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ;
Whose blemishes remain, when one chants the Lord's Name?
कउन को कलंकु रहिओ राम नामु लेत ही ॥
¿Dime quién no se limpia de sus errores si recita el Nombre del Señor?
ਪਤਿਤ ਪਵਿਤ ਭਏ ਰਾਮੁ ਕਹਤ ਹੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿੱਘਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੰਦੇ ਭੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Sinners become pure, chanting the Lord's Name. ||1||Pause||
पतित पवित भए रामु कहत ही ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Todos los malvados son purificados con el simple hecho de recitar el Nombre de mi Dios. (1-Pausa)
ਰਾਮ ਸੰਗਿ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਪ੍ਰਤਗਿਆ ਆਈ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜ ਕੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਾ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ,
With the Lord, servant Naam Dayv has come to have faith.
राम संगि नामदेव जन कउ प्रतगिआ आई ॥
En Compañía del Señor, Nam Dev ha reforzado su Fe,
ਏਕਾਦਸੀ ਬ੍ਰਤੁ ਰਹੈ ਕਾਹੇ ਕਉ ਤੀਰਥ ਜਾੲਂੀ ॥੧॥
ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਇਕਾਦਸ਼ੀ (ਆਦਿਕ) ਵਰਤ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ; ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੀਰਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ (ਭੀ ਕਿਉਂ) ਜਾਵਾਂ? ॥੧॥
I have stopped fasting on the eleventh day of each month; why should I bother to go on pilgrimages to sacred shrines? ||1||
एकादसी ब्रतु रहै काहे कउ तीरथ जाइीं ॥१॥
y no piensa que el ayuno y los peregrinajes sirvan de algo. (1)
ਭਨਤਿ ਨਾਮਦੇਉ ਸੁਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੁਮਤਿ ਭਏ ॥
ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ-(ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਜੀਵ) ਚੰਗੀ ਕਰਣੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਅਕਲ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Prays Naam Dayv, I have become a man of good deeds and good thoughts.
भनति नामदेउ सुक्रित सुमति भए ॥
Dice Nam Deva, por mi propia experiencia he logrado saber
ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਰਾਮੁ ਕਹਿ ਕੋ ਕੋ ਨ ਬੈਕੁੰਠਿ ਗਏ ॥੨॥੨॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਰਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਜੀਵ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿਚ ਅੱਪੜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥੨॥
Chanting the Lord's Name, under Guru's Instructions, who has not gone to heaven? ||2||2||
गुरमति रामु कहि को को न बैकुंठि गए ॥२॥२॥
que quien sea que haya recitado el Nombre del Señor ha penetrado en Su Cielo de Éxtasis. (2-2)
ਤੀਨਿ ਛੰਦੇ ਖੇਲੁ ਆਛੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
(ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਰਚਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਇਹ ਜਗਤ) ਤ੍ਰਿ-ਗੁਣੀ ਸੁਭਾਉ ਦਾ ਤਮਾਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Here is a verse with a three-fold play on words. ||1||Pause||
तीनि छंदे खेलु आछै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Aquí hay un verso con juego de tres palabras. (1-Pausa)
ਕੁੰਭਾਰ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਹਾਂਡੀ ਆਛੈ ਰਾਜਾ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਸਾਂਡੀ ਗੋ ॥
(ਸਾਧਾਰਨ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ) ਘੁਮਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਹਾਂਡੀ (ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ) ਹੈ, ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਸਾਂਢੀ (ਆਦਿਕ ਹੀ) ਹੈ;
In the potter's home there are pots, and in the king's home there are camels.
कुंभार के घर हांडी आछै राजा के घर सांडी गो ॥
En la casa del alfarero hay cántaros; en el palacio del rey hay camellos;
ਬਾਮਨ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਰਾਂਡੀ ਆਛੈ ਰਾਂਡੀ ਸਾਂਡੀ ਹਾਂਡੀ ਗੋ ॥੧॥
ਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਦੇ ਘਰ (ਸਗਨ ਮਹੂਰਤ ਆਦਿਕ ਵਿਚਾਰਨ ਲਈ) ਪੱਤ੍ਰੀ (ਆਦਿਕ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ) ਹੈ। (ਇਹਨਾਂ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਪੱਤ੍ਰੀ, ਸਾਂਢਨੀ, ਭਾਂਡੇ (ਹਾਂਡੀ) ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਹਨ) ॥੧॥
In the Brahmin's home there are widows. So here they are: haandee, saandee, raandee. ||1||
बामन के घर रांडी आछै रांडी सांडी हांडी गो ॥१॥
en la casa del Brahmán hay viudas. Ellos sólo tienen viudas, camellos y vasijas, yandi, sandi, randi. (1)
ਬਾਣੀਏ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਹੀਂਗੁ ਆਛੈ ਭੈਸਰ ਮਾਥੈ ਸੀਂਗੁ ਗੋ ॥
ਹਟਵਾਣੀਏ ਦੇ ਘਰ (ਭਾਵ, ਹੱਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ) ਹਿੰਙ (ਆਦਿਕ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ) ਹੈ, ਭੈਂਸੇ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੁਭਾਉ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ) ਸਿੰਗ (ਹੀ) ਹਨ,
In the home of the grocer there is asafetida-spice; on the forehead of the buffalo there are horns.
