ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।

ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Un Dios Creador del Universo, por la Gracia del Verdadero Guru
ਦੇਹ ਤੇਜਣਿ ਜੀ ਰਾਮਿ ਉਪਾਈਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਘੋੜੀ ਹੈ (ਇਸ ਨੂੰ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
This body-horse was created by the Lord.
देह तेजणि जी रामि उपाईआ राम ॥
El cuerpo humano es el corcel creado por el Señor para galopar hasta Él.
ਧੰਨੁ ਮਾਣਸ ਜਨਮੁ ਪੁੰਨਿ ਪਾਈਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਚੰਗੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਲਭਦਾ ਹੈ।
Blessed is human life, which is obtained by virtuous actions.
धंनु माणस जनमु पुंनि पाईआ राम ॥
Bendita, bendita es la forma humana que nos permite tener la Experiencia de Dios en esta vida.
ਮਾਣਸ ਜਨਮੁ ਵਡ ਪੁੰਨੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਦੇਹ ਸੁ ਕੰਚਨ ਚੰਗੜੀਆ ॥
ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਲੱਭਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ ਸੋਨੇ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਹੈ,
Human life is obtained only by the most virtuous actions; this body is radiant and golden.
माणस जनमु वड पुंने पाइआ देह सु कंचन चंगड़ीआ ॥

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਚਲੂਲਾ ਪਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਵ ਰੰਗੜੀਆ ॥
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਗੂੜ੍ਹਾ ਰੰਗ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਰੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
The Gurmukh is imbued with the deep red color of the poppy; he is imbued with the new color of the Lord's Name, Har, Har, Har.
गुरमुखि रंगु चलूला पावै हरि हरि हरि नव रंगड़ीआ ॥
y por la Gracia del Guru brilla como la flor de Lala, teñida con el siempre fresco color del Señor, Jar, Jar, Jar.
ਏਹ ਦੇਹ ਸੁ ਬਾਂਕੀ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪੀ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸੁਹਾਵੀਆ ॥
ਇਹ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
This body is so very beautiful; it chants the Name of the Lord, and it is adorned with the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
एह देह सु बांकी जितु हरि जापी हरि हरि नामि सुहावीआ ॥
Este cuerpo que contempla al Señor es Glorioso, embellecido por el Nombre del Señor, Jar, Jar.
ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਪਾਈ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਖਾਈ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਰਾਮਿ ਉਪਾਈਆ ॥੧॥
ਉਸੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਿਤਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੀ) ਇਹ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
By great good fortune, the body is obtained; the Naam, the Name of the Lord, is its companion; O servant Nanak, the Lord has created it. ||1||
वडभागी पाई नामु सखाई जन नानक रामि उपाईआ ॥१॥
Por buena fortuna el cuerpo es obtenido; el Naam, el Nombre del Señor es el Compañero, oh, dice el sirviente Nanak, el Señor lo ha creado. (1)
ਦੇਹ ਪਾਵਉ ਜੀਨੁ ਬੁਝਿ ਚੰਗਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ (ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰੀਰ-ਘੋੜੀ ਉਤੇ, ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ) ਕਾਠੀ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
I place the saddle on the body-horse, the saddle of realization of the Good Lord.
देह पावउ जीनु बुझि चंगा राम ॥
Deja que mi silla de montar sea conocer a mi buen Señor,
ਚੜਿ ਲੰਘਾ ਜੀ ਬਿਖਮੁ ਭੁਇਅੰਗਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਇੰਜ ਇਸ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਔਖੇ (ਤਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ) ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
Riding this horse, I cross over the terrifying world-ocean.
चड़ि लंघा जी बिखमु भुइअंगा राम ॥
y que cabalgando, el corcel de mi cuerpo, pueda atravesar el tormentoso mundo terrenal.
ਬਿਖਮੁ ਭੁਇਅੰਗਾ ਅਨਤ ਤਰੰਗਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਰਿ ਲੰਘਾਏ ॥
ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਹੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਹੀ) ਇਸ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਔਖੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਦਾ ਹੈ।
The terrifying world-ocean is rocked by countless waves, but the Gurmukh is carried across.
बिखमु भुइअंगा अनत तरंगा गुरमुखि पारि लंघाए ॥
Tempestuoso es este mar de millones de olas y es a través del Guru que uno lo cruza.
ਹਰਿ ਬੋਹਿਥਿ ਚੜਿ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਲੰਘੈ ਗੁਰੁ ਖੇਵਟੁ ਸਬਦਿ ਤਰਾਏ ॥
ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਵਿਚ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ-ਮਲਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Embarking upon the boat of the Lord, the very fortunate ones cross over; the Guru, the Boatman, carries them across through the Word of the Shabad.