बाणीए के घर हींगु आछै भैसर माथै सींगु गो ॥
En la casa del marchante hay asafétida, el búfalo tiene cuernos en su frente;
ਦੇਵਲ ਮਧੇ ਲੀਗੁ ਆਛੈ ਲੀਗੁ ਸੀਗੁ ਹੀਗੁ ਗੋ ॥੨॥
ਅਤੇ ਦੇਵਾਲੇ (ਦੇਵ-ਅਸਥਾਨ) ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿੰਗ (ਹੀ ਗੱਡਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ) ਹੈ। (ਇਹਨੀਂ ਥਾਈਂ) ਹਿੰਙ, ਸਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਲਿੰਗ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਹਨ) ॥੨॥
In the temple of Shiva there are lingams. So here they are: heeng, seeng, leeng. ||2||
देवल मधे लीगु आछै लीगु सीगु हीगु गो ॥२॥
en la casa de Shiva hay un lingam. Ellos sólo tienen lingam, cuernos y asafétidas, ying, sing, ling.(2)
ਤੇਲੀ ਕੈ ਘਰ ਤੇਲੁ ਆਛੈ ਜੰਗਲ ਮਧੇ ਬੇਲ ਗੋ ॥
(ਜੇ) ਤੇਲੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ (ਜਾਉ, ਤਾਂ ਉਥੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਬਾਹਰ) ਤੇਲ (ਹੀ ਤੇਲ ਪਿਆ) ਹੈ, ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੇਲਾਂ (ਹੀ ਵੇਲਾਂ) ਹਨ,
In the house of the oil-presser there is oil; in the forest there are vines.
तेली कै घर तेलु आछै जंगल मधे बेल गो ॥
En la casa del aceitero hay aceite; en el bosque hay enredaderas;
ਮਾਲੀ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਕੇਲ ਆਛੈ ਕੇਲ ਬੇਲ ਤੇਲ ਗੋ ॥੩॥
ਅਤੇ ਮਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਕੇਲਾ (ਹੀ ਲੱਗਾ ਮਿਲਦਾ) ਹੈ। ਇਹਨੀਂ ਥਾਈਂ ਤੇਲ, ਵੇਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਕੇਲਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਹਨ) ॥੩॥
In the gardener's home there are bananas. So here they are: tayl, bayl, kayl. ||3||
माली के घर केल आछै केल बेल तेल गो ॥३॥
en la casa del jardinero hay plátanos. Así ellos sólo tienen plátanos, enredaderas y aceite, teil, beil, keil.(3)
ਸੰਤਾਂ ਮਧੇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦੁ ਆਛੈ ਗੋਕਲ ਮਧੇ ਸਿਆਮ ਗੋ ॥
(ਇਸ ਜਗਤ-ਖੇਲ ਦਾ ਰਚਨਹਾਰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਹੋਇਆ?) (ਜਿਵੇਂ) ਗੋਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ (ਦੀ ਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ) ਹੈ, (ਤਿਵੇਂ ਇਸ ਖੇਲ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ) ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
The Lord of the Universe, Govind, is within His Saints; Krishna, Shyaam, is in Gokal.
संतां मधे गोबिंदु आछै गोकल मधे सिआम गो ॥
El Señor del Universo, Govind, está con Sus Santos, Krishna, Shyam, está en la ciudad de Gokal,
ਨਾਮੇ ਮਧੇ ਰਾਮੁ ਆਛੈ ਰਾਮ ਸਿਆਮ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਗੋ ॥੪॥੩॥
(ਉਹੀ) ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਦੇ (ਭੀ) ਅੰਦਰ (ਪ੍ਰਤੱਖ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ) ਹੈ। (ਜਿਹਨੀਂ ਥਾਈਂ, ਭਾਵ, ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਗੋਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਮ ਹੀ (ਗੱਜ ਰਿਹਾ) ਹੈ ॥੪॥੩॥
The Lord, Raam, is in Naam Dayv. So here they are: Raam, Shyaam, Govind. ||4||3||
नामे मधे रामु आछै राम सिआम गोबिंद गो ॥४॥३॥
y el Señor Ram está en Nam Dev, y así aquí están, Ram, Shyam y Govind.(4-3)