हरि बोहिथि चड़ि वडभागी लंघै गुरु खेवटु सबदि तराए ॥
Afortunados son aquéllos que abordando el Barco del Señor, son llevados a través por el Guru,
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਾ ॥
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ (ਟਿਕ ਕੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
Night and day, imbued with the Lord's Love, singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, the Lord's lover loves the Lord.
अनदिनु हरि रंगि हरि गुण गावै हरि रंगी हरि रंगा ॥
el Barquero con los remos de la Palabra. Y así uno canta siempre la Alabanza del Señor imbuido en Su Amor,
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਿਰਬਾਣ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਉਤਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਪਦੁ ਚੰਗਾ ॥੨॥
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਉੱਚਾ ਤੇ ਸੁੱਚਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਦਰਜਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਥੇ ਵਾਸਨਾ ਪੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ ॥੨॥
Servant Nanak has obtained the state of Nirvaanaa, the state of ultimate goodness, the state of the Lord. ||2||
जन नानक निरबाण पदु पाइआ हरि उतमु हरि पदु चंगा ॥२॥
y en ese Estado se vuelve como Dios. Uno obtiene el Estado de Nirvana; oh, ¡qué Glorioso es el Estado de Dios! (2)
ਕੜੀਆਲੁ ਮੁਖੇ ਗੁਰਿ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਝ ਪੱਕੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸੂਝ (ਆਪਣੀ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ-ਘੋੜੀ ਦੇ) ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿਚ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਲਗਾਮ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
For a bridle in my mouth, the Guru has implanted spiritual wisdom within me.
कड़ीआलु मुखे गुरि गिआनु द्रिड़ाइआ राम ॥
Deja que las riendas del corcel sean la Sabiduría del Guru, deja que el fuete sea el Amor del Señor.
ਤਨਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਚਾਬਕੁ ਲਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਕਾਂਇਆਂ-ਘੋੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਬੁਕ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
He has applied the whip of the Lord's Love to my body.
तनि प्रेमु हरि चाबकु लाइआ राम ॥
Fuetea tu cuerpo con el Amor del Señor y así conquista tu ser mirando hacia Él.
ਤਨਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਇ ਚਾਬਕੁ ਮਨੁ ਜਿਣੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜੀਤਿਆ ॥
ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ-ਘੋੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਬੁਕ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
Applying the whip of the Lord's Love to his body, the Gurmukh conquers his mind, and wins the battle of life.
तनि प्रेमु हरि हरि लाइ चाबकु मनु जिणै गुरमुखि जीतिआ ॥
Refina tu mente burda, obtén la Palabra y bebe el Néctar del Señor.
ਅਘੜੋ ਘੜਾਵੈ ਸਬਦੁ ਪਾਵੈ ਅਪਿਉ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਪੀਤਿਆ ॥
ਇੰਜ ਉਹ ਅੱਲ੍ਹੜ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਘੜ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਪੀਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
He trains his untrained mind with the Word of the Shabad, and drinks in the rejuvenating essence of the Lord's Nectar.
अघड़ो घड़ावै सबदु पावै अपिउ हरि रसु पीतिआ ॥
Escuchando la Palabra recitada por el Guru,
ਸੁਣਿ ਸ੍ਰਵਣ ਬਾਣੀ ਗੁਰਿ ਵਖਾਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਤੁਰੀ ਚੜਾਇਆ ॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਉਚਾਰੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ-ਘੋੜੀ ਉਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਕਾਂਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ)।
Listen with your ears to the Word, uttered by the Guru, and attune your body-horse to the Lord's Love.
सुणि स्रवण बाणी गुरि वखाणी हरि रंगु तुरी चड़ाइआ ॥
estando tu cuerpo de corcel teñido con el color del Señor, cruza,
ਮਹਾ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਪੰਥੁ ਬਿਖੜਾ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਾਰਿ ਲੰਘਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜੀਵਨ) ਬੜਾ ਔਖਾ ਪੈਂਡਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ (ਗੁਰੂ ਸਰਨ ਪਇਆਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
Servant Nanak has crossed over the long and treacherous path. ||3||
महा मारगु पंथु बिखड़ा जन नानक पारि लंघाइआ ॥३॥
dice Nanak, el largo, el tedioso y traicionero sendero de la ilusión. (3)
ਘੋੜੀ ਤੇਜਣਿ ਦੇਹ ਰਾਮਿ ਉਪਾਈਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਸਰੀਰ-ਘੋੜੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ,
The transitory body-horse was created by the Lord.
घोड़ी तेजणि देह रामि उपाईआ राम ॥
El corcel, como cuerpo, es creado por mi Señor, mi Dios.
ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜਾਪੈ ਸਾ ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਤੁਖਾਈਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਸਰੀਰ-ਘੋੜੀ) ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਧੰਨ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਬਾਸ਼ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ,
Blessed, blessed is that body-horse which meditates on the Lord God.
जितु हरि प्रभु जापै सा धनु धंनु तुखाईआ राम ॥
Bendita es esta yegua a través de la cual experimento a mi Señor y Maestro.
ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜਾਪੈ ਸਾ ਧੰਨੁ ਸਾਬਾਸੈ ਧੁਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਕਿਰਤੁ ਜੁੜੰਦਾ ॥
ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਸਰੀਰ-ਘੋੜੀ) ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਕੱਠ ਉੱਘੜ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Blessed and acclaimed is that body-horse which meditates on the Lord God; it is obtained by the merits of past actions.
जितु हरि प्रभु जापै सा धंनु साबासै धुरि पाइआ किरतु जुड़ंदा ॥
Bendito es este cuerpo a través del cual el Señor es conocido,
ਚੜਿ ਦੇਹੜਿ ਘੋੜੀ ਬਿਖਮੁ ਲਘਾਏ ਮਿਲੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ ॥
ਇਸ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ-ਘੋੜੀ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ, ਜੋ ਔਖੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਪਰਮ ਆਨੰਦ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ।
Riding the body-horse, one crosses over the terrifying world ocean; the Gurmukh meets the Lord, the embodiment of supreme bliss.
चड़ि देहड़ि घोड़ी बिखमु लघाए मिलु गुरमुखि परमानंदा ॥
Lo obtuve a través de Dios debido al resultado acumulado de los Karmas pasados.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਾਜੁ ਰਚਾਇਆ ਪੂਰੈ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਜੰਞ ਆਈ ॥
ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਦਾ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਵਿਆਹ ਰਚਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤੇ ਸਤ ਸੰਗੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜੰਞ ਆ ਗਈ।
The Lord, Har, Har, has perfectly arranged this wedding; the Saints have come together as a marriage party.
हरि हरि काजु रचाइआ पूरै मिलि संत जना जंञ आई ॥

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਵਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਵਾਧਾਈ ॥੪॥੧॥੫॥
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪਤੀ (ਦਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ) ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਤਮਕ ਸ਼ਾਦੀਆਨੇ ਵੱਜ ਪਏ ॥੪॥੧॥੫॥
Servant Nanak has obtained the Lord as his Spouse; joining together, the Saints sing the songs of joy and congratulations. ||4||1||5||
जन नानक हरि वरु पाइआ मंगलु मिलि संत जना वाधाई ॥४॥१॥५॥
Gracia del Guru. El Señor ha preparado mi boda con Él; la fiesta de matrimonio es de los Santos. Y así, Nanak ha obtenido a su Esposo Eterno y los Santos lo bendicen con la Melodía de Dicha. (4-1-5)

ਦੇਹ ਤੇਜਨੜੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਵ ਰੰਗੀਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
(ਮਾਨੋ) ਉਹ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਘੋੜੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ,
The body is the Lord's horse; the Lord imbues it with the fresh and new color.
देह तेजनड़ी हरि नव रंगीआ राम ॥
El cuerpo es el caballo del Señor, el Señor le da frescura y un color nuevo;
ਗੁਰ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਮੰਗੀਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਜੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਸੂਝ ਮੰਗਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ (ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਸੋਂ) ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਝ ਮੰਗਦੀ ਹੈ,
From the Guru, I ask for the Lord's spiritual wisdom.
गुर गिआनु गुरू हरि मंगीआ राम ॥

ਗਿਆਨ ਮੰਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਚੰਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਜਾਣੀਆ ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਇਹ ਸਮਝਣ ਦਾ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਤੇ ਕੇਡਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ।
I ask for the Lord's spiritual wisdom, and the Lord's sublime sermon; through the Name of the Lord, I have come to know His value and His state.
गिआन मंगी हरि कथा चंगी हरि नामु गति मिति जाणीआ ॥
mediante el Nombre del Señor he llegado a conocer Su Valor.
ਸਭੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਸਫਲਿਉ ਕੀਆ ਕਰਤੈ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਵਖਾਣੀਆ ॥
ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਨਮ ਸਫਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਉਚਾਰਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
The Creator has made my life totally fruitful; I chant the Name of the Lord.
सभु जनमु सफलिउ कीआ करतै हरि राम नामि वखाणीआ ॥
El Creador ha hecho totalmente fructífera mi vida y así entono el Nombre del Señor. El Humilde Sirviente del Señor, pide la limosna
ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਲਾਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਮੰਗੀਆ ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ (ਦੀ ਦਾਤਿ) ਮੰਗਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The Lord's humble servant begs for the Lord's Name, for the Lord's Praises, and for devotional worship of the Lord God.
हरि राम नामु सलाहि हरि प्रभ हरि भगति हरि जन मंगीआ ॥
del Nombre del Señor, de las Alabanzas del Señor, y pide por la Devoción en el Servicio a Dios nuestro Señor.
ਜਨੁ ਕਹੈ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਚੰਗੀਆ ॥੧॥
ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ, ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ, ਸੁਣੋ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
Says servant Nanak, listen, O Saints: devotional worship of the Lord, the Lord of the Universe, is sublime and good. ||1||
जनु कहै नानकु सुणहु संतहु हरि भगति गोविंद चंगीआ ॥१॥
Dice Nanak, escuchen, oh Santos, la Alabanza del Señor es gloriosa. (1)
ਦੇਹ ਕੰਚਨ ਜੀਨੁ ਸੁਵਿਨਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਉਹ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ (-ਘੋੜੀ, ਮਾਨੋ,) ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਹੈ,
The golden body is saddled with the saddle of gold.
देह कंचन जीनु सुविना राम ॥
El cuerpo dorado es adornado con la silla de oro y engarzado con la Joya del Nombre del Señor;
ਜੜਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਤੰਨਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਜੋ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਰਤਨ ਜੜ ਕੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਕਾਠੀ ਪਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
It is adorned with the jewel of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
जड़ि हरि हरि नामु रतंना राम ॥
así embellecido obtiene al Señor y entra en Éxtasis.
ਜੜਿ ਨਾਮ ਰਤਨੁ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਸੁਖ ਘਣੇ ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਰਤਨ ਜੜ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਖ ਹੀ ਸੁਖ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
Adorned with the jewel of the Naam, one obtains the Lord of the Universe; he meets the Lord, sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and obtains all sorts of comforts.
जड़ि नाम रतनु गोविंद पाइआ हरि मिले हरि गुण सुख घणे ॥
Recibiendo la Palabra del Shabd del Guru uno habita en el Nombre del Señor y por un Destino Perfecto toma Su Color.
ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗ ਹਰਿ ਬਣੇ ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ, ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਵਿਚ ਉਘੜ ਪਿਆ।
He obtains the Word of the Guru's Shabad, and he meditates on the Name of the Lord; by great good fortune, he assumes the color of the Lord's Love.
गुर सबदु पाइआ हरि नामु धिआइआ वडभागी हरि रंग हरि बणे ॥
Nuestro Señor y Maestro, el Conocedor de lo Íntimo, es conocido;
ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਵਤਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਵ ਰੰਗੀਆ ॥
ਇੰਜ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਲਕ ਤੇ ਹਰ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਨਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਨਵਾਂ-ਨਰੋਆ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਚੋਜਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ।
He meets his Lord and Master, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts; His body is ever-new, and His color is ever-fresh.
हरि मिले सुआमी अंतरजामी हरि नवतन हरि नव रंगीआ ॥
el se encuentra con su Señor Creador, El que da todo , el Busca Corazones, su cuerpo es siempre fresco, siempre nuevo.
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਵਖਾਣੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਾਣੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੰਗੀਆ ॥੨॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਇੰਜ ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
Nanak chants and realizes the Naam; he begs for the Name of the Lord, the Lord God. ||2||
नानकु वखाणै नामु जाणै हरि नामु हरि प्रभ मंगीआ ॥२॥
Nanak recita el Nombre y Lo conoce; busca siempre del Señor el Nombre. (2)
ਕੜੀਆਲੁ ਮੁਖੇ ਗੁਰਿ ਅੰਕਸੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ-ਘੋੜੀ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿਚ ਲਗਾਮ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਕੁੰਡਾ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
The Guru has placed the reins in the mouth of the body-horse.
कड़ीआलु मुखे गुरि अंकसु पाइआ राम ॥
El Guru ha puesto el freno en la boca del cuerpo como caballo,
ਮਨੁ ਮੈਗਲੁ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦਿ ਵਸਿ ਆਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ-ਹਾਥੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਗਿਆ।
The mind-elephant is overpowered by the Word of the Guru's Shabad.
मनु मैगलु गुर सबदि वसि आइआ राम ॥
la mente elefante es controlada por la Palabra del Shabd del Guru.
ਮਨੁ ਵਸਗਤਿ ਆਇਆ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਾ ਧਨ ਕੰਤਿ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਗਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਦਰਜਾ ਪਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਕੰਤ ਦੀ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
The bride obtains the supreme status, as her mind is brought under control; she is the beloved of her Husband Lord.
मनु वसगति आइआ परम पदु पाइआ सा धन कंति पिआरी ॥
La novia obtiene el Estado Supremo cuando su mente es puesta bajo control. Ella es la Bienamada de Su Esposo, el Señor. Amando
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੁ ਲਗਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਘਰਿ ਸੋਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਾਰੀ ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਇੰਜ ਉਹ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ।
Deep within her inner self, she is in love with her Lord; in His home, she is beautiful - she is the bride of her Lord God.
अंतरि प्रेमु लगा हरि सेती घरि सोहै हरि प्रभ नारी ॥
al Señor desde lo profundo de su corazón, ella se embellece en Su Hogar. Imbuida en el Amor del Señor,
ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੀ ਸਹਜੇ ਮਾਤੀ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
ਜੇਹੜੀ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
Imbued with the Lord's Love, she is intuitively absorbed in bliss; she obtains the Lord God, Har, Har.
हरि रंगि राती सहजे माती हरि प्रभु हरि हरि पाइआ ॥
se inmerge en Equilibrio y así obtiene a su Señor Jar, Jar.
ਨਾਨਕ ਜਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਦਾਸੁ ਕਹਤੁ ਹੈ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥੩॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ-ਦਾਸ! ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਜੀਵ ਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩॥
Servant Nanak, the Lord's slave, says that only the very fortunate meditate on the Lord, Har, Har. ||3||
नानक जनु हरि दासु कहतु है वडभागी हरि हरि धिआइआ ॥३॥
El Sirviente Nanak, el Esclavo del Señor dice, sólo los muy afortunados meditan en el Señor, Jar, Jar. (3)
ਦੇਹ ਘੋੜੀ ਜੀ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ-ਘੋੜੀ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ,
The body is the horse, upon which one rides to the Lord.
देह घोड़ी जी जितु हरि पाइआ राम ॥
El cuerpo es el corcel que nos permite cabalgar hasta Él. Encontrando al Verdadero Guru, uno canta los Himnos de Dicha.
ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਂਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
Meeting with the True Guru, one sings the songs of joy.
मिलि सतिगुर जी मंगलु गाइआ राम ॥
¡Entona pues la Melodía de Dicha del Señor, sirve al Nombre del Señor y vuélvete el Sirviente de Sus Sirvientes!
ਹਰਿ ਗਾਇ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵ ਸੇਵਕ ਸੇਵਕੀ ॥
ਜੋ ਸੇਵਕ-ਭਾਵ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਗਾ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
Sing the songs of joy to the Lord, serve the Name of the Lord, and become the servant of His servants.
हरि गाइ मंगलु राम नामा हरि सेव सेवक सेवकी ॥
Penetrarás así en la Mansión de la Presencia del Bienamado y con todo Amor disfrutarás de la Dicha de Su Amor.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜਾਇ ਪਾਵੈ ਰੰਗ ਮਹਲੀ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਮਾਣੈ ਰੰਗ ਕੀ ॥
ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਆਨੰਦ-ਭਰੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਜਾ ਪਹੁੰਚਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
You shall go and enter the Mansion of the Beloved Lord's Presence, and lovingly enjoy His Love.
प्रभ जाइ पावै रंग महली हरि रंगु माणै रंग की ॥
Con todo placer en tu mente cantarás las Gloriosas Alabanzas del Señor, siguiendo la Enseñanza del Guru.
ਗੁਣ ਰਾਮ ਗਾਏ ਮਨਿ ਸੁਭਾਏ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਮਨਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੱਤ ਉਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, so pleasing to my mind; following the Guru's Teachings, I meditate on the Lord within my mind.
गुण राम गाए मनि सुभाए हरि गुरमती मनि धिआइआ ॥
En la gloriosa presencia del Señor, tan placentera a mi mente, Medita en el Señor en lo profundo de tu mente.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ਦੇਹ ਘੋੜੀ ਚੜਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੨॥੬॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ-ਦਾਸ! ਉਸ ਉਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਾਂਇਆਂ-ਘੋੜੀ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੨॥੬॥
The Lord has showered His Mercy upon servant Nanak; mounting the body-horse, he has found the Lord. ||4||2||6||
जन नानक हरि किरपा धारी देह घोड़ी चड़ि हरि पाइआ ॥४॥२॥६॥
El Señor ha rociado Su Misericordia sobre el Sirviente Nanak y cabalgando, el corcel del cuerpo, ha encontrado al Señor. (4-2-6)
